What is the political party of the youths?
How many are they to start with?
I laugh when I see comment like this,

Do me a favor, tell INEC to ensure that every citizen who desire to vote get their PVC at any cost untill then we will discuss more after election because right now the election is between INEC and Peter Obi.

We have POS machine in every corners of our houses how come INEC now find it difficult to ensure easy and smooth PVC registration.

INEC is already compromised

This Obi's supporters with their as usual noise.

This same PVC, the 2 leading party have urged their supporters to obtain it long time, infact they might have reserved PVC with INEC and with this extension, it's an opportunity to them to slot in more people, Yet Obi's supporters will make everything looks like they are the only people collecting their PVCS.

And how do you differentiate Obi's supporters from the people asking for PVC?

I am in Delta State, one INEC man that came with a machine to our side asked people who they are going to vote for and told us that if we are not voting for PDP then no registration. What I said now is 100% truth so why all this?

Peter Obi cannot win and yet they are making sure that Nigerians who choose to exercise their franchise are not allowed to get their PVC's its because they are afraid of Peter Obi and yet they say he cannot win presidential election

I thought that Nigerians coming to to vote is a new development but it seems that INEC is already bought

POS machine is everywhere how come INEC can't make the machine available

I am really happy to see how APC and PDP are channeling all their efforts in one direction which is Peter Obi because they can feel the wave of Obident and are now trying to do anything possible to spoil his name.

If it's true that Peter Obi cannot win election why are you people channeling all your energy to pull Obi down by every means necessary?

Politics / Peter Obi To Become The President Is Not Sentimental Or Delusional by Everest9(m): 5:24pm On Jun 18, 2022
Do you see the dream of many Nigerians campaigning for Peter Obi to be the next Nigerian president as a waste of time and energy?

Many said that those who support him are being sentimental and ignorant of the reality. Well everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion but let us discuss about it as friends here.

I have never insulted anyone in Nairaland and will never no matter the provocation. I am only here to share my thought and not actually to insult PDP and APC supporters. We all have right to support whoever we choose to support.

However, I will like us to discuss about certain things about the youth campaigning for Peter Obi and why they choose to do so. Yes I am proudly one of the supporter.

Many said that election is calculations and structure not by popular trend on social media, yes you are right.

Others said that believing that Peter Obi can become the president of Nigeria in 2023 is a delusion, yes I agree as well.

Lastly I heard the word that winning an election starts from local government, state government etc, which Peter Obi doesn't have, no doubt about that too.

Let me start with the structure and calculation, Buhari and his APC won Goodluck in 2015 while PDP was still in power not because they have better structure or because they have calculated well more than PDP but because Nigerians was in search for a better leadership and chosed Buhari as they promised a better change.

Tell me why PDP with their ruling power, structure and calculation didn't win them the election

The reason is simple we are the structure, let me use Enugu state as an Example, Enugu is not a house that can't be moved but a state filled with human beings who have the power to say no to bad governance.

Each state in Nigeria is filled with human beings who has the power to decide their future, what is structure when the people decide to do things differently. We are the structure and the calculation Peter Obi needs.

The word Delusion means a belief or impression maintained despite being contradicted by reality or rational argument.

If believing that Peter Obi can become a president of Nigeria in 2023 is what you call delusion then you are making a very big mistake because it's left for me and you to decide who will be our president. It can only work when we say yes to the right person and no to the wrong candidates.

Goodluck was the first president to be voted out since we started democracy if I am not wrong, it's was possible during Goodluck it's going to be another shocking news in 2023. Remember that impossibility only exist in fools dictionary if you know what I mean.

Peter Obi doesn't have grassroot foundation and structure. My brother and sister you are that structure local government and state government are not going to vote but people inside it and you are one of them.

What do you even think that made many people to start shouting everywhere about Peter Obi?

* He is the only one who says that he will be happy to lose the election doing the right thing than to win the election doing the wrong thing.

