greaterlove: like i said earlier if you believe that story then you will believe anything. i am not holding brief for her but you are acting as if you are holding brief for her accusers.
what part of the story is so difficult to bliv?

Is it tht the oil bloc in question isnt worth tht much or tt we now have saints in the Nigerin govt who can neva engage in corruption and agrandise themselves to the detriment of the rest of us or is it tht Dieziani has no vested interest in cornering tht oil bloc or any for tht matter?

Its all so easy to blif because this is so typical of our naija govt and any tag of corruption will easily get a label on them.
Ofcourse she is innocent until proven other wise. But bros nah naija we dey and tht woman is the most powerful woman in this country even fellow ministers fear her.

talktimi: I consider the source of an insult at all times before deciding if I should feel slighted or not, I've travelled round this country well enough and one advice I would like you to use as a watch word is "Never laugh at a people but with them" your initial description of the Ijaw man either true/false was laced with scorn and derision all because you hate just ONE man out of the millions who make up that nationality youve already admitted every ethnic nationality has a collective (negative) profiling attached to them which definitely includes yours. We're trying to stop ethnic bashing on nairaland, please don't stoke any more embers. Thank you
Then you have got a very huge job on your hands.I wish you luck!

xtianh: Now ask yourself this same Question and see how unwise you will be Are we in pre 1999? Do Lagos still generate the same IGR compared to pre 1999? Thanks
Lagos is a city tht has gotten her master plan bastardized over the years by past admos you shuld also take into cognizance the fact tht the insfractructure of the state is over strecthed due to its huge population.
However the state is really making giant strides with the govts attempt to transform it particularly in the area of roads.I knw for sure tht I can give this govt 70% pass mark on the issue of roads in the state.
PoliticsRe: Shameful Look Of Street In Over Hyped Lagos State by ewet: 11:35pm On Apr 26, 2013
SEGAD: And can you compare the revenue generated in 1999 from the one of today. Sincerely PDP and ACN are two side of a coin
And can you also compare the cost of building roads then and now?
PoliticsRe: Shameful Look Of Street In Over Hyped Lagos State by ewet: 8:46pm On Apr 26, 2013
SEGAD: What do you mean by past administration, Tinubu-Fashola have governed Lagos more than 14 years. The same issue i normally have with GEJ supporters. Sincerely, Lagos is over hype. Fashola infrastructural developments can never be compared with Chime in Enugu. i stand to be corrrected
Can you compare Lagos pre 1999 to Lagos of today?

greaterlove: what are you saying? so you believe she could corner 15yrs budget to herself? if u believe that then you will believe anything.
Can you read at all?The money thy were talking abt is the value of the oil bloc she was accused of cornering. You stole a car worth 1million does tht mean you stole 1million.
Are you holding brief for her tht she did not influence the awarding of tht oil bloc without due process.

ocelot2006: My brother, I can't even stand that state. In a thread, I mentioned that I actually lobbied to be posted OUT of Lasgidi because I couldn't stand it. For business meetings, training programs, using the MMIA as a gateway for trips outsides the country, and other commercial activities, then Lasgidi's the place cos it's west africa's ain commercial hub. But live there? HELL NO!! I'll rather stick to Uyo and PHC.
Different strokes for different folks!

Goddex: Some of them are just too daft that they will swallow every mischivious junk from our media hook, line and sinker. Imagine someone believing a very fake story of a Deziani Madueke stealing 52tr. That amount is like Nigeria's budget for 15yrs.
She did not actually steal tht much but the value of the oil block she is bin accused of cornering for herself.
PoliticsRe: FG Needs N921.4bn To Complete 195 Roads by ewet: 5:14pm On Apr 26, 2013
Where are the roads for the SW?

The answer is simple.
1.All you govt officials shuld cut your pay,
2.The President should reduce wastage-food allowance,travelling estacodes,1st ladies house e.t.c
3.Reduce the overbloated civil service
4.Reduce re current expenditure in the budget
5.End corruption
6.employ direct labour for some of the jobs rather than outsourcing all to contractors
7.stop tht armnesty nonsense to those niger delta crooks and BH murderers

Try all this and lets see hw much you will have saved in 6months.

Can all the streets be fixed at once?Lagos has bin experiencing transformation since Fashola got thr.The masterplan of the state suffered tremendiously under past admos and the guy is just tryin to put things in order.

I would like to advice you to guard your comments here but then again, it might just be a waste of time but please try to.
Then his people shuld speak sense into his dumb head!

Gennyz: Jonathan looks lik a man who cannot manage a family, does dis mean in any part of Nigeria, where there is crisis of any sort he wil compensat thm? Look @ Jos millions ar displaced, hundreds ar killd evy now n thn, boko haram killin ppl up n down. Can dis man wake up and offer us basic amenitiz, security n Jobs nt givin out money, while chargin us #10,000 for power evry month meanwhile minimum wage is less dan #18,000 .
What do you expect from an ijaw man all thy knw is spend spend spend no matter how senseless, quite typical of GEJ!

PoliticsRe: Arewa Youths Reject FG’s N5.8bn Compensation For Post-election Violence by ewet: 2:05pm On Apr 26, 2013
taharqa: Jeez! He even answer, still in his ignorance!!

