Notwithstanding your shameful mischief, the FACTS are as follows:

1 The trains are back moving people (REAL PEOPLE, not petrol) and goods. The trains came back to life under GEJ

2 The trains are providing CHEAP and safer transport for the people. People that use the trains get to save atleast 50% of T fare. That means more money in their pockets.

3 The trains have air-conditioned couches and tv screens for entertainment. See the thread below of live blog by Premium Times

4 There is high patronage for the trains. The evidence of this is in the fact that they are usually filled to the brim

5 Despite the imperfections in the train services for now, most people that patronise the train are happy. See the same thread and other links above.

The above does not imply the train services is perfect. The poor services has to do with human capacity issues that will reduce with time. Even the travel time, which is average of 30hrs from Lagos-kano, will be reduced to 24hrs. That is the target for now.

The Lagos-Kano rail has been COMPLETED and commissioned. The govt spent a whopping N24billion to rehabilitate and restore the Lagos-Kano narrow guage rail line after decades of dilapidation.
