I've wondered what can be done to change some of our traditions in Igboland, especially the ones surrounding death. The burial of loved ones had become tantamount to exploitation and tearing apart of bereaved persons. Things need to change, and we all must come together to let go of the things that entangles us.

WHY? Are you suggesting that in 2015, no elections should be conducted, but an imposition of a non-Igbo as governor? Or if elections are done, it should be a facade, and not based on merit?

I believe that Edwin Clark's intentions are not sincere. This is a case of personal vendetta, try not to get yourself carried along in it. He's only out there to get his revenge on Uduaghan, and not necessarily interested in good fortunes of the state.

Even if he has any concrete evidence against Uduaghan why he's not a good governor, and yet his Poverty Development Party members are frustrating his plans to kick Uduaghan out, why cant he instead rally people around considering the icon image he enjoys in the state to vote in the right person he feels will make a more better governor in the state?

I think what Clark has against the former governor is more of a personality clash(which i feel may have resulted from the ex-gov not granting certain selfish privileges to Clark, never trust these politricksters), and as such faulting the ex-gov on the grounds of inefficiency would have commanded more sincerity on his part.

To label anyone a crook before a court of law does so will be presumptous and naive, to say the least. The last time i checked, I dont think anybody has appointed Clark to be in charge of fighting crooks or so-called thieves, neither is he a member of the police force nor the EFCC.

I repeat, it doesn't matter if GJ likes Uduaghan or not(ofcourse, people hate him while some dont) what counts is what happens at the polls. If the people of Delta state, under free and fair elections, re-elects Uduaghan, so be it.

As it stands, no court of law has convicted this man, and i want to view him as the law sees him-an innocent man who is free to vie for any political office in Nigeria.

I think Edwin Clark is really becoming too big for his boots. He is just one person and should stop trying to speak for everybody.

The only way to stop Uduaghan is by voting him out at the polls. This habit of resorting to bullying is totally uncalled for.

Delta state belongs to the entire people of Delta state, and not to any individual.
