APC and Lai Mohammed can not influence that one with propganda and lies. How living human beings voted for this man still baffles me.
A man who topple a govt in 1983 and in 10months ruined the economy to the extent that nigerians were now queueing for cups of salt, sugar, rice, garri and other essential commodities.

Okechukwu,we don't understand this your kind of marriage. You've been married since 2001(I remember when you brought your sister-inlaws to a tv program you did with julius agwu in enugu then) but since 2001 till date she has been living permanently in canada while you live your life here in Nigeria.
If you love her as you too are quick to show off on social media, why can't she forsake the goodlife of canada and join you permanently here(since she loves you so much) or you forsake you career here and join her there(if you love her that much than your career).

Please,my point is this: Stop this media facade and display and go build your marriage

PoliticsThe Fulani Herdsmen Massacre, buhari And The Shame Of 'educated Christians' by eyeview(op): 3:47pm On Apr 26, 2016
Am not a bit shocked at Buhari's attitude towards the uninhibited decimation of lives and communities.
The man has never hidden his stand and disdain for a region of the nation or other religions.
Personally,I don't blame him. It's what he stands for. I respect muslims for one thing, when an issue is placed before them, their religion plays a key role in their decision making process, regardless of their level of education, exposure and enlightenment. A typical northern muslim can hardly vote a christian over their 'brother',even if the christian presents a better chance of improving their live.
My disappointment, however, goes to christians who have become 'too educated'. Those are the ones that will be jettison their faith and tried to rationalise everything from 'am enlightened' view point. These are the people whom even if you had warned them before now that Buhari is a core tribal bigot that will not bert an eyelid as fulanis decimate lives and communities but will even from far away countries instantly order the bombing of niger delta vandal in the creeks, would laugh you into scorn with such excuses as 'nobody can play an islamic card in this present day nigeria','Buhari can not be partial against other tribes and religions in this present dispensation', even Rochas Okorocha while calling on christians and igbos to vote Buhari then promised that 'Buhari can not maltreat igbos or play ethnic card with the likes of him in the party'.
Since his inauguration,Buhari had never hidden his interest to play full blown ethnic bigotry. From his heavily lopsided appointments to his comments. The height of it was that a president who swore by his holy book to treat the whole nation equally opened his mouth and stated that there was no way he would treat the '97%' that voted for him equally with the '5%'(mathematical errors are his,not the writer's) that didn't vote for him. At that point I sought the views of those christians(especially the igbos) and they couldn't come up with any defence for their Buhari. Mbaka has gone silent all of a sudden.
I am not a fan of former President Goodluck Jonathan, but one of the biggest mysteries I've ever seen is how Nigerians looked at a man who constantly stated that 'his ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian' and stated that they will vote a man who promised that if he lost again 'dogs and baboons will be soaked in blood', a man who past electoral losses was always followed by shedding of innocent bloods(eg that of youth corp members) by these same fulani miscreants. A man who boko haram at the height of their decimation then by the military sued for negotiation and appointed Buhari to be their representative at the negotiation. How Nigerians still went for such a man is one of the mysteries I've seen under the sun.
Now,those that were ridiculed, scorned and lambasted for 'prophesying' that Buhari's emergence will lead to the start of an ethnic cleansing have been justified while those people who felt too educated to heed warnings have shut up their mouths. Sometimes,I wish it were such people's villages that these 'cleansing' took place.
As for these south east and south west states that had in recent times fallen victims to these massacres,I think their region's governors should convey an emergency meeting and come up with a 7day ultimatum for all the herdsmen to leave the region till a proper agreement is sealed with the hausa/fulani communities in their various states. And part of the agreement shall state that those hausa/fulani communities will be held responsible for any influx of miscreants into their midst.
But for now, permit me to state that if you are non-muslim and you were well informed of Buhari's bigotry but you waved it aside and went ahead and voted for him, then you deserve a portion of blame for the ethnic and religious division growing in the nation today.

PoliticsRe: Sack Fashola, Amaechi Now, CNPP Tells Buhari by eyeview: 3:01pm On Apr 25, 2016
DIKEnaWAR:
The topic should have been: Confusion hits CNPP and PMB at same time.

Amaechi and Co are not PMB's problem. PMB is his own problem. "Seest thou a man who is wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fo.ol than him."

As long as Buhari remains our all-knowing President who does no wrong and has the answer to all our problems, his Ministers will never live to their full potentials. They will always lurk in his shadow; afraid to 'make noise' and be termed 'noise makers'. Ther are scared stiff of bringing their ideas to governance.

Kachikwu might be failing as a Minister, but at least he tries to proffer solution and bring new ideas to his Ministry. The rest are dead cats.

Fashola is only interested in his elitist policy of working against the poor masses. He has already increased electricity tariff and is gunning for another increase. Ask him and he'll point to advanced countries and compare the tariff. What he won't tell you is that our minimum wage is #18,000 and minimum electricity bill is #7,000. He won't also tell you that people are owed salaries here for up to one year. Mumu at work, yet some clowns are applauding him.

News is beginning to emerge on how the FCT Minister went round bribing and compromising the security operatives and INEC personnel in the recently concluded FCT area council elections. That is a dead looking Minister that goes to work to clock in time, say his prayers as at when due and leave for home. The FCT has become a shadow of what it was under El rufai. Even Bala Mohammed is being missed with his tales by moonlight style of administering the FCT.