Do you think he doesn't have the money to share, well you might be surprised to know that he is one of the richest men in Nigeria but no one will add him to such list because of his life style.

* He is the only one who moves around the word to study the secretes of their growth and how he can apply the same to help Nigerians, when people say that we need Peter Obi more than he needs us you thought it's a joke but it's not.

* He is the only one who is already super rich without politics and only fights to see Nigeria work like every other country of the world.

* He has spent couple of years in white man's land to understand that cost of governance should be as low as anything while the progress and success of the country should be the priority.

* He is the only one who can boldly explain how he is going to fix it and how it is done everywhere.

* By his grace he is healthy at least our money will not be used for checkup in London.

I can go on and on to tell you more and you know the truth.

Guys let be reasonable for once, it's not about the possibility of Peter Obi becoming the president, it's about doing the right thing. we are the structure and calculations he needs to become the president and together we are unstoppable

This is not about PDP or APC it's about trying something different and hopefully, we will get different and positive results.

Finally, I am 30+ now and I have never voted for once despite having the PVC. On election day what I usually do is to buy fuel and tune to Channels, TVC or CNN to watch the happenings.

I was motivated after watching almost all the videos about Peter Obi on Facebook. I now believe in him, I don't mind sleeping in my polling unit for him that day, I will surely feel fulfilled irrespective of the outcome. So I am not worried about wasting my vote to the right person.

Atiku is Good
Tinubu is also Good but Peter Obi is Outstanding and Incomparable.

One love to you all!

People who don't have PVC should avoid this thread, we don't need noise makers but real voters.

Guys try and be Obident, remember the popular saying that when a child is crying and pointing a particular place is either the mother is there or the father.

Most of us are pointing in one direction not because we know Peter Obi in person or because we have received anything from him. He no dey give shi-shi but try for once go to facebook and listen to this man.

We might be wrong but trust me he is the only one who can give facts and figures without looking into any written pepper which shows that his brain is still good and works properly.

Please we can make things happen in 2023 that the world and those who don't believe will be asking how and why. Those who believe that bribe is enough to do the job will call those people in charge of the distribution of rooted funds to ask if they really shared the money accordingly because the effect of the money will not be noticed. The INEC will be surprised to announce the figures that they can't explain to those that paid them to favour them.

Please it's about our future and not about where Obi came from or his religion but with him we believe that Nigeria Will be better.

One love to you all

Politics / A Movement Is More Than A Campaign And It Is Phenomenal by Everest9(m): 11:22pm On Jun 11, 2022
*A MOVEMENT IS MORE THAN A CAMPAIGN AND IT IS PHENOMENAL*

*Peter Obi is not running a campaign. He is leading a movement*.
*These are the differences in case we don't know*.

1. *Campaigns end as soon as the results of elections are announced. Movements continue thereafter*.

2. *Campaigns are driven by politicians while movements are driven by the people*.

4. *Campaigns are driven by interest while movements are driven by convictions*

4. *In Campaigns people follow a politician selfishly because they believe he/ she will win but in movements, the people follow selflessly because they believe the people will win*.

5. *In campaigns ,people follow a person while in a movement people follow ideology*.
6 *In campaigns politicians tell the people what they will do but in a movement the people know what the person they are following will do*.

7. *In a campaign, people who cast their vote believe they are doing a politician a favour but in a movement they know they are doing themselves a favour*.

8. *In a campaign, politicians build structures but in a movement the people build the structure and infact, everyone is a structure*

9. *In campaigns we rely on politicians to convince us to get involved,we have people with apathy but in a movement people find motivation from within. Everyone is bold*.

10. *Campaigns come with a plan from day one but Movements don't. They are spontaneous. They build momentum that becomes the plan*.

11. *Campaigns are like T.V ads ,politicians pay to get people in but a movement is like a premiership match, the people pay to get in at their own expenses*.

