Thanks mama. As a FTM mum, I didn't know how to push so my nurse had to give a tear because according to her baby was already crowned and they didn't want anything bad to happen to him.

Birth Alert!!!

I gave birth to my handsome Prince on 20th May at exactly 8:20pm through vagina delivery with plenty of tears weighing 2.9kg after about more than 12 hours of labor.
May the God of perfection who has done it for me and other mamas surely deliver our remaining mothers in prefect conditions.
BTW, my labour was rigorous and painful as hell maybe because it was my first time therefore, I'll be dropping my BS much later.

Please mums, since I put to bed on Monday morning my baby has been on oxygen and IV fluids, they said till her breathing is stabilised cos they won't want food or anything to mistakenly enter her airways. Fortunately I didn't start lactating immediately but since yesterday I've been flowing... I can't express and keep the milk cos of light issues... Baby has not taken colostrum (someone said for 2 weeks the breast still produces colostrum, donno how true), should I just squeeze and throw it away to prevent pains? Please I need help before the pains fully sets in

First off, I want to wish us a happy new month and Ramadan Kareem to our Muslim sisters, may we all have reasons to be grateful to God Almighty always.

However, congratulations to our porters to April, we are glad you all gave birth successfully and we are thankful to God Almighty that both mothers and babies are alive, healthy and bouncing in the Lord's blessing. May your joy never be cut short in Jesus might name.

Consequently, I am glad we had new mamas register with us teamperfection therefore we are happy for the lord has increased us in every aspect of our lives. Father Lord, we thank you for the journey thus far because it is not by our power nor might that we have come to the month of perfection but for your mercy and favor that you have shown us, accept our thanksgiving in Jesus mighty name. Though it seemed far(at least for me), you gave us live, strength, courage and every other things necessary for easy waddling.

Therefore, my May mamas I say a big congratulation in advance to us all because our testimonies are permanent and people shall rejoice with us in Jesus mighty name. At this juncture, I believe our hospital bags must have been packed and ready in preparation for the arrival of our little ones. Please let's also endeavor to put things in other, like finalizing our leave(for both civil and private employees), start exercising for easy delivery and oh yes we can now eat fruits and foods that aids easy birth( like eating pineapple, dates, zobo, drinking ewedu or okra) whether it works or not I don't think there's harm in trying it.

Lastly, like we've professed, there shall be no loss amongst us(amen). Mothers and babies shall come out alive from the hospital in Jesus mighty name and no death shall be recorded afterwards. I want to use this medium to thank all my teamies, you have made this cappo work easy for me with your contributions, suggestions and availability, therefore I say thank you very much and I'm honored to be amongst you especially being a first time mom. To everyone (our experienced mamas) who have contributed immensely on this thread and made(still making) it easy for us all, may the good Lord grant you your heart desires in Jesus name. We are also using us all as a point of contact for every woman seeking for the fruit of the womb that God in His infinite mercy will visit them soon and they also shall share their testimonies and we all will rejoice with them in Jesus name.

What can i say,I m the one the Lord showed mercy.
My baby is the cutest baby ever! Like i cant go out without people complimenting! And God did it all!We are 4 months now and i even saw that small colourless budding of teeth today on his 2 lower gums! Amazing!

So sorry my BA is coming in jus now. Had my baby girl on sat 7th of may via emergency C's. It was a traumatic experience. God literally saved me. I'l give a detailed bs wen I feel much better.

Sorry I took long. I can't list everything but one important thing is to trust your instincts.
If you feel like something is wrong so bad you need professional help, go for it.

One thing I'm very careful about is bleeding at any point especially if it's bright red. If it's much, and is accompanied by cramps, or is frequent can be a cause for worry and one should get checked out.

Another thing is BP. I try to check that even randomly, in the hospital or a pharmacy. Never had it before, bit it's not something to joke with.

Also water intake is very important. Most pregnant women don't like taking all types of water and your kidney is working harder now. Anytime your urine starts looking deep yellow, try to finish at least a litre odd water immediately and more after that.

Treatment of infection is something some women don't take seriously. I've seen if cause extended stay in ICU for their babies.

I also do my best to prevent, and I said prevent not treat, malaria. That thing can be very bad for pregnant women. I use my
nets, I close doors and use insecticide religiously. I've never had it in any pregnancy, but I've seen it effects.
No matter how expensive it may be, as far as it's confirmed in a good hospital that it's malaria, I would rather treat it than risk the consequences.

That's what I can recall for now.

Wo teamie, that my tired is tired is an understatement. I mean LO is just adding weight abi what can cause the heaviness now that I'm even begging him to please come out. Me I don't even walk like a penguin I walk like an old woman with serious case of rheumatism but all in all God has been faithful and the journey ahead is less compare to where we are coming from.
Hope you're fine too? I know you've passed your EDD but I know everything works together for those who believe in Him and we all shall celebrate soon.
On a lighter note, I think our little ones want to come very close to each other's EDD.