CNPP should rather call for the resignation of this cabinet...and PMB. Let Osinbajo handle it the rest of the way. We can't afford to waste our 4 years under Buhari. He has shown not to know what modern governance is all about.
You are very very correct sir. Your post is by far the best comment(devoid of partisanship) I've read in recent time.
The truth is that all of buhari's cabinet needs a total overhaul including the minister of petroleum himself. There is no single ministry that seems to have made an inch of progress. Ibe Kachukwu is trying to raise his head but its obvious that the challenges far outweight his capabilities.
Lai Mohammed wanted to start with a bang but because every step(or lie) he took got him into further trouble,he quietly backed away and went into oblivion.
If am to score these minister's performance so far,I'll give them a total of 9%(9 over 100).

PoliticsHow To Identify A Zombie by eyeview(op): 12:48am On Apr 23, 2016
There are seven important ways of identifying a zombie on any forum. They exhibit similar traits and exhibit a reoccuring symptoms which is traceable to them all.
These include:

1,When presented with facts for brainstorming and quality arguments, they resort to insults and name calling.

2,The moment you present clear facts to prove the abysmal performance of this administration, they seek to derail the topic by resorting to diversionary posts .

3,They are always looking at the past. For eg,if you tell a zombie that the price of goods has gone up in the market and you dare ask what Buhari is doing about it,their answer will always start with 'what did Jonathan do...'

4, They always live in denial. You can leave a zombie in power outage for weeks, cut him off fuel supply for months, deduct money from his accounts, increase his power tariff by over 70% with even a deteoriating power supply, double the cost of goods and services and so on,but a zombie will feign ignorance to all those indices and continue glorifying their 'messiah'.

5, A zombie will blame everything and everybody else for their woes but their leaders. For the government's failure in the power sector, they blame pipeline vandals. For the persistent fuel scarcity, they blame the oil marketers. For the free fall of the naira to an unprecedented low, they turn and blame the nigerians for not patronising 'made in naija' goods. For the increase in the cost of foodstuffs, they blame the youths for not embracing farming and agriculture(even when their leaders secretly slot their own kids into the CBN). At a point, the national chairman of APC for want of a new person to blame, turned and blamed God for their poor performance.

6,They are mostly shallow in their thinking and lack the intellectual capacity for indepth reasoning. You will be shocked to hear arguments like 'PDP ruined this nation for the past 16years and now the APC led by men like Amaechi, Audu Ogbe, Gemade, Saraki, Atiku, El-Rufai,Solomon Lalong and co will now have to fix it. You begin to wonder if they know that PDP is a mere name and can not run an economy. Those who are touted to have ruined the economy in this past 16years are now the men on whom this new administration rely on to salvage the same economy. Most don't know that 13 of the present ministers in this govt were past PDP office holders.

7,They resort to breezy optimism. Be sure that a zombie in the face of all these economic woes will express optimistic but baseless statements like 'there is light at the end of the tunnel','this government will succeed' even when the Presidency clearly doesn't know how to solve the countless lingering problems.

Please,in the course of discussion in any forum and you see a person exhibiting these and more of these symptoms, you are please advised not to enter into an argument with such a person, they can be confrontational and derogatory, please slowly back away from such a fellow. It is in your best interest to avoid reasoning with such fellow. They can be armed and dangerous(with insults and verbal attacks).
CrimeRe: Fulani Herdsmen Kidnap DELSU Staff, Demand N5m Ransom : VANGUARD by eyeview: 8:03am On Apr 22, 2016
That's how boko haram started. They started by kidnapping and receiving ransoms. The security agencies treated it with kids gloves, not knowing that it was a source of funding for their arms acquisition. By the time they went into full scale terrorism, the security forces were left wondering how they were able to purchase the kind of arms they carried.
Now,these fulani herdsmen have started kidnapping and picking ransom and nobody is raising eyebrow. They will soon resurface with sophistcated arms in those various states and we will be shocked again

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Are Missing Goodluck Jonathan by eyeview: 8:53am On Apr 21, 2016
Sometimes I wish there's a way for those of us who voted him to still live in his era,
1,Get dollars at N202 while those who supported this change will get it at this N320
2,buy fuel as often as we used to while those that supported this change can queue from 2am for theirs as they are doing now
3,pay the past electricity tarriff of N13.20 while those that brought in this govt can go ahead and pay the new tarriff of N21.30 which fashola introduced on assumption without any commensurate improvement in power supply(remember that he was stating that once nigerians allowed the increase, there will be regular supply, now he has since increased it to share the mark up with cronies and instead of improve,it has far deteoriated)
4, Have more regular power supply as we used to under GEJ(last saw power supply 3days ago) while their voters and fans can continue in this their change of a darkness.
5,And above all buy things in the market at the rate we used to under GEJ and then let all those who voted for this 'change' receive the same goods and saervices at the new rate they had dragged us all into.
Let them enjoy their change alone,we don't want.
Buhari lacks the mental and intellectual resources needed to fare better than GEJ. Nigerians are only asking that he quietly get all the indices back to how it was handed over to him and get away from there by 2019. A man that toppled a thriving democratic govt in 1983 and in 10months,nigerians were queueing to receive salt, sugar, rice and other 'essential commodities' clearly shows that he has that magic touch to kill anything he touches.
