"A Time for Sober Reflection"

They say Saraki's TRIAL is a witch hunt.
Dasuki's TRIAL is a retaliation.
Dokpesi's TRIAL is opposition.
But they do not say they are innocent.
They do not say the trial is not fair.
They say there are many other thieves,
So they say wait & catch others first!!!

A child will die in about a 1000 homes today because it lacks access to primary health care. Someone is driving a car built from looted funds allocated to Primary Health Care;

A car will hit a pothole and cause grief to families because someone is living in a mansion built from looted funds meant for road projects;

A child will go hungry to bed, a father helpless a mother tired and in anguish because someone is wearing *a custom-made designer watch* bought with their salaries.

Someone spent 5 hours searching for fuel today, will go home to darkness because someone wanted a mansion in France, London and New York and used money meant to expand refining capacity, increase power, etc.

Many will die from treatable ailments because someone imported chalk as medicines. Because someone wanted to fly to the U.K. for cosmetic surgery, he approved the chalk to be sold in our chemists.

Many will drop out of school for ₦5000 because someone wanted their own children to attend Harvard and stole the funds for education of Nigerian children to make it happen.

Corruption is the reason for the rape of young hawkers who are forced on to the streets by hardship, to make a living for their cash strapped families.

Many families are dislocated & many are now refugees in their own country and in neighbouring nations because someone did not buy guns and ammunition for the army. Someone bought fake blades for helicopters, and someone wanted to buy mansions for his sons!!!;

How many lost their lives to failed banks?
How many emigrated?
How many received a racial slur because someone took their future in their native nation?
░ Why are we kind to those who stole destinies but merciless to those who took only a minute?

Save the future of our dear nation. It's high time we let people know the true enemies of this nation.

Politics / Re: 20 Things Nigerians May Experience In 2016 Under Buhari’s Govt, By Fayose by exactly77(m): 2:35pm On Dec 23, 2015
robosky02:

Barely nine days into the new year, Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has stated 20 things Nigerians should expect to happen under the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government in 2016.

In a statement personally signed by Fayose, yesterday, he said: “Fellow Nigerians, I want you to take note of the followings that will unavoidably happen under the Buhari-led government in 2016.”

1. Workers Strike: There will be so much industrial unrest, especially in the first quarter of the year.

2. Subsidy: There will be removal of fuel subsidy and petrol (PMS) will sell over and above N100/litre, leaving the masses in more serious hardship. Product will not be available and long queue in petrol stations will persist throughout the first quarter of 2016 and beyond.

3. Electricity: Power generation will drop to the lowest ebb. Still, Federal Government will increase tariff in 2016.

4. Unemployment: Millions of jobs will be lost in 2016 as against the three million jobs promised by the APC yearly. Most States and Federal Government will retrench workers as evident in the over 2,000 Federal University workers already sacked.

5. Economic Policy: Most private owned middle-class businesses will fold up because of bad economic policies of the Buhari-led government.

6. Devaluation: The Naira will continue to have a free fall which will take it to as low as N320 to one Dollar.

7. Economy: The Buhari-led FG will have no solution to country’s economic problems.

8. Security: Boko Haram will keep spreading and the Shiite Muslims will get more emboldened.

9. Human Rights: Penchant for dictatorship will rise with rampant human rights abuses and disobedience to court orders.

10. Anti-Corruption: Insincerity in the fight against corruption will continue and the fight will not only be selective and political, but targeted more at Southerners.

11. Elections: Attempt to forcefully control any of the South South States of Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Bayelsa by the APC will lead to unprecedented deaths.

12. Economy: Crude oil price will fall to below and about $30 per barrel.

13. Anti-Press Laws: The masses, especially men of the media profession will rise against the FG’s plot to deny Nigerians of their rights to freedom of expression. There will wide condemnations by Nigerians and the International community against President Buhari’s human rights abuses and disobedience to court orders.

14. Polity: Renewed efforts will be made to remove Senator Bukola Saraki as the Senate President; this will not only fail, but will heat the polity.

15. Hardships: Nigerians will experience more hardships. The President himself attested to this (THE SUN newspaper Tuesday, December 15, 2015). This obviously negates the change Nigerians voted for.

16. Elections: Plot by the APC to take control of at least one South South State will lead to death of many people. Particularly, rerun elections in Rivers and Akwa-Ibom States will cause many deaths.

17. Corruption: Halliburton scam may be revisited in 2016.

19. Kogi State: Court will sack Governor-Elect, Yahaya Bello.
Bayelsa State: Governor Seriake Dickson will win the supplementary election.
Taraba State: Governor Darius Ishaku will be victorious at the Court.

