This is the exhilarating moment fearless skydivers were seen plummeting head first towards the ground during a mid-air trickshot. During the spectacular stunt, captured in Houston, Texas, the skydivers are seen jumping from a plane before holding hands and forming a large circle in the sky. With the formation complete, more skydivers are seen taking the plunge and diving head first through the floating target. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6269481/Daredevils-perform-awesome-trick-plummet-rings-fellow-skydivers.html

“In spite of being in an inhospitable desert, Concordia is highly attractive to researchers from different fields such as astronomy and human physiology” “We are using it to study human adaptation to what is very similar to future conditions of a Moon or Mars base” “Also, thanks to a project conducted here, we now know that greenhouse gas levels have never been so high in atleast the past 800,000 years”

At 14,000,000 square kilometres (5,400,000 square miles), Antarctica is the fifth-largest continent. For comparison, Antarctica is nearly twice the size of Australia. About 98% of Antarctica is covered by ice that averages 1.9 km (1.2 mi; 6,200 ft) in thickness. Cyprien Verseux is a glaciologist and astrobiologist, currently working on the most remote scientific base in the world, Concordia Station in Antarctica. Even the International Space Station, 400km above the Earth, is closer to civilization than this place, deep in the icy wastes of our most isolated and inhospitable continent. When not busy collecting samples and doing research, Cyprien keeps a blog to share his experience of living in this extreme environment. The lack of oxygen and barren, desert landscape make the scientists feel like they are living on another planet. “It is the coldest area on Earth, with temperatures reaching below -80°C in winter,” he explained. 'Sometimes, we go three months without sun' “We are currently 13 people. Technicians, scientists, a cook and a medical doctor” https://www.boredpanda.com/cooking-food-antarctica-cyprien-verseux/?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C9752603381 Lalasticlala, Mynd44

Thousands of children have been told to stay at home today after a council closed four schools because they were invaded by Britain's deadliest spiders. Newham Council in east London has evacuated two primaries and two secondary schools to treat the invasion of False Widow Spiders 'immediately, before the eggs start hatching'. False Widow Spiders, the UK's most poisonous arachnid, are dark-coloured with globular bodies and range from 9.5 to 14 mm in size.
