smileysmiley:'Expected' by who? This is one of the low-life excuses these lot carry around to save face and jump into marriage then cry foul when those men treat them like trash. Who send them message? Don't they have brain of their own to make their own decisions?? Please stop preaching tu-sh, we don't want new generations thinking it's true. |
LordReed:Only 2 episodes gone, found out when I checked my dvr last week , gosh! every scene is a nail-biter. Apparently some of us are almighty Marvel comic characters.Obviously ![]() |
paullo240:It depends on your skin type. Baby lotions are basically for suppleness of baby's soft skin. So that shouldn't be a problem. You don't plan on applying that on your face do you? |
YourCoffin:Sorry bro.. Sad but true , life's a battle as a whole. There're constant power plays , competitors , obstacles, or just random beefers whom loathe at your happiness. You just don't sit there, you FIGHT. (not literally ) Except you enjoy your status quo and don't have the desire to move up in life. Then no worries. Hope you realize I'm not only making reference to marriage alone. |

No excuses for unacceptable behaviour against humanity. Any man/woman that failed to verberlly express themselves whenever they are frustrated needs serious help before they claim an innocent life. Inflicting pain on another human being for ANY reason whatsoever is NOT ACCEPTABLE and should be rightfully dealt with. |
Move over, Haley Joel Osment — you’re not the only one seeing dead people. A woman showed up to her own funeral to confront her husband after he hired hitmen to kill her while she was visiting her home country of Burundi. According to the jaw-dropping story, Noela Rukundo and her husband had to travel from their adopted home of Australia after a family tragedy — but only one of them was supposed to return. Noela’s husband, Balenga Kalala, hired several gang members to kidnap and kill his wife, whom he suspected of infidelity. Balenga set up his wife to be kidnapped after the family funeral by advising her to step outside for fresh air as she was still distraught over the death of her step-mother. That’s when the mother of eight was abducted and taken to an abandoned building and tied to a chair. When her kidnappers told her what happened and asked why her husband would want her dead, she was in total disbelief — until the men made her listen to her hubby say “kill her” over the phone. Luckily for Noela, the men did not believe in killing a woman and were also acquainted with her brother. So, after three days, the kidnappers turned her loose, but not without a treasure trove of evidence against her husband, including the $7,000 payment for her death and recorded conversations orchestrating the hit. “We just want you to go back, to tell other stupid women like you what happened,” the men told her. With the help of her pastor in Australia, Noela was able to quietly re-enter the country and stay with a neighbor until the perfect opportunity presented itself: her funeral. As mourning guests left the home she used to shared with her husband, Noela approached him and said, “Surprise! I’m still alive!.” “Is it my eyes?” the terrified husband asked. “Is it a ghost?” He then started screaming and asked for his wife’s forgiveness. Though he initially denied having any connection to the plot, Balanga eventually confessed to hiring the men to kill his wife. He has since been arrested and sentenced to nine years in prison for incitement to murder. Credit:Washington post.

Ta Lon fe fi Jo ( who dem wan take am resemble , me or dem papa?) Definitely not these wide-eyed-over achieving ones we are raising now... Times have changed , give another decade and these ye ye bad examples to wipe off the rader for good. I always say everyone's environment and experience shapes their thinking and perception in life. Though we've seen girls from hardworking moms practice money-mongering but always seems to be in minority. You barely see kids whose parents aren't goody two shoes and had good upbringing lax around in guise of long thro-ating. Time , Time... Can't wait! |
Timbuktou:Happy New year bro... How's little Tim doing? Hmm... My schedule is a total disaster. I'm literally spent! But I won't give in till I figure it out my way out this mess. Pray for me Tim , I need it. |

Aunty Bebe thanks for sharing this and giving us another life lesson to learn. I work in a Palative Unit where terminally ill patients are being comforted till their last day . So I get it. But like Tearoses emphasized, it's a culture thing, I tried to let people understand this fact but we have a long way to go. I read about a UK doctor this morning, that was fired because he kept referring his terminally ill patients to TB Joshua for 'permanent healing' What they don't understand is that when Death comes knocking , there's no going back, fact but very true. May God help us all. bebe2:That is my request- Cremation. It has nothing to do with land shortage. Then spread my ashes to ogunpa river so my enemies can sniff it in their brains. Hehe hehe ![]() |
bebe2:We dey my dear, Na work and family ohh , long time indeed ![]() |
reminds me of Jennykadry ![]() By the way, Never heard of state of origin, only country of birth (Passport , health cards, Credit card applications, kids birth certificates) Arguing over an oblivious q is synonymous to hitting a non existent piñata, blindfolded ![]() |
bebe2: Some Nigerians here are running their mouth during a discourse about another Nigerian Family's son who chose to play for Canada instead of Nigeria. I asked them, was it Nigerian government that trained him? Yeye folks, funny they'll do exactly same if in their shoes. How are you and fam Aunty bebe.. |
TV01:I agree with this ^^ submission. Totally You're on point about Character and commitment. In addition, going into relationship without zilch plans and financial security in this day and age is setting oneself for a long term misery. So that part when he told his wife never to invite the guest speaker to their relationship conferences again , beats me. Comparing all relationships to his is somewhat intimidating and not fair to women who for the right reasons- looking out for their future. Anyway nuff said... A serious man should at all points in a relationship be proactive in - appropriately and a timely manner - articulating what his plans and vision are for his family, starting with his courtship and weddingThat^ is the koko... I won't implore any right thinking lady to outrightly marry any man in Bamiloye's 1980s status, who has no cogent future plans in line besides Drama. I didn't read the Vision part... Gotta ask TV , did you a have a vision about Mrs prior to proposal ? ...and I'm nothing like this guy. I didn't employ "jim-jim brother" style or false piety to win mamas heart. I just presented myself, gave her a taster, and asked if she wanted to be courtedYou're nothing like him coz he was poor. You were gainfully employed and your fan head wasn't attached to your double bed. Like I said, posh-er version and more exposed brother (Kirk Franklin-like). There goes the bravado again... which one is 'Jim-Jim brother style'.... Before nko. Superior value mating proposition? Hahah enu ni bi ajakara. Weak kneed kor. ![]() How many ripe UK babe way them eye don tear pass ear, go marry a dude living in a single room? By the way did you share a flat then or a bachelors suite? ***** As you rightly observed , Madam is an epitome of beauty and elegance. I wish them well and use their marriage success as a point of contact to mine. ![]() |