20. Politics: There will be subtle political alignment and realignment before the end of the year ahead of 2019 elections.

These shall not be In Jesus name. This budget will be so successful that Nigerians in a long while, will be begin to feel the benefits of good governance. God will strengthen the hands if the president and his team to accomplish this task.

Concerning this budget I declare, that it shall not be by power nor by might but by the spirit if the living God and every great mountain that stands before this administration as before Zerubabbel now becomes a plain in Jesus name.

The zeal of the Lord will accomplish this.

Fellow country men. Don't let hate blind you from seeing the trap the enemy is setting for us. God forbid but if the government fails, it is the masses (you and I) that will suffer. And the devil knows that there's power in the tongue of men. By getting us to speak negatively (in the name of objectivity, but really out of hate), we seal our own doom. A doom we and our children will have to face. It is by the blessing of the righteous that a nation is exalted.

If you feel so bad about the nation, just keep quiet and mutter a prayer under your breath.

God bless Nigeria. I will eat the fruit of a new Nigeria soon. My children will lavish in it.

DONSMITH123:
Seeks international community’s help
Says APC has failed to implement campaign promises

By Henry Umoru

ABUJA — The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, yesterday drew the attention of the international community to what it described as increasingly fascist inclination of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

The party’s assertion in a communiqué issued at the end of a Special National Conference in Abuja, yesterday, came as senior PDP chieftains mocked the ruling APC administration for not being able to implement one of its campaign promises.

They also accused a serving APC governor and party chieftain of colluding to milk the treasury of N25 billion through implementation of the Treasury Single Account, TSA.

PDP officials, led by the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu; acting national chairman, Prince Uche Secondus; PDP governors, led by Dr. Segun Mimiko; senators, led by Senator Godswill Akpabio; House of Representatives minority leader, Leo Ogor, all took turns to deride the APC administration, enumerating campaign promises they said the administration had failed to implement.

They also alleged a gradual emergence of dictatorship characterised by impunity, victimisation of opposition elements and the emasculation of the judiciary.

The event was the one-day national conference organised by the PDP, yesterday, in Abuja with the theme, “PDP and the Sustenance of Democratic Ideals in Nigeria,’, where the party also set March 2016 as its national convention to change its national officers.

Speaking earlier, Secondus noted that the APC had failed, saying the party had yet to implement a single of all its election promises.

Secondus also urged the Senate to carry out a proper investigation into the alleged payment of N25 billion as commission to a company on account of the implementation of the TSA.

Senator Ekweremadu, the highest elected official in the Federal Government, while applauding the unity of the Senate as an institution in supporting the Federal Government, irrespective of partisan hues, however, said he was at the conference as a proud member of the PDP.

Ekweremadu enumerated some of the campaign promises of the APC, adding that none of them had been actualised.

The Deputy President of the Senate also enjoined the media and Civil Society Organizations to partner the PDP to hold the APC accountable and preserve democratic ideals.

Also speaking, PDP BoT Acting Chairman, Bello Mohammed, who disagreed with those apologetic of the party’s 16 years in leadership, said there was no reason for PDP to apologise to Nigerians because the party had been vindicated, having laid the foundation, adding that the APC had failed in its promises to Nigerians.

Also in his remarks, Governor Mimiko of Ondo State who spoke for present and former PDP governors, urged President Buhari to be fair to all Nigerians, irrespective of party affiliation by conducting free and fair elections in Bayelsa and Kogi states as well as release the bailout funds for Kogi State.

Locate the nearest office of the National Population Commission

Be sure to have information on Date of birth, state, town, LGA of birth, parents name (including mom's maiden name).

Go with a dapper passport photograph

Be ready to pay some money. Can't remember the exact amount. not too much sha.

Come back the next day to collect it. When going to collect, make sure to hold something (tip) for the government workers. They will ask for it. They also have this mentality that everyone who comes for birth attestation is traveling out (are you?). Lol.

Please don't laminate it! Foreign embassies won't accept it.

Be blessed.

Our senate president is been fought by men with extreme power and influence.

What the senators are doing is to try to come together and force an alliance that is strong enough to withstand the strong force against our senate President.

If the strong force succeed that will be the end for saraki but if he succeed with the help of the senators then a new saraki will emerge with much influence to even seat as the next president.

The politics is about the next president 2019

Our Senate President indeed. That man has a rebellious spirit. He did it with his dad and got away. His cup is now full. There's a new heavenly over Nigeria. Such extreme selfishness can no longer thrive!
