It didn't come immediately. I started like you with no sales for more than 6 months. I will watch namepros completed sales section and ask myself why I was unable to contribute to the success stories. I continued to dig, read and read before sales started coming in.
Between June 1 and today July 31(2 months), i have realised a total of $10,470 in sales ( 3. 7 million naira). That's $ 8,500(3 million) after commission and other cost .
June = $3000+ $2200
July = $2200+ $3070
4 domain names
Total = $10,470
It doesn't come easily.
Work hard. Read wide and don't rush it.

Hello guys, please I'm in need of help here, I successfully bought a domain, registered with afternic and sedo, was through with the verification process at afternic , signed the membership Certification form at sedo and submitted, only to try logging in to both and was told my account was suspended by afternic and closed by sedo, please what does it mean as I have contacted them to prove my innocence as a newbie but to no avail, will my account ever be opened again? here is the reply I got from sedo ;

Is the domain a new one or old one?
You can not buy a new domain from either afternic or sedo
If the domain is an old one; it could be a stolen domain name!

In addition to all they have explained to you above. You need to set the domain for "BUY NOW" ("BIN" at namesilo.com and ask the buyer to sign up with namesilo and for him to click on "BUY NOW" and the name belongs to him immediately after making payment for the name.

No issue at all. Actually my first domain sale proceeds was collected using my dom account. but after that, I have been making use of paypal or bitcoin simply because of low commission, Exchange rate differences and fast payment.

OK! OK, But when you received your money via wire in to your account, you then withdraw in Dollar and exchange it from Mallam Aboki of your choice.
One thing I don't know now is that does the exchange rate via paypal carry more values than having it in raw cash? I think having it in raw cash is more better and more valuable with Aboki exchangers.

How do you pay for transfers to eNom when your domain sells on Namejet. eNom rejected my orders because of my geo location.

That is usual challenge we normally face with enom, you need to write to the namejet business desk via BusinessServices@NameJet.com and give them your IP address so that they can help you configure your enom account with your IP; but then, you must be available to do the transfer as soon as you are informed of the configuration so that you are done before your IP changes once again. IP in Nigeria do changed at random.

I don't know what you have encountered about wire transfer, but me I think it is the best and the safest for now. Can you imagine that there is no any commission taken out of your proceeds at GTbank. But may I hear from you what you have encountered with wire transfer, because i have been collecting proceeds from namejet /Gtbank since January via wire transfer and it has been so good so far without any extra commission from the bank.
Do other banks charged for wire inflows? Or charged more than the commission that the exchangers will charge? I know quite well that when you are sending money via wire the banks do charge but I do not know of inflows.

So please what are your takes/advice on this and is it possible to negotiate price when a domain is listed as BUYNOW? I've heard of trademarking of words, do you think this can be an effective solution to the situation at hand?

Also there is another domain with similar keyword that seems parked for traffic income, my question is can such domain be bought and if so how does one connect with the owner.

Well! By disclosing the domain name does not mean any thing if you have registered the domain but if you have not; you may not disclose the name on social media here.

But what I just want you to know is that the one with "er" is American spelling and the one with "re" is British spelling. If you want the domain to do well with American you can then decide on the "er" type. However, the problem is I don't think you can get that name unless you are ready to pay BIN amount.

You can connect with the owner of domain by going through email contact on Whois and through the marketplace.

You can ask them why should they do such, and they will explain and open your account for you. It happened to me twice but each time it happen I challenged them and they open my account for me.

I liked it, it will sell, but shopforbikes.com is better in this aspect because it is for sales of bikes. Sometime singular are better but this one, you can buy the plural form as well if you like.

I have just checked the plural, but I found that it was taken since 2003.

Congrats for reading from a -z. Try not to buy too much for a start for your practical examinations - buy two or three and sell first before going further.
However, like having said above, you need to read many blogs from one to the others. I also advice you to read my blog www.DNCombo.com for more ideas. Domaining education is a continuous thing and you also need to get what will probably works for you, because what works for Mr. A may not work for Mr. B. But the basics will surly works for everybody and from there, you can advance further.

If the CPC is less than $1, then, Afternic is good for parking for that share given to you; $0.45 in two clicks, that means they give about or close to 50% share.

Parking is not the main purpose these days, but sales should be your target, buy domains that are trending and you can get sales either at namejet or outbounding or other markets.
