All registrars take 60 days before transfer could be carried out on any domain name. But you can push to other registrants that has account at the same registrar where the domain is resident.

This question has been bothering me since. I was going through a site and I saw some really cool expiring domains for $15, now my question is If I buy an expiring domain from say, namesilo, will I stil pay to register it? Or buying it has covered registration?

Once you pay for the domain name, you become the owner that particular domain. You don't need to pay a separate money for registration. If it is Godaddy; the payment for the renewal will be added on the name as you are paying for the name. So same could happen with namesilo.

Not really! The issue is that you can opt-in but if sales occurs; the transfer will not occur. For example, netsol gives the go ahead to opt-in in 2nd or 3rd day; but I doubt if transfer could be held until 60th day.

Try to visit one of their branches and complain to their customer care and you will be advised on what to do to activate your card.

To be honest with you; the coin"ed" contaminated the domain; there is nothing like coined in the crypto niche; the past participle of coin. I don't think any one could like it.
Well ! You have registered it; try and let's see what could happen to the domain. But I don't think it be more than low $xx

You always need to question yourself before registering any domain and ask your self "why should a particular domain is available, especially in such hot niche before paying for registration.

This is not entirely true, on Saturday I requested for an Auth Code from Network Solutions for one of the domains I bought with the 1$ promo, the buyers had already paid and requested a transfer to GoDaddy so after requesting for the Auth Code I called Network Solution and told them that I can't wait for 3days because I have sold the domain. The guy created the Auth while we were talking on the phone and I received the code in less than 30mins (instead of waiting for 3days).
In summary; the 60 days lock isn't activated for the 1$ domains and if you need the code urgently, call them, you don't have to wait for 3 days .

Have you now transfer the domain/s now? Until you transfer the domain before you can be sure that 60days lock not applied to the domain/s. The 60 days lock is a general rule for every domain name and applied to every registrar, you can push within the same registrar, but I doubt possibilities of transfer to another registrar before the end of 60 days.

Having authcode does not mean anything, authcode is created as soon as you registered a domain but the 60 days lock is applied to all domains before any transfer can be carried out.
Let's see if the domain can be transferred.

Selling and listing are their business now! The challenges you are facing are that you are not ready to read. If you have started reading from page one of this thread before getting to page 10 you must have learnt so many things that does not need questioning. Just try to follow if you are not ready to read.

You know the problem is that many people that comes here are looking for one thing or other and in most cases domainers who are making money don't usually have time for any other thing than focusing on what to achieve on daily basis and time is never enough for the business.

Just take it as a business that takes much time to acquire.

If you have dom account, use wire and you will get your money em bulk, but if you don't have dom account; get use of exchanger's paypal account.

They refused my paypal and in the next five minutes I received two email's messages that I should click a link to free my paypal from suspension. But they did not know that I don't use that particular email for my paypal account.

I bought this domain last year June and immediately reached out to the .net owner who was into real estate
I contacted the guy then and he replied immediately with how much which I replied $3000 which he then replied by saying the name is only worth $500 to him that he will buy it immediately if I send him godaddy purchase link
I could not send him godaddy purchase link because I had the name registered at namesilo
So, I had to wait for the lock period to be over so I can transfer the name to my godaddy and then list it on godaddy premium page so I can send him the purchase link
I did just that after 60days
An extra $15 cost plus additional one year of course
I got back to him with the link just for him to say he will pay only $50. What
I was disappointed.
So, I just left the name like that.
I even contacted Warren Buffet lol
No reply.
But just on Monday afternoon I got the good news from godaddy.
I don't know who the buyer is and I think it doesn't matter.

The main thing is; do not register any domain you can not afford to loss at networksolution. That is it.
You can google networksolution and see for yourself. Your card may even be charged when you have put off your auto renewals, they have access to your account in which they can put it back on for you.

hello Olatunji! There are many marketplaces online such as Afternic.com, sedo.com, undevelopped.com etc and so also at namepros.com forum.
You will need to create account with one or as much marketplaces you wish. and then on their platform; there are rules which you need to follow before placing your domains on sales with them.
For now, you can open account and then read and follow their instructions to place your domain/s on sales.

If there are any other things you need to know, you can then come back here and ask.

My People, I have been robbed of a cool domain either by Godaddy or estibot.
THIS IS MY PAINFUL STORY
I was researching on word combos in the crypto industry. I tried all I could think of, but all to no avail. After I arrived home from school around 7:00pm, I sat down on my bed and an Idea came to my mind and before you could call jacksparrow, I went online to check the availability on namesilo and behold, this golden crypto + keyword was available. I logged on my godaddy account to check the price and behold, It was a 4 digits score. I was so happy and unhappy again. I was happy because my labour is not in vain and I was unhappy because I was not able to buy the name Immediately because there was no much cash on my VISA card while my Verve card had more than enough cash to buy it, but they don't accept verve card. I planned doing the transaction early today. However, my joy was shortlived as I discovered my precious domain was registered yesterday @ 8:59pm yesterday. I was so dumbfounded and broken because this suppose to be my major registered domain.
The name of the domain is cryptoblochain.com. I got these info from whois.

The domain is a typo of Blockchain The real obe supposed to be "Cryptoblockchain" and not "cryptoblochain.com" Though some people use blochain; but I don't see it as premium, you can not see any of that spelling at namebio.com that sold for any price.
Well someone took it, does not mean it is a good one. it is a typo!

But the best place for you to search is to use either namecheap, who.is or whois.com for your search engine for checking your intending domains

Good luck take heart the best is yet to come just keep trying; it happens to every domainers.

If you don't have money to pay, please don't bid because it will affect you. No domainer wishes to loss account at namepros.
If they do bidding and failed to pay, their account will be closed down and they can not get it back for a long time.

I just hope so. Good luck. But find a way to move your domains out of that place, because they can be very disappointing.

If you are selling at namejet you have the opportunities to move them. If you have a very good premium with them; they can be very bloody dangerous.
