@Nwaka77 You seem to be getting this guy wrong. Read his post very well. He has no problem with where his girlfriend is from. It's just that the way people around him talk negatively about the girl is what got him worried. I heard such rumours too myself. Just didn't bother because i've never been interested in one. You cant just ignore such things. You need to investigate before you put yourself into something you dont understand. |
These's a little bit of Becomrich in everyone of us. ![]() |
This looks like an old news. Is it not the same amendment to the electoral act that the NASS threw out? First Poster. where is your link to this news? |
lol. Jarus, You such a nice guy. Not only do you moderate, you also do the humanitarian job of refering depressed people to see a doctor. A real brother's keeper, to say the least. |
alj harem:True? The SW are a big consumer of your tomatoes. Where are you going to dump your tomatoes if the SW goes? |
The students of Mr. Becomrich just keeps increasing by the day. ![]() Mr. Barzini, Alj harem, calid, and counting. You guys have been 'wonderfully inspired'. keep coming ![]() |
chyz:The 'italian' thinks the Niger Delta is composed of his father's compound only. ![]() Looks like someone who is venting his anger of failing Geography class on NL to me ![]() |
People should learn to distinguish between a party's primary elections and the general elections. These two are not the same level playing field. The delegates are usually influenced by so many factors that may be unfathomable by the average electorate. The thought of writing Atiku off is naive to say the least(I'm neither an advocate of Atiku nor of Jonathan). Whichever of the aspirants gets it right with the convention delegates as a result of hardwork and good persuasion will surely emerge as the party's flagbearer. Numerous instances in the past, even in Nigeria, have shown that having the popular votes does not always translates into victory in a poll. |
The North promised to bring forward this consensus candidate of theirs last friday. This is making it the 3rd friday they have promised, and yet failed to come out with something. Are they conceding defeat already? |
^^ ![]() wishful thinking. |
DapoBear:Very honest comment. |
Abagworo:The Nigerian government short-changed us by creating fewer L.G.As in the SE. The more L.G.A you have the more allocation you recieve. Our leaders should have spoken against this on the ground that L.G.As should not be based on land mass, but on population. Under normal circumstances, the SE is supposed to have the highest number of local governments in Nigeria due to it's densely populated geography. |
chyz:Amen. These rabbits should just leave. Niger will be more than accommodating. |
Beaf:Can you please explain to me the correlation between Chima Orlu and Justin Malcolm Umejesi? |
alj harem:What is wrong with this Northern rabbit. |
Beaf:From Chima Orlu to Justin Malcolm Umejesi, Henry Okah is just taking you guys for a ride. He spews out whatever concocted name comes to his memory. |
What Ezeuche is trying to say is that folks are fond of associating Igbo names with crimes, and this is likely one of them. Facebook that name(if it's even not a fictitious name) you'll find that it belongs to somebody who once lived in Ubima, PH, and likely an Ikwerre. So personally i dont care WTF Chima Orlu is, he belongs to one of those who say they are not Igbo, which is fine by me. |
What you can do is search for 'igbira' topics here to see what people have written about them in the past. Like i told you earlier, you should have posted this in culture. |
^^ I also grew up in Lagos. I went to primary and secondary with many of them. They usually have some hoods they call 'abule igbira'. I've never dated one myself, but my friend did. The girl wanted to marry early, so she had another guy who she later married. They are usually muslims, except few that may be christians. Like i told you, they are very fetish. But it depends where your girl grew up, she might be different and nice. You need to go out with her for at least 6 months to know her well, then you can decide to keep or discontinue. Dont allow people to confuse you, she might be good.(i'm sure she's Yoruba-speaking, many of them are). |
Andre Uweh:Let's hope that Jonathan wins the PDP primaries. |
Andre Uweh:The IPF is comprised of former Vice President Dr Alex Ekwueme, former Governor of old Anambra State Chief Jim Nwobodo, former Senate President Ken Nnamani and former CBN Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo, and others. The IPF never claimed to be speaking on behalf of Ndigbo. They are just one of the many Igbo pressure groups who are coming up with different political options that could benefit Ndigbo. My problem with the Ohaneze's endorsement is that i dont understand how this option will lead to having an Igbo presidency. The statement made by Uwechue that Jonathan cannot be sworn in thrice does not hold water. Igbo may not produce a president in 2015, but i want to see maneuvers that will make it a reality in the nearest future. |
sunch:Like i told you before, they are very similar to Yoruba women. In fact, if you meet some, you instantly take them for Yoruba women, except they tell you. So in case you are into one right now, the plus and minus of Yoruba women applies to them. But i think they are slightly more fetish. |
Andre, I understand your point. But why did Uwechue not make public that negotiations he had with the Ijaw Political Forum? I'm really not bothered who the Ohaneze president personally supports. As a person, he is entitled to that. When the Igbo Political Forum held negotiations with the North, their terms and agreement were publicly known and signed(which Uwechue disapproved of on the grounds that he was not contacted). My question still remains: What did the Ijaws promised that will lead to the actualization of our political vision as Ndigbo? If there was any, was it's terms clearly spelt out, knowing the nature of the Ijaws? |
seanet02:IBB conducted a free and fair primary election which Shehu Yaradua(older brother of Umar Yaradua) won. Abiola bribed IBB, his partner-in-looting, to cancel it. That was why the primaries was done twice. |
I had reasons to believe that theAs much as i respect Ralph Uwechue as an elder, i think it's time for him to honorably step down as the president of Ohaneze. Igbo deserve better than this. (I'll take my time to study his role in the war efforts where i learnt that he contributed to the sabotage of Biafra). I think this move of endorsing Jonathan, selfishly inspired by Ralph Uwechue, was not done with Igbo interests at heart, but was carried out to avenge an earlier communique signed by the Igbo Political Forum. This is not good enough reason. What is at stake is Igbo interest which is an Igbo presidency. This is more important than any personality clashes that the Ohaneze president may have with his colleagues. Now my questions are: (1) What is the sense in endorsing an aspirant even before his party picks him as their flagbearer? (2) What if Johny Boy loses the primaries, and what happens to the supposedly 'Igbo' fake endorsement? I'm beginning to doubt if Ralph Uwechue is a true Igbo man. |
rhymz:It is glaring that the problem of these bunch of folks here is a case of vendetta, which is fine by me and nobody cares. It is this idea of cowing others by direct threats and intimidation, while at the same time, trying to speak for everybody really baffles my imagination. This politics of do-or-die mentality that has somehow found it's way in the SW must be nipped in the bud. |
Ileke-IdI:Very smart girl! Clap for yourself. Now i know that ezeuche has eyes for what is good. |
