You don’t understand the structure of Nigeria very well. The northerners are in firm control as long as they have the highest number of delegates in all parties.

The north gives power to who it wants.

Except we adopt a system where each political zone has an equal number of delegates and use the US electoral college system, no southerner stands a chance without a consensus to the South as the case of 1999.
