Pls l have been trying since but nothing ran some test and they said ovarian cyst.
Hormonal imbalance, was placed on some drugs now that l have finished with that period has ceased.
Was given primolut N by gynecologist it came out, ran the following month as for this month no show and am not pregnant.
Pls help am tired of this chemicals, my nipple's is so sore as if am pregnant, what herbs can l take? Pls

I'm not back sis, just thought to check on my people.
Don't worry, God will make it easy and it will happen sooner than imagine in Jesus name.

We thank Him for making us enter third trimester alive and healthy, it is not by our strength nor our doing but by His grace and mercy as He has brought us this far. That being said, I believe He that has started this unforgettable journey with us will end it with us and we shall all come on here to share our BS and BA in Jesus name.

Consequently, please let us endeavor to answer roll call this is important so we would be assured we are all doing ok and if there are challenges that is beyond us then experienced mamas will suggest and advise us on what to do.

However, I hope we are almost done with shopping? If not, the great provider will surprise us in a miraculous way financially.

What happens when you eventually marry the love of your life and you can't afford money needed for selection? Resentment and hatred then set in but at the end of the day, it is left to people in such situation.

Same here. Doctor put me on more blood multivitamins, close check-up, and possible admission if it doesn't improve by next check-up.

Also eat iron base foods.

Oh dear, you landed on admission, so how many pints of blood where you transfused with? Where you symptomatic or did your doctor just want to keep you?

A pcv of 28% without being clinically pale, dizziness, having palpitations or any other signs of cardiac insufficiency or cardiac compromise is enough for you to carry to delivery. You don't need to fuss over your blood volume as long as it is above 24 in pregnancy

Yes, I was pale with very low BP and always weak and dizzy. No blood transfusion but almost 5 drips and lots of drugs that I can't remember.

PCV of 28 percent is fine in pregnancy as long as there is no haemodynamic instability or any medical condition with cardiac compromise.

No ma'am, it's not fine. I had that exact pcv and landed on admission in the hospital.

They shall continue to grow under the wings of the almighty and His wisdom and blessings shall be upon them. We shall come back here again to testify to the glory of God. Longest time mama. We shall live long to eat the fruits of our labour in Jesus name.

I'm a first time mom too but please let's not self medicate our babies as they are fragile.

Good evening mother, I'm glad to be here. I put to bed last week Thursday, 1st time mum. My baby girl was 3.3kg @birth but now it seems she looks smaller. Though I delivered via CS so she was on NAN for few days until now that my breasts are producing milk. Pls what drugs can I use for her aside Panda paracetamol & gripe water? Or any drugs to make a new born big & healthy?

Please don't give her any drugs o. It's ok for them to reduce in weight before gaining the weight back. Please don't!!! BTW, gripe water is when she stomach pain(which is normal till she clocks 3 months and 4-5months for boys) and paracetamol when it is absolutely needed not always. May she continue to bring you joy and may God Almighty give you the wisdom and strength needed.

There is aptamil from 6-12months and if I'm not mistaking even till 36months so it depends on you. Other foods like cerelac, nutribom, friso gold( they all have different types like maize, rice,wheat so you choose and see the one your baby likes)pap, tom brown (don't know if I'm correct with the spelling).

May mamas are just porting. Congratulations to you all.

I experienced the same thing but what I did was to take the drugs at the time when nausea and vomit was least(mine was at night around 9 or 10 when people including neighbours are done cooking) to occur. You are in your early stage and your baby need those drugs especially folic acid. As for food, just keep eating even though you vomit it(that was what I was advised to do anyways and it worked. Good morning mama's, I've been at the hospital since last night as instructed by the Dr. I'm 37 3days. Like I said I've been having contraction since last week Monday & becoming stronger though going on & off. Dr. said they'll induce wt cathetar & observe for 12 hrs b4 they can know if it works or progress to tablet.
BUT...
my fear is d Dr said if it doesn't work it's CS. God knows I DON'T want CS because I still want to try to get pregnant early next year.
Pls what shud I do? What is the accuracy of inducing? I mean the percentage of it working? I'm really confused. Pls advice me. I'm confused

Although I was 39weeks 3days but induction eventually worked for me.

