TooNoisy: When Nigerian ladies of today say they want a God fearing man, it means three things
1. He is rich 2. He wouldn't beat them up 3. He wouldn't be caught cheating
Shikena Hehe , you got that right ... Compliments madam. Odun a bawa layo ati alafia. |

babygirlfl: I think most Nogerian kids behave like goat because that is how they were brought up. A Nigerian child and an English child refuse to great their parents for example, Nigerian mum gives the child a mad beating while the English woman sends him to a naughty corner. The Nigerian child grows up and gets so used to the beating it does not scare him anymore while the English child is still scared of other type of purnishment he could get. The Nigerian mum tries to beat the child again one day and realises that the beating does not hurt him as much. You hear her say something like 'That pikin na goat. All the flog no dey dwam anything again'. That pickin Na goat oh babygirlfl: Seen after typing my epistle. Lol. |

Mindfulness: I don't know about most kids but some are.
What do you expect of kids who were raised like goats? I call kids that don't listen goats so that term was just for laughs and not to be taken seriously. Every right thinking parents' goal is to raise complete and balanced child to be proud of. |

Mindfulness:
Most Nigerian kids are goats (you talk till you're blue on the face) Entrust a goat alone with strangers and you're on your own. Na real gobe oh. |

Onegai: We cannot keep policing our children, how many eyes do you have? Won't you blink? If you're at work, if you're in the kitchen no? We must change society's perception of abuse and rape, so that if it happens, a couple of moronic university boys would not. laugh about it when they hear later on. They will be furious. This is my problem. |
Family › Re: On The Sugabelly Rape Allegations by Ewuro4: 9:58am On Nov 29, 2015 |
Mindfulness: Exchange secondary school students are minors who are not allowed to live alone. They live in host families. These host families have children of the same age too and their kids visit the family of their host child a year later.
These programs are extremely expensive and not everyone can afford it. High school students abroad alone ?? Are these Nigerians if I may ask? |

Lol... lemme just keep my opinion to myself before una call me wicked Not that. Just condemning the horrid act. Have you read the blog? |

tearoses: Sis Miiiii
I personally think that 12am is too late especially for a girl On a one off maybe It also depends on how the child has been brought up and the child him/herself Some kids are follow follow kids so this kind of kid needs to be checked more often as they have a tendency to derail Kids also tend to copy what their parents do If I am not out till midnight, then what are you doing out till midnight? Lets not forget that its more dangerous at night When my kid goes out, I don't sleep until he comes back Hmm I have an older friend whose daughter's curfew is 12am since jnr high (grd10/ss1) , I recalled, her mom was very well acquainted with her peers' parents as well and she has a phone on her 24/7 whenever she needed to spend the night at theirs. They(friends) also on many occasions had sleepover at hers too. she's currently studying Engineering in another province. Level headed kid and very prudent , she barely touched her student loan because she's been on numerous scholarships since her first year. Very impressive. And her parents are what we call antisocial so I don't know where she got her social butterfly trait from. That was why I said so sis. But you're right some kids are follow follow and needed to be checked like a hawk. Ojo iku lojo isinmi Loro awon omo ode yi |

AtheistD: I disagree with your post. According to the blog, even if he waited 10 yrs and committed those acts he would have still committed rape. The acts she mentioned are clearly rape regardless of age.
The dude is a rapist. Very true That mofo passed the girl around like a piece of toast , left her helpless and weak, though she fought back but ofcourse they were stronger. I threw up in my mouth reading that piece. Scary is an understatement. |

Mindfulness: We shouldn't panic either. Millions of young girls spend a year abroad as exchange students and live with host families far away from home and nothing happens . Who told you that? Just because most of these international students shtum up doesn't necessarily mean nothing happened during their stay. But ofcourse there's always an exception to every rule. Sending a young kid abroad alone is not the best option IMO. Africans parents should set their priorities straight. |
Family › Re: The Family Section Fun Room!! by Ewuro4: 9:01am On Nov 29, 2015 |
My mind is disturbed . Being mom of a girl child... How much care/love is enough. If you do too much , you're being labelled an helicopter parent. If you cut them slack, you're an aśshole parent coz 12am IMO is not bad a curfew for a 17yr old. What really prompt these new generation girls run after these older men for comfort and security besides money? What are they looking for? Tearoses , sis we thank God and you? Happy Holidays! |

Kimoni:
arrhhhhh ewuro, babygirl has moved on o, no need asking her any questions
It's just that after every moving on statement, she must leave some bitter friendly statements for that moniker she fought months back But in actual fact, she has moved on. Who says she hasn't?
Hehehehehe, I really don't blame her, Na our resident Bamaiyi aka chief architect I blame. I am sure the serpent is having a good laugh right now. Mission accomplished for today let the goon continue on her trail. One day, one day, monkey go go market .... Consigned. Timbuktou: Being a man doesn't mean risking your life unnecessarily. If that guy was walking on that side, I'm sure he had a damn good reason. The woman could be a mere date or a colleague. Why would I want to die for a woman I'm not related to? Even that one sef na immediate family I fit risk my life for. Thank you. *waiting patiently for that expo* |

babygirlfl: Get out of my head. Sweetheart, you have just put everything I have in mind in words. That alternate monica keeps mentioning and attacking me. Yet, I have not accused anybody of sending them to me. I just ignore and allow whoever it is fool his or herself. I have not seen anybody attack that Monica.
But people find it ok to attack us for not telling off whatever Monica is attacking them
I keep quiet a lot of the time because it's clear someone is so pained and bitter over what I can't even remember. I have moved on. Whoever wants to remain bitter can stay there but kindly learn to suffer in the misery you have created for yourself and leave me out of it. What people? The guys or Antifeminists? Nobody is attacking you or anyone because of alternate monikers as far as I'm conserned and I think you're overreacting. You know , I got to really notice you after Francistony alluded your name against mine to stir a fight on this same thread, I barely read your posts. Honest to God. So decided to break the ice to really know what's up with real you and So far it's been good. I heard you & Kimoni had a brawl and never got to know the depth of it. So can't say much about that. People fight so no biggie. It's up to both parties to decide if resolution is reasonable or worth it. Alternate monikers are very obvious who's operating them so most posters here be fooling themselves if they outrightly claim otherwise coz It reflects in their behaviour & random cold shoulders to certain posters. I've had numerous fights with peeps on here, made up with some, some I tried but the thought of their depth at going for the jugular during those fights says a lot about their intent and opinions about my person, so why waste time on obviously jealous folks? |

Timbuktou: That's sexism jor. See this man. richlevel: Well courtesy demands that. Even if a woman does not care about it every man must learn to do the right thing. A man is not a man just because of what is between his two legs alone. Gentle authority makes a man in a relationship. Tim come on and be a man. Why my life be expendable sef?
