Thanks for the enlightenment. God bless you. Kingofmykingdom: Not possible to get a truck job from Nigeria. Find your way to US and I promise you will make it as a female CDL driver. Women are taking over and if you want to drive a truck in US, Go and learn how to dock or back a trailer and when you finally arrive here , you will just learn the basics. Trucks drivers earns as little as $1500 every Friday and high as $3000. Home every day and can do OTR. |

Please is it possible to get the job from Nigeria? Can a female be allowed to drive truck in America? Kingofmykingdom: Go for truck driving and I can hire you as a driver and fresh out of school I will be paying you 0.45 cpm loaded or unloaded and 3000 miles weekly. If I sponsor your school I will pay you 0.35 cpm and you will work for me for 2 years. I have health benefits, 401k matching, PTO, SPL and tuition reimbursement.
Nigerian truck experience is different from US experience. There things you need to know here that you don’t know in Nigeria. The DeF system, 5th wheel, spreading of axles and how to drive during winter, following the ELD and traffic signs, weigh stations and how to spread your weight. Remember each loaded FTL is 80,000lbs. And how to use the Air ride system
I will advise you to learn how to drive it in Nigeria, come over here and enroll in a 3 weeks school to learn and write the exam then get your CDL and work briefly for major carriers like CR England, Jb hunt and others. It will cost you atleast $5k to enroll and get your CDL.
Truck drivers earn atleast $1800 W2 weekly |

Nice writeup. Japa is the sure way right now. IbeOkehie: I don't CLAIM to live in the USA. I'm posting with my real name so no CLAIM there. And you are trying to discourage potential migrants.
Nigeria today is a terrible country to live or visit. That's for the vast majority of people, including the very rich. That's not gullibility it's reality. I know people in the oil & gas industry in Nigeria earning THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS PER DAY and many have pulled up and left Nigeria and more are planning to do so right now. That's the facts.
There's nothing to argue about. I moved back to Nigeria after many years abroad. I owned a business, I lived well, a luxurious life amid terrible poverty. Riding in my SUV and seeing dead bodies lying on the road for WEEKS. People always begging and badgering me for money. Passing through Airport VIP Lounges with dirty, flooded toilets. Live in a big house where the servants and personal staff are a constant threat because of the sheer income disparity that provokes envy. That's not a country, that's hell.
Statistics is reality. Add up all the gun violence in the USA and I still feel safer here than in Nigeria. I've lived in Baltimore - one of the most violent cities in the USA - and I felt safer there than in Magodo Estate Lagos. This translates to my life expectancy, I'm likely to live longer in the USA than in Nigeria.
Anyway I always tell people that every bad thing that happens in Nigeria also happens in the USA or UK, the difference is the response of the government and civil society. That's the more important aspect of the whole thing. The PUBLIC or GOVERNMENT RESPONSE to adverse events is what instills confidence and that is where Nigeria fails totally. Today in the USA you find police still arresting murderers 30 years after the crime was committed! Get killed or robbed in Nigeria and NOTHING is done. Give it a month and it's forgotten, the bereaved are left to cope with the agony of justice denied in what is supposed to be a country with laws and government.
I repeat - most Nigerians, rich or poor, will have a better standard of living in Anglo Western countries than in Nigeria. I started from ZERO with an illegal job and I made it to the middle class and ANYONE even illegal immigrants are still doing it today. Compared to Nigeria TODAY, for the average person yes the Anglo West is and has always been close to paradise.
My message to Nigerians is to get out of that country if you can. Think about it, President Buhari in 1984 was preaching to Nigerians not to migrate abroad and AT THE SAME TIME all his children were living in Spain and the UK. That is the summary of the situation, don't be a MUGU, your President and his family have lived their lives in the UK and yet he tells you to be proud of Nigeria.
When President Biden moves to Nigeria that will be a signal that things are getting bad here. Until then I'm enjoying my 4th Class citizenship in this heaven. Life is too short abeg, to each his own.
Have a good day! |

bayode: Hey People,
I have been wanting to ask this question here in this group.
I got admission into CFNI Dallas to undergo Advances Diploma in "PASTORING"
Fees: $15K
SPONSORING: My Uncle who happens to be the Owner of one of the Biggest Real Estate Company in Lagos with over 10years in Real Estate Development of Houses. I also intend to part sponsor myself.
*The Question* I applied with the whole family, and the School gave all my 4kids and hubby I20 document.
The Question is, What chances do I have applying with the whole family for a 1year course in USA, Noting the fact that we have travelled together as a family to USA BEFORE
Note ; I intend to explain that I run a real estate company here in Lagos Nigeria with over 7years experience. Please when did you get the i20? I applied |

Fall 2022 session Moshkom: Which of the schools? Application against which session?
Fill form? Or you fill all the application process? Where you submitted this and that (Resume, Transcript and co). After the filling and submission of all the requirements, you should receive email from the school that your application is now completed and you’re now to be on admission decision process. Admission decision actually do take ‘time’, some 2weeks; 2months; 1week; 1month depending on the particular school.
So, you’ve to reach out to them to know if they receive your application and what next and/or how long are you to wait for decision.
PS: In this path, the best bet is to apply to minimum of 5 schools. So that expectation would be from “here and there” not just ‘here’, to avoid heartbreak. Lol.
Shalom! |