12. *In a campaign people who oppose you or make a caricature of your campaign are usually confident but in a movement, people who oppose you or make caricature of the movement are scared of it*.

*Get ready. A movement is underway*.

Politics / The Possibility Of Peter Obi Becoming The President by Everest9(m): 5:58pm On Jun 10, 2022
Hello my fellow Nigerians, I want to use this opportunity to share my thought about Peter Obi and his ambition of becoming the Nigerian president. I have never been interested in politics until now.

In fact I have never participated in any election but not again, I believe that I am part of our problems today for not joining others to cast my vote, it was wrong in own part.

The choice of Peter Obi leaving PDP for LP

I have been following every single thread about Peter Obi in Nairaland, Facebook and Twitter. I always check people's opinions and views. Many believed that he left PDP because he knew that the outcome will not be in his favour.

Well, I don't see anything wrong moving where he will be recognized and appreciated, yes you may think that he won't have any chance joining an unpopular party but lets ask ourselves some questions.

For how long are we going to depend on party politics we vote for people based on their party not about what they can actually offer, totally wrong.

How can we be doing the same thing over and over and expect different results. Can't we try something different, yes Peter Obi might not be your candidate which is okey but let vote in a way that our conscience will not judge us.

Nigerians, we can't continue like this, the decision we take today will either positively or negatively affect our generation, it's okay if you vote for anyone you choose to vote for, it's your right but think we need to do things differently this time around.

Peter Obi is not for Igbos

I don't know Peter Obi and I know he doesn't know me too, I only saw him on Tv just like most of us but honestly he might not be the saviour that Nigerians are looking for but there are something special about him.

I came to know about Peter Obi when the video of his visit to Mbaka Adoration ministry at Enugu surfaced. I didn't choose to vote for him because he is an Igbo I choose to vote for him because I have listened and watched all the videos about him.

As the say talk is cheap but remember even those who doesn't talk and has been ruling Nigerians for decades without any improvement are not in anyway better.

Please Nigerians, Peter Obi is not for Igbos and will never divide Nigeria, off course he will not even have the power to do such, I am begging the Nigerian youths, this is not about where you came from or about your religious beliefs

we are only looking for a way to change the game to benefits the rich and poor. It's only Peter Obi that can statistically explain everything about other countries economy and how they generate income without looking into any pepper.

I don't need to remind you how educated he is and has gone to different countries all over the world. Ask him how he intend to tackle the challenges we are facing today in Nigeria and you will get a perfect answer.

Yes, we might be wrong thinking that Peter Obi is our savior but at the same time we might be right as well. You need to listen and watch this man's videos on Facebook to understand his kind of person. Talk is cheap but remember from the abondance of our heart the mouth speaketh.

Labour Party doesn't have structure and money

In Nigeria people pay to get vote and then collect back their money when they become the president leaving the poor Nigerians to suffer, is that what we want?

Become that structure today and reject being bought with little change that can only help you to suffer for more 8 years.

Finally, feel free to vote for who ever you choose to vote for but I am begging the Nigerian youths to join the movement of Peter Obi because we have seen something different and special about him. With him cost of governance will be reduced, he is education and connected which means he can attract foreign investors in Nigeria which as well means more employments for the youths.

Nigeria can be better again and we need to get it right. It's no longer about party or ethnicity but about whom we see fits to take this country to the next level.

Listen

* PO can never win, but INEC and who ever they are working for are doing anything possible to stop the massive registration of PVC. What are they afraid of? If we can have POS machine in every corner of our house why can't we have PVC registration machine as well. I thought that getting more people involved in the Nigerian politics is a good development but it seems not, they want to keep things the way it used to be, reject it and join the movement.

* PO can never win and yet 80% of politicians now channel their effort to pull him down before things get out of hand. What are they afraid of?

Join this Peter Obi movement and make Nigeria better again. Thanks and good bless Nairaland and Nigerians.