Read d article that is in front of you, guy: the compensatn is going DIRECTLY to d victims of d Post-2011 Election Violence tru d States. Victims like Churches, Mosques, Schools, Houses, Businesses, Palaces, etc burnt; Victims like people who were killd or injured Or who had their livelihood destroyd, including those Corpers. Etc.

This is Comprehensive Compensation (not d Emergency Compensation which many of d Victims hv already receivd); and just as d article indicatd, you need to physically Ascertain the Claims and Extent of d Damages suffered by the Victims if what you are doing is a Comprehensive Compensation Package. That's one of d reasons why it took sm time (2 years) b4 the Evaluation and actual Disbursement was finali concluded; and the more reason why these so-calld 'Arewa Youths' were been REALLY SILLLY in linking the 'delay' to d alleged 2015 Electn of d President, as though the PROCESS startd toady apart from d fact that d said election is still 2 years away.

Nuff said
Bros how to you ascertain the comprehensiveness of this issue. This is just a ploy by GEJ to enrich some people and garner their support. This is a bloody waste of resources.

Tolexander: who is more ignorant between you and i? Read whose comment? Guess you meant the post.

Why most the president compensate the states since the violence was done by their own people. Very obvious the compensation has an hidden motive.
Exactly. Why shuld GEJ continue to waste money senselessly.

onatisi: acn was gradually moving eastward ,they won edo state and they would have won another one or 2 in the se or ss come 2015.instead of merging with cpc ,they should have consolidated their base in the south west by wooing and wining mimiko over to their side .
Dont you remember tht Edo was part of the former western region and the Edo people see affilliate themselves more with the SW tht was why it was easy.

Evry 1 knws Mimiko is a PDP man.

There is no way ACN would have bin able to shed their Ethnic toga if thy did not merge. The CPC is an emerging force in the north and so is APGA in the SE.The ANPP has also got the NE in its grasp.
The merger is the best way to go and tht is the only way to destroy the monster PDP.I support the merger 100% because it will further deepen our democracy and strensten the political space.
The PDP was only so strong and had access to our common wealth because thy prefer a fragmented opposition tht no party would have bin able to match them.If we only had 2 parties from the start PDP wuld have bin long dead.
PoliticsRe: If APC Survives A Year, Dont Call Me Okupe: GEJ Aide Boasts by ewet: 11:50am On Apr 25, 2013
In a frontal assault that suggested that the PDP is wary of the possibilities open to the opposition, Okupe described the APC as a party that is consistently unable to produce a presidential candidate from within its rank and file, saying that for the 2015 election, they are planning to recruit the Speaer of the House, Tambuwal.
Was it the PDP tht made Tambuwal speaker or has Okupe 4gotten how GEJ lost the battle over the speakership of the house.can somebody please remind this attack dog tht it was the ACN tht made Tambuwal speaker against there own stock in Muraino Ajibola and the other lady i dont remember her name now.
The ACN has shown Nigerians how politics shuld be played without ethnic chauvinsm.

Okupe, who also sought partnership with the media, admitted that the Jonathan administration needed help to survive.
“That is the truth. I am not hiding it. There is no government that has been more assaulted in this country.
I have come to see if we can build a platform to help the country and this government.
This is the most clueless govt ever,GEJ is the most unassumming president ever,This is the most corrupt govt ever, this is the most hopeless govt ever.

"They have just formed an abyss; a formless abyss that the Yoruba cannot key into. The Yoruba have always been members of a regional organisation – Action Group (AG), Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN), etc. And in any case, what are the electoral credentials of ACN? How many states have they won that they are boasting?”
The ACN moved from just 1 state to 2 to 3 and now to 6 and did very well in Kogi,Anambra,Akw ibom and even Benue and Adamawa.I even have people in Anambra who still blif Ngige won the last guber election. All these in less than 8 years. If this is not success then what is.GEJ i am sure is quaking in his boots and knows the time is up and he will be booted out come 2015.

“Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Maj-Gen. Mohammadu Buhari are not serious-minded people; they are going round like people dancing in a market place,” he said, defiantly. “I expect that when you post an aggregate of people of that calibre who want to run government, by now they must have a policy statement on power, agriculture and employment and not just talking about PDP leaving.

"Is it by mouth that they will run the nation? These are not serious-minded people. Can someone get your vote by using word of mouth that PDP should leave without a policy?”
What policy statement did GEJ have b4 he bcame president or which one did OBJ have b4 he got the job.Is it not by mouth tht GEJ has bin stopping Boko haram,is it not by mouth tht GEJ has bin fighting corruption.

Shuld thy come out with their manifesto so tht the thiefs in PDP can steal there ideas. My dear the first lesson in a battle is you do not allow your enemy know your plans.

slimghost: The Yorubas would end up losing so much with this merger in place. Truth be told, I don't need an Okupe to tell me that APC is a JOKE! A bunch of expired crooks obsessed with power and determined to grab it at all costs.
And wht is the yoruba nation gaining from the big fraud PDP?
PoliticsRe: If APC Survives A Year, Dont Call Me Okupe: GEJ Aide Boasts by ewet: 11:24am On Apr 25, 2013
tomakint: It is not too difficult to know that APC will fall like a pack of cards in no short distance! Personally, I don't need a Doyin Okupe to tell me that cool
Then there is no hope for naija if the PDP remains the only party on ground. Its not rocket science to understand this.