My Son is celebrating three years Birthday today.

After waiting for 9years with one ovary, Only one embryo was transferred. it can only be God.

One of my ovary was mistekly removed during Fibroid operation in Nigeria. Lost all hope but God came and gave me wonderful Son afterwards!

For those still waiting for this type of wonder Joy, It will arrive soon. Just believe and ignore those that are mocking and calling you names. Be thanking God ahead for the bundle of joy that's arriving your family soon

I came back here after three years to celebrate with my people and give hope to those still waiting.

I have been a silent member of this thread since my wife got pregnant. This is our first pregnancy and we are expecting twins. On getting to the hospital today the doctor said they don't allow Virgin delivery for multiple pregnancies and that we have to get a date for CS. I am quite nervous, it's not that she has a particular health issue but it's just the hospital policy. We are 27 weeks already. Please what do you advise?

A family friend gave birth to a set of twin on Sunday and it was VD. I myself was flabbergasted. My advice, use a general hospital also trust your doctor's advice too. Save delivery in advance to you and your wife.

Hi mamas. From what age should a baby start using a baby walker? he's 4 months old. MIL said he should be sitting already but he isn't so she said I should get a baby walker hope it isn't too early?

Please let him be sitting down. It is difficult at first because they keep falling down or at times hitting their heads(I wouldn't advice floor, try sofa or bed). Keep him in-between your wide-open legs that way you can support him.

According to experienced mothers, 3 months for girls and 4 months for boys.

I honestly don’t know anything bout that, she doesn’t use any drug cos I been telling her not to even paracetamol cos it might be dangerous unless doc prescribe it.
Care to explain more to me about the routine drugs ma’am?

Folic acid, calcium, bcomplex,ferrous, pregnant care, vitamin c. BTW, not to take all I mentioned just that they are routine drugs for pregnant women.

that's why i sometimes agree with when people say sleep when baby sleeps, so that ones mental health will be intact but it is not usually realistic cos it is when baby sleeps you will take care of yourself and the house small.

Hi mama please help! My 10weeks old baby who used to be a sleep lover like other babies suddenly cannot sleep again for the past two days.

Usually after his morning bath, I breastfeed him and off he goes to sleep. He can sleep for upto 7hrs or more and maybe wakes up in-between to feed. But for the past two days he'll sleep for a maximum of 2 hrs and will not go back to sleep until night. And even at night he struggled with sleep and eventually slept around 1am and woke up by 6am. Meaning he couldn't even get upto 10 hours sleep a day for two days now and he's just 2 months and few weeks old.
Aside the sleep issue, he's temperature is normal, he breastfeed well, he poos well but just cannot sleep and as long as he's awake, he wants to be carried. That's a lot of hardwork. Hope I'm not loosing my mind for doing nothing but carrying him from 12pm to 1am. Please who understands this situation and is anyone experiencing this?
Forgive my tone mbok. I just managed to put him to sleep about an hour ago. Something I started trying since 12pm. Pheeeew!

You know what they say about babies changing? Welcome to another phase mama. You'll have to endure it and yes, your LO is perfectly fine(he'll change again).
You're even lucky, mine would sleep throughout afternoon and not even close eyes in the night till around 5 or 6am. As a ftm, I was so tired I think I fell into depression sef. My baby cried for as long as I don't carry him and in the night o.

Hello Mommas.

I held back from registering my presence here for God knows why.

Somehow, I kept waiting to pass the 12th weeks mark and be assured everything is fine with me and the baby.

Unfortunately, I lost the baby as scan showed earlier that the gestational sac was irregular plus no significant changes sequel to previous scan, and no fetal cardiac pulsations.

According to the sonographer, it was a missed miscarriage and evacuation should be done as soon as possible.

My heart is shattered.

And, the recommended doctor is saying 35k for the procedure!

Please, if you know a good hospital in Ilorin that is more affordable, do help recommend.
