Of course no man owes me anything, but the moment he chooses to start a family with a woman, he has put her in a vulnerable position. Most times Automatically, her priorites realign, she becomes more vulnerable, she has to tolerate bullshit because she is married and has a family, she has to quit work when she gets pregnant, she has to experience the worse pain of her life and tangle with death in the labor room.


She has to readjust to putting another human being's (a newborn) needs before her own. She has to put her career on hold to nuture this man's children, and allow them to bite her breasts for at least 6 months. Do you even know how painful and uncomfortable exclusive breastfeeding is? I always wonder why women still come to the labor room more than twice.

You do all this for a child that will still leave one day. That may or may not be grateful. Afterall, it isn't their obligation to look after you in old age. Isn't that how millennials think?


I worked in the labor room for a year and i saw many traumatic things that has shifted my mind about starting a family. I came to the conclusion that motherhood is not worth it. Especially if the man has a bad character(a good number) is not in the picture, or cannot afford to provide for his family.

That i ask that a man should simply provide so that his family is comfortable and can get the best of what is out there, is not not too much, but the minimal requirement.

I'm not a poor person, I can take care of myself. I'm just starting my career but chose to stay at home because of the epidemic. I am asthmatic and nigerians are not worth dying for.

But i will rather adopt children and understand that they are my cross to bear alone than to be saddled with a man who thinks that the bare necessities is too much for him to accomplish. When i do end up finacing the simple things I want like yearly trips abroad which i am already doing as a single person instead of the man that wants me to go through the hoops and hurdles of selflessly raising his family as a gesture of goodwill and 'love'. Then he will know what disrespect truly means.


Sorry for the rant, but It truly gets me angry whenever i see men bullying women to accept their mediocrity.

These are products of Nigeria injustice system. We will learn someday by fire by force. I don't even see this case as blasphemy or anything relating to religion. The region is somewhat known to act like this for those of us growing up in the 90s would know.

And it is not only Northern region, other parts of the country aren't any better. Nigeria has long embraced jungle justice for a very long time and they still embrace is today. Within the past two weeks leading to the death of this girl there were reported and underreported gruesome murder cases. Look at IPOB the way they murdered a couple and no one seemed to care about it.


Look at the boy that was killed at Chrisland school boy Sylvester Oromoni murdered and his killers seem to be at large, possibly flown overseas to evade justice.



Look at Habeeb Idris who was murdered by Christian mobs in kwara state CAN made sure the case was swept under the table. So now, surprisingly CAN came out to defend Deborah seeking for justice. Allah is just.


I don't tag this religious issue. It is not different from other events in the country. It was actually the media that tagged it "blasphemy" to stare reactions.

I am so much disappointed with Muslims on social media platforms. Load of them have zero sense. Qur'an teaches that we are the best of mankind but their behavior on this issue doesn't go down well with me. The only two people that make sense to me are Sheikh Imran Eleha and Mallam Yusuf Adepoju.

I expected Muslims to talk briefly about blasphemy academically and let it slide and focus on coordinated condolence visit to the family. As in, send at least 5 Yorùbá Muslim delegates to comport the family until the girl was buried and give them some money as well. But instead of them to think they were arguing back and forth and started tagging this sect and that sect behind the crime. Who dah help?.

They are bunch of hypocrites. This case has nothing to do with Alhusunnah Wajamah. The moment the incident happened they started saying it is alhusunnah waljamah. Alhusunnah Wajamah are not responsible for what happened. But these clowns started talking about Ibn Taymmiya wahabi salafi etc. This led to those stupid, young Alhusunnah Wajamah that always look for trouble to insist on death penalty without using their wisdom. Hypocrites now used this to confirmed Alhusunnah Wajamah are behind the incident. But the reality is, those killers aren't even knowledgeable people. Hausa-Fulani are known to act this way for long time even Yorùbá act the same way when it comes to killing thieves.

Also none of these Alfas came out to condemn Habeeb Idris killers. Does this mean that Muslim blood is cheap and Christian blood is sacred?. No one said what those Deborah's killers did was right. But I am talking about justice system. Those alfas should have used the opportunity to call out CAN and govt injustices around the country. But as usual they are just arguing over blasphemy. I am really pissed off right now.

It was only Sheikh Imran Eleha and Mallam Yusuf Adepoju that highlighted other cases where injustices exist including Habeeb Idris case.

Until we reset our brain and return to Allah and embrace justice nothing will change. Personally I support blasphemy law but I differ with penalty. Govt has the right to implement laws. Laws are meant to regulate our affairs otherwise a ma ko lu ara wa all the time. If there was Sharia law in SW those Christians who published 1994 manifesto would have been dealt with. They would cautioned what they teach their people. To be honest, Christian parents and pastors teach Christians negative about Islam, Muhammad and muslims. They don't see Muslims the way Muslims see them.

As a rule, it's advised to intermitently take a cold shower (almost 4-6 times in a day) and/or have a pale of cool water next to the reciter, so that s/he dips their fingers and dabs across the face and neck, etc for relief.
