Just sold one of my domain names. I got a mail from DomainAgent that they buyer who is interested in my domain name. The buyer offered to buy it for $250, but because I already listed it at Afternic and Sedo for $500, I quoted same amount for the buyer. We negotiated for 1 week and I refused to go below $400 while buyer was stuck on $350. I simply ignored him without contacting him again until a week later when I got his mail that he has accepted it for $400. Buyer pays the Escrow charges. Domain was transferred to him.

Late last year I saw a guy that sold nameparrot in king on namejet, I quickly start my research on how to register a name that include parrot as one of the keyword, luckily for me namecheap was about starting their $0.88 promo, fast forward I register a name designparrot n king and I was happy, I know for sure that name will sell for at least $69 if I lost it on namejet, but on this faithful day I was browsing through and i saw a guy from here that sold ripplechain in king, on seeing that name I began a search on what ripple and possibly how to register a name with ripple keyword, but mind you i have decided not to use my money to register domain name again till make a breakthrough, so I need to sell one of my names to purchase the newly found domain...
I needed quick cash,so I threw my designparrot in king on auction here and I got a buyer for $12 or so, and the buyer helped me in registering this my newly sold name...

Well...this is not the first time am seeing this from you but let me correct it once and for all.
First, there's a difference between revenue and profit. What I posted was my cost and revenue not cost and profit.
Second, we domainers have a template on sales report and that is what I have followed. There are so many hidden cost we don't bother to report because they are not material and we are not doing forensic accounting here . Can you tell me where you see the cost of transferring names to enom on namepros sales report? You can hardly find one. So, drawing each others back on irrelevant issues will not help. This is the second time you are doing this. It's not necessary
Second, hardly will you see domainers stating commission after sales on namepros but we all know there is commission to be paid. So no point repeating it again.
Third, if we are to start breaking it down the way it should, Do you know there is a cost of Internet to do this business? cost of device (phone of laptop), cost of electricity per unit of sale/output , labour cost per hour. I can continue but not necessary. Am a cost accountant so I understand this very very well.

Remember I did not ask you about the namejet commission

Lastly in accounting, there is materiality concept. The cost you just mentioned might not be material to my business

so, you can conclude I didn't make any profit if all I have mentioned above is taken into consideration.
