First things first is RESEARCH, doing your homework is important to secure scholarships. And the internet is big enough to do so, you are currently researching that is why you've put this out there. That is decent effort. As for scammers and fraudsters, that is usually a result of desperation and improper research. So how do you go about securing a scholarship? 1. Research, do a SWOT analysis of yourself, ask yourself what you have, and where you want to go - it will be pointless having a 2:2 and looking at scholarships targeted at 1st class graduates, so an honest evaluation of one's self is necessary 2. After researching, prepare ahead - list down what you need to acquire in order to be eligible for some of these scholarships, you might have all the requirements or might not have it, so the things that can still be acquired such as GRE, GMAT or IELTS/TOEFL which maybe strict for certain scholarships should be taken care of. 3. Apply Apply Apply. Scholarships are a game of numbers, the wider you cast your net, the more the chances of you landing one - Depending on where you are looking, there are usually easily 10+ scholarships each year, with extensive research, one may even find up to 20+ scholarships one is eligible for 4. Planning, scholarship search, application and processes are quite stressful and rigorous, you must plan ahead carefully so that you don't give yourself a burnout. 5. As for the experience, sure the experience is worth it, since you are not paying for your tuition or upkeep - it is a good way to improve your employability at minimal cost to you (especially the fully funded scholarships) 6. However, considering the Nigerian graduate market and age cap, If you are 26 or 27, I usually suggest careful examination of benefits, as upon completion of studies, one maybe ineligible for certain graduate jobs in Nigeria like KPMG, GTBank, Access Bank, EY and other age-sensitive graduate schemes 7. Scholarships can open way to employment in other countries, so once on the postgraduate program it is a good idea to start exploring your options for employment in places you are eligible 8. Scholarships are hard as the competition is stiff, Good grades/excellent academic credentials often help but are no way a guarantee of a scholarship. So it is advantageous to have solid grades I hope this helps JIREN01: Hello, erudite men and women. This enquiry goes out particularly to scholars abroad. Here's an ambitious mind willing to be schooled and enlightened regarding how to successfully bag a scholarship abroad, particularly for a post graduate degree. I've heard a number of stories about people who secured scholarship and ended up being stranded on the other side, some other few unluckily got ripped of their hard earned funds, no thanks to the horde of greedy scammers who pose as travel agents. A number of people started their career here in Nigeria off an enviable footing, some started with Top auditing firms (KPMG, PWC, Ernst and Young ) IOCS (Halliburton, shell, chevron) among others and even scaled the ladder of their career through to the top as managers and directors, yet, jettison such an enviable and breathtaking career growth for a post graduate degree most often, with an hope to switch to the academic sector. Questions 1) How did you go about it? 2) How easy was it for you in respect to the rigors faced during the course? 3) Is a track of excellent academic record and stellar grades a must? 4) And looking back, do you think it's was worth it towing the path in question? 5) Are Exams like IELTS, GRE and GMAT needed? Please share your experiences, both good and bad. |

From your experience chief, is one penalised for registering with another email but bearing the same name and surname? leks4sure: I have been watching everyone here but I just do laugh it off without saying anything but it's high time I informed you guys what's up
STATEMENT 1 What I could discover from this recruitment is that those that have gotten ODVI scored a perfect score in their cognitive test and work style or personality test. There is no point benchmarking them as they scored all or at least 90% correct.
STATEMENT 2 Those that have received regret mail failed their personality test. I don't think there is anyone that chose strongly agree all through in the personality test that has received regret mail. so since they fail the personality test, the system didn't bother considering their cognitive test scores.
STATEMENT 3 Those yet to to receive regret mail passed their personality but their cognitive tests have been benchmarked for now. But I can say only very few will get considered after the benchmarking stage for ODVI. Shell would most likely get back to those waiting on or before Friday.
NB: My above statements were drawn from personal fact and reality from at least 5 shell WhatsApp groups I belong to. I personally applied on Monday 08/07/2019 and completed the tests on 10/07/2019 and got the ODVI invite on 14/07/2019 which I have since completed. I already have screenshots even before applying which made my test scores to be perfect. One of my demo accounts I applied with passed the personality test just because I chose strongly agree all through but I click anyhow answers without reading questions while taking screenshots just to be fast with it, yet I'm yet to get regret mail with that demo account as well which confirm my STATEMENT 3. |

The statement is correct, for the working style questions, if you get negative feedback in more than 2 sections of the working styles (you can see the feedback in page 2 of the cubiks report) you automatically fail the working styles test, i.e you don't match what shell are looking for gcardcodes: Bro I Dont think I support your Statement two and three.
I think those that got the regret mail failed their part A assessment
Part B assessment is your working style and it is just to know how you work and interact with people. I am not it can be used in moving someone to the next stage. The picture below may explain better.

ODVI is not stage two, it is part of STAGE 1 Kenny4smart: Baba, I still can't stop expressing doubt on the veracity of this your purpoted evidence. It was explicitly stated this time that the on demand video interview is stage 2 of the application process. So why the stage one in your mail.
However, I still don't want to imagine that you're fooling yourself because that will be the greatest disservice you or any other idiot can do to themselves here.
I pity the gullible ones who are senselessly giving credence to your fallacious screenshot... I pray God help you all. |
