How can you go to the hospital and receive injection without asking the name and what it’s for, you now came here to ask us what injection and why it was administered.. how Were we there with her? That’s carelessness if you ask me, we are still on the case of the lady that got injected and lost her pregnancy

Excuse me ma, don't you think she feels guilty already and needed some answers to at least give her some succour. Do we really need to bring people down or blame them for what they already know it is their fault? BTW, not everyone is extroverted therefore asking questions or talking much is an issue for them.
Everyone cannot be like you(miss perfect) who does everything perfectly without needing help.

As much as this thread is a family to most of us, please let's endeavor to hide some things in our BS because of some wicked silent readers looking for relevance and short fame.

My take on the discuss above, for someone like me who has had to battle low self esteem and depression albeit overcome those, I have since make myself and my happiness the priority above every other thing. Nothing in this world is a do or die affair.
May God give everyone the strength and wisdom to make right decisions.

A very big thank you to everyone who checked on me one way or the other, I'm so grateful..
After a long night, I woke up a little better with the rib-like contraction reduced only to start again.. We went to the hospital and I was given 2 intravenous pain relief and the third on my butt after which I was sent for an X-ray which showed there was nothing in my ribs and that they were normal (I could have sworn that Something was there). Went back to the hospital where it was confirmed that it was the muscles around the rib pulling and causing the pain,,, I was given pain relieving tabs and an antibiotic for the cough... All along my Lo was quiet inside and I was almost worried but as soon as the pain relieved me I could feel her almost everywhere.. I just knew it was my body preparing for labour.

And Please let's be careful with the drugs we are given at the hospital, better to be safe than sorry...
My Gynea was not on seat when I went, so I conversed with a general doc and the antibiotics given me was Arthrotec 75 which she said contains Diclofenac and Misoprostol (I exclaimed) but she quickly explained that diclo has tendency of causing ulcer while the misoprostol is to subside the diclo effect on the stomach lining.. On getting home I went on Google and saw that it's not suitable for pregnant women at all stages as it causes abortion, foetal death, premature something something etc though what she said about the drug was also true as I read it online so I picked my phone and called my gynae.. On hearing the drug name + how far gone I was, he screamed who gave you on the phone and I mentioned the doc, immediately he said I shouldn't use it, called the doc and scolded her then called back to apologise to me then told me to bring it back at my next appointment..

No. I asked too while in my first trimester and was advised against it. Was told one ingredient can induce contraction or cause threatened abortion, whether it is true or not, I avoided it and only ate peooersoup prepared at home by another person since I couldn't eat what I prepared.
You know our bodies differ and some might say you should go ahead but do you know what your body will reject or accept? So please play safe!

Initially,I wanted to go for the wooden baby crib but I discovered it was a bit on the high side in terms of price and also,I was made to know that some babies would prefer sleeping close to their moms,which means getting an expensive wooden crib would eventually be a waste of money.

I don't deceive myself at all so yes, coming from a woman. How do I expect him to keep to himself for almost 9 months when he clearly wants it? Someone that's always touching my kini and following him yet deprive him of it. As in the first time I had it, I got up immediately after because to say I was disgusted is an understatement. Thanks for the assurance mama, I pray it goes smoothly for me.

Present ooòo! I have been reading up. Officially tired honestly. Been having contractions aldo since 24weeks but it has been very painful in the last couple of weeks.

LO wants to port to April o! Even though I have been booked for an elective c-section. Presently on nifedipine to relax contractions and stop from going into preterm labour.
So far so good no contractions since starting the meds.

Oh my God teamie! So sorry about the pain. You're really strong and courageous and may Almighty God crown your efforts and bless you with a healthy and beautiful baby. There shall be no loss. Mother, baby and father alive in Jesus name and we shall celebrate with you soon.
Porting is allowed mama as long as it is in the best interest of you and little one.
