Taal17: It's likely too late since grad ceremony is 19th. Unless you do premium processing which to be honest for visit visa to come for a graduation.
If you've had previous UK visa it's not impossible.
Get your passport first and start the application first. When you get to that bridge you'd see if there are dates for biometric ahead of your expected date.
Your brother does need to provide evidence of his status in the UK Accommodation of where you will stay with him Funds if he's taking care of expenses
You need evidence of your status as a student Thank you very much. For the evidence of status as a student,I don't have an i.d card but can get a document from the school showing my student profile and alsoI can get my admission letter. Will these suffice? |

Agriculture › Re: My One Year Journey Raising Local Chickens by Excel70: 8:35am On Mar 02, 2025 |
Lukuluku69: True.
But in most cases you have an unhatched eggs with chicks within, you can help it with a small cracking of that particular egg to help the chick within to further crack it.
This usually happens when the chick within is weak, not properly formed (if you hatch them, you will see a thread like entrails that leads to the anus) they usually die off within days if not properly cared for.
This is the reason I normally don't allow my brooding hen sit on more than 8 eggs. It allows for proper circulation of heat since the hen can comfortably cover them. The rest I eat!
As a Rule, I don't allow any hen sit on the first 2 eggs laid. I eat them and also the last egg. Those are usually the ones with unhatched chicks within after 3-4 days of hatching. Lool... This reminds me of when we were kids. We were told to put a knife beside the eggs of a brooding fowl as it will make it hatch all the eggs.Don't know if this is true |
Agriculture › Re: My One Year Journey Raising Local Chickens by Excel70: 6:20pm On Feb 15, 2025 |
kay29000: Selling them. Although they're not as expensive as broilers, they still are good business, cos the feeding is very very minimal. An adult local hen goes for about 6k.
Right now, i'm focusing on getting their population up to like 70, then I can sell off like 50 at once. Their population is currently at 6 adults, and 7 chicks. That's 13. By the end of the month, i'm expecting at least 17 chicks from the 22 eggs on ground. That would bring their total population to 30 by month end. They increase in sort of like a geometric progression. It's really incredible to watch. Where is your location? It's likely I'll need local cock |

airsaylongcome: So I have my reservations when you say "they started it...". But I would rather we don't exchange on that. I would however point out these same people stood massively behind MKO in 1993. Did the same for OBJ in 1999 and even in 2003 when their war leader ran against him. One of the major grouse the South West had against GEJ was that he was appointing them en-masse to the detriment of the interest of the South West. Yet when given the same opportunity to lead like GEJ, what has the SW done? Replicated the same behaviour that they said GEJ was guilty of.
They've got their shortcomings no doubt, but for years; they have suffered neglect. The rest of the country has made sure they they feel unwanted. They have in return said, "Since we aren't wanted, let us go so we can go and deal with ourselves, and cannibalise ourselves". But even that request has been declined with a lot derision. How much can someone take given those odds? Think about it. If you were in the same shoes, what would you do? This is a lie. The Igbos didn't support Abiola. He won only one state in the east |
