Its Thunder's series to lose. With Chandler sidelined, I think the Mavs will fold ultimately Plus Thunder are hungry - who would believe Curry wins a ring before Westbrook .
Curry's a genius.

Lowry's killing it tonight.

All these signs and OP is still asking if this is normal? Anyhow, I hear people say that women easily dump guys who treat them well and stick to the ones that treat them like trash. OP is proving it to be true
@bold , That's what my people call "eran iya" (penchant for punishment).

As much as I clamour for Women's Financial independence like my life depend on it, I loathe self centred/greedy men like a plaque. May as well redefine his role before signing the dotted lines or keep it moving . Useless thing lipsrsealed

Oga go do your homework, find distributors in UK, Canada & US. People prefers locally made food than Chinese store bought.

So, for the unmarried women still dating and courting remember; just before that Vulva swells in a moist readiness, just before you part those thighs and let a man in , if it doesn't all end in marriage, honesty demands that you must tell your would be husband about it all just before you get to the altar.

Where are your parents? Agh... Lord have mercy. I'm sorry but is your mother alive? How on God's green earth can a mother release her daughter to move in with a man without proper marriage rights, even just introduction and court marriage? This saddens my heart. So you're slaving your postpartum body (that needs pampering itself) away for opportunistic grown azz folks that needs to borrow themselves a brain?

No Matter how hard you try to garnish yourself in every possible ridiculous ways FOR acceptance to your 'inlaws' , one fact remains you're still a desperate baby mama willing to sell herself short for a ring.

This ridiculous trend has to change.

A 5yr old is already a school ager I believe? Put him in school already.

Put your Resumes out for a job if you have formal education & past experience.

If you have no past experience, start with volunteering.

Learn a skill (Sewing, Hair , Auto-mechanic) of choice.
FamilyRe: Good Women Exist by Ewuro4: 3:14am On Apr 07, 2016
aforti:
Almost everyone has a demon inside them, they just need the right stimuli to ptobok that dekon, although some people have mastered ways of taming their demons. That being said everyone has a good on the they just need the right atmosphere to fully express that good. The measure of ones character as good or bad is totally subjective to the observer. What you term bad could be someone's ideal.
Great submission.

Taming one's Demons is what people call a ticking time bomb. Humans need to learn the art of letting out their true emotions and let go of societal perception. Yes taming ones bad side is perfect for the optics but bad for your wellness.
Recently talking about breathing yoga with a friend as a way of letting off steam from everyday stess and dealing with life difficulties (such as dealing with some everyday & inavoidable and irrational people scattered on this God's green earth).

And what is bad to you may be my best option. So get that. Variety is the spice of Life.

And I so agree with Byvan03 , from marital perspective ; behind a virtuous woman is always a great and understanding man.

When a good person ( as majorly portrayed) is pushed to the wall, then you have a beast, hopefully these same people will defend her character to strangers then.

but that's not my business coz I won't take shait from anyone and it doesnt matter what strangers think. Children are watching and laying good example instead of embedding the art of being a doormat is a good option. Especially in this day and age.

Another angle is ; The problem we have as humans is what society think and how our character is portrayed. I attended a seminar and read inspirational books, but positivity seems to be the key ingredient and common attribute of bring a GOOD PERSON inside and out. what really matter is how you feel about yourself as human. Your positive self will automatically attract people's acceptance and approval of your character. People will get to know the real you through your positiveness. That's just it. Trying TOO hard is just a facade and fake.

That's good.bottomline just as there are no perfect persons there are no perfect parents. Parents raise their kids differently based on what they perceive as their reality. How about just telling them to do chores because it's a way of life? When you use something, you clean after yourself. smiley

Pocket money is different from getting paid to clean after yourself. Otherwise we should also pay them for doing homework, going to school and sleeping. gringrin

I am good, yeah you have been MIA lately. You good? smiley
Different strokes my dear smiley

As a renowned Helicopter parent(kids call me that undecided) , I did what I had to do at the time. (I used to find it intrusive, utterly offensive & annoying , when other parents tell you how to raise your kids right, especially when noone is perturbed) , I saw it as a phase which was fun IMO. Kids used their savings on vacations and all that.

But you're right in your submission though. They must understand the essence of responsibility. Really , who wants to raise a couch potato brat considering the present world where accountability supasses everything else?

I'm great sweetheart, hope all is good in your end? smiley

I see it that way too, the mum is always traveling. She has spent most of her life in USA. Maybe that's where she got the idea.
So to be clear , were you rewarded for chores? Are you condemning your mom's parenting skill?

If you do, no do whahala

FamilyRe: Do You Support Parents Paying Their Children To Do House Chores? by Ewuro4: 9:11am On Apr 04, 2016
nothing really... I've to admit, did that for a long time coz I read it on different parenting blog as a great way to encourage children to start doing chores from early stages of life. (Rewards)

I still did that to ingrain chore doing into them until they're 6, then changed its cause & we call it 'pocket money' (weekly) which every child is entitled to.

You have to do your chores Abeg. We all have a part to play in a family.

This post was triggered by what a lady posted about a banker earlier and how he was been stingy..... Ladies!!! I really don't like the manner at which 98% of NL guys talk about our love for money. I think we need to start making things right,we shouldn't be too dependent on a guy. We should let them feel that whatever they do is a bonus.. When a man spends on you,ts a great feeling but when you spend on yourself babe,,,ts a boss feeling.... #teamnoliabilitytoaman#bosslady#kingofqueens#

i have an eight years old daughter that doesn't eat most of the food we cook like porridge, semo, amala, beans, etc she only eat selected food like rice or noodles and some weak food like cereals and it's also problem for my wife cooking her food seperately.what surprise me is her brother we both raise together eat all the meals we prepare.pls how can we make her eat all these food?
Which one be 'weak food' ? Rice No be food?(as long as you put dodo and chicken/meat) cereals are made from cornmeal , noodles from drum semolina unless she's celiac (gluten free- which I doubt coz she eats rice).

Welcome to my world

Change too, just start Ignoring him totally, in fact just live as Co tenants. And from your write up it seems he is not doing well financially and your still young so please the second option is leaving that marriage before you get pregnant
In Baba Oyo's style :

"Igi Da Eye FO"

Lawd help us from DIE-VORCE proponents.. Amin oh

OP.. Your husband isn't superhuman, he did what he had to to wife you and that's the mistake on his part; putting up his A game throughout your coutship without showing you his vulnerability/weakness. No offence but maybe the dude's still stuck with the wedding expenses hence his financial difficulties.
Since he's not being disrespectful, I'm gonna tell you to please calm down and talk to him. If he doesn't wanna hear it, give him space, and go back again when his face is fanimorous. You're still on the early phase of your Union and he's gonna have some hard time adjusting to some things , financially especially. This is not new.

Marriage is not ALL bed of roses. There ups and downs and unnecessary tantrums from your partner that'll struck your imagination like 'how the hell did we get here' moments.

Take care my dear.
