Welldone Kabarka, i still have some things to ask but that maybe later |
zezeny: Not in UI. Equity Chamber is in OAU. U can also find Justice Chamber, Magna Curia Chamber etc all in OAU.Yeah rite. I grab now. Would love to pay a visit to UI someday. Maybe in an inter school moot trial. *winks* |
zezeny: @Excelboi Wots ur skul bro?I skul at Bayero University, Kano. I thought their is a chamber called Equity In UI? |
As zezeny as earlier said, all law faculties do have chamber. They are not necessarily real operating chambers that judge real court cases, they are just allowed to operate within the jurisdiction of the school and have competitions and moot trials with other schools or within the other chambers in the school. The chamber i belong to in school once went on a challenge with the Advocate chamber of ABU fac of Law. The chambers helps alot as a law student. In my school, we have four chambers respectively: Equity,Solace,Liberty and Al-Maslaha chambers. We take part in moot trials and in some occassions, we invite SAN(s) to witness our proceedings and some time high court judges to precide over cases. Hw abt ur schools fellas? Pls share |
OkwaIfugo: Hello all,Use internet.ng.airtel.com as ur APN |

Whats wrong with this madam minister? She has better scores (ASUU) to settle with than thinking of creating useless laws. By the way, i thought there is an existing law of 21yrs or that one na fallacy. |
evening my learned colleagues, This thread is still trending. As for Unilorin law, its five yrs and nt four. I Hav frndz there. |
olumidaie: I appreciate you all for your contribution to this topic.Mostly its year one courses that has similar correlation with ur O level subjects e.g. Introduction to Pol sci. Like in unilorin, to the best of my knowledge it depends on the type of law you are aspiring to go for. You will do courses like Administrative law,Nig Legal System, law of contract, law of tort (i think),criminal law, constitutional law etc. Your history background in ur A level will be beneficial to you in aspect like the Nig Legal System. |
As for BUK, in my current level, i have about 3 law courses which are as follows: Constitutional Law Nigerian Legal System Law of Contract (interesting but quite tough). I think it varies depending on the school. The degree is dual honour. Now its time to discuss my learned collegues. |
Fynestboi: @excelboi what do u ve for us?Letz see some interest from others and i will unleash fully. |
Ujawissy: i have a younger one who wants to put in for medicine in Buk,hw is d competiveness of the course there? Sorry op for posting here. and bokoharam issues?whatz his state of origin? BUK medicine nah fire for fire. Its quite competitive as they mostly give MBBS admission to their indigene. It depends on his state and his score in jamb and post utme. Bt if he can consider dentistry, it is less competitive in BUK and there is higher chance he will be given dentistry or physiotherapy. And abt boko haram, since the attack on BUK more than a year ago, the state is very calm now. Its less bothered with security issue and even uptil 10pm, students can still be seen outside having fun. |
Fynestboi: @excelboi what do u ve for us?I dey chop, Make i finish. By the way, Make intro of urself too. |
Op, all these notes are just making the thread long and boring. Im a law student anyway. Full Name: D Mohd Institution: BUK Course: LLB Level: 200lvl |

There is no missing 1k . the acct is nt balance in that way. The balance should be in this format :- He borrowed 100k in total. The shirt he bought was at a cost of 97k, after you purchase you are left with 3k (which means 100k - 97k = 3k). He gave 1k each to his dad and mom, which is 3k - 2k = 1k, which is the 1k left with him. The acct is balanced this way. There is no missing 1k. |
