Not really. But some of us have lived in Lagos for years but has never really adopted that 'mind your business life' of Lagos,so I still find myself stopping to help out where I perceive injustice on the part of these officials.

The worst of it all is that a lastma official would arrange with a towing truck driver and about 2 touts and they'll be driving around looking for innocent people to victimise. Sometimes,when you are busy explaining to the lastma official your right,the touts would be busy jerking your car and even fighting in you in the process. Its so sad that they will see a helpless woman whose car is in trouble and requires help,they'll just jump down and start towing away her car!
And from their modus operandi,you will definetly know that its just their 'personal runs.'

When PDP was in power,they operated a highly federated system,sharing their resources,offices and allocations across the 36states.
APC comes in and adopts this strange method of 'allocation according to votes.' APC is going to spell doom and bad blood and disaffection in the nation that has never been seen before.
I may not be a fan of the pdp but they ran the most detribalised and federal system of governance. This divide and rule system of the north using the APC will not go down well for the peace and unity of the nation.

I really feel for igbos in Nigeria. They find themselves in the most precarious situation.
If any person from the south-south does a wrong,the igbos are attacked by the rest of the nation and you won't hear the south-south refute it but when a good thing happens to the south-south(eg political appointment),they quickly jump u and say we are not igbos,we are niger-delta!
If a yoruba man is defrauded by an hausa,he will turn to the igboman and abuse him.
And all the igboman wants is to be left alone to do his business,they don't control the govt,they are hardly in key decision positions,yet most people won't let them be.

Its as if a strategic positioning is gradually taking place as a build up for a hostile attack and domination.

Everyday I get to see some 'hustler' girls claiming Nollywood actress even when nobody can rightly point at any film they acted.
