This senile old man should try and shut up for once. Is he the only past president? Why don't he take a cue from IBB,Abdulsalamm, shonekan,Gowon etc and see how neutral and mature statemen approach the issue of partisan politics. |
GEJ can stand alone in the midst of foreign diplomats and represent, GMB needs the backing of his party men to guide him from 'falling our hand' |
Look, there's no greater oath than the one you make at the altar which starts with "I....do solemnly swear to take this woman.... to be my lawful wedded wife?" If you aren't ready for that, then don't go into any other form of oath. Oaths are covenants which are binding on you forever wherever you may go. They are not to be taken lightly. But why would you date another man's daughter for 3years without marrying her? What more are you looking for in her? Don't you children of this generation fear God at all? |
But I thought there were some photos that were released some weeks ago where it was shown where Buhari was handing over his farm in daura to the son to manage while he (buhari) goes over to Abuja on presidential duties. Does it mean the pics were lies or has the boy abandoned the cows to join the dad in Abuja. Pls,I didn't see this boy during the elections when other youths were campaigning for the dad. Even in daura,it was only Buhari and the wife that even voted. |
Why didn't Tambuwal resign when he dumped PDP and joined APC? Ekweremadu will resign but that'll be in 2019 |
Yes,they can. If they genuinely confess their sins early before they meet their maker. If not, they'll go to hell. Selah. |
BushidoBlue:I want to assume that I fully understand your assumption. Please let me know when they assume some new assumptions,am assuming that the assumers will create some new assumptions. |
victoreltemur:When you hand over in oFfice,do you also hand over your personal belongings? Bullet proof cars license are given by the NSA and he was the NSA! I know some private individuals who own up to 5bullet proof cars,is it now a crime? Are u now attacking him for treason or corruption. Let's be more objective in reasoning. Even if they found 50bullet proof cars, its EFCC that should trace and prove how he embezzled the money for them,if not DSS can't be prosecuting on that. |
duni04:Please,where was it stated that the cars were bought at the twilight of his career. I need you to prove to us that you know when those cars were purchased. Am not a fan of the man,I would like him to be prosecuted for treason if found to be a boko-haram sponsor or such, or threatening the security of nigeria (eg coup planing)but not these flimsy reports. That their search operation was a flop by all security standards. |
duni04:'Anyone who wants to own one must get a special permit from the office of the NSA'. And who was the NSA? Think! 'He converted them to personal use'. The DSS never stated that, don't assume for them just to be sensational. '9 bullet proof cars' Without holding brief for him, this man has been in govt favour since mid -80's,holding one lucrative office or the other. Besides,he being the son of late sultan of sokoto gives him some priviledge that had pecuniary financial benefits in it. Let's just be objective and only comment based on what the DSS released, not what we assume or read in Linda Ikeji or anyother blog |
duni04:'They were PROBABLY' purchased for thr FG'. You are now working on your own assumption. So the man should be prosecuted based on the assumption you cooked up from your room? The DSS in their report did not state it was a govt car which he converted. They are his personal properties. If they were official cars, they would have stated it. Let us be more objective than letting our own emotions rule us. This is a case of giving a dog a bad name to hang it. Everybody from their homes are sending in their own bad names fit for the dog(all from assumptions),just to see it hung. Please, stick with what the DSS released and not your own probabilities. Happy sunday. |
gsalvatore:Very brilliant and objective write-up. I was hoping the SSS to tell us how they saw mails or items linking him to boko-haram or how he was planning to topple this government. Instead they are telling us that he owns 12cars with 9 as bullet proofs. And how they saw some riffles in the home of a former military officer who just stepped down as NSA. Are the cars a threat to the security of the nation. What is treasonable about the things in his home? And yet somepeople here are finding it extremely impossible to read and reason objectively. |
Pangea:Please, the DSS has just released their statement which we have all read. Can you kindly point at where it was written that he was accused of diverting the funds while the troops die at the front. Don't try to be ahead of the constituted authorities just to be sensational. |
Based on this statement from DSS,they got nothing on this man. Are they now the EFCC to prosecute the man for having 12cars or for having 5 bullet-proof cars from 'tax payers' money? Or are the bullet proof cars now a security threat to the nation. The got nothing to prosecute him on threat to nation's security, really. |
bushdoc9919:I have no problem with the tribe but effeciency of service but my question is this: if the president was igbo and he dug into the igbo tribe to appoint the best and most qualified men of igbo extraction, do you think every other tribe will be interested in the best service he can deliver? Honestly... |
Its when you'll get to the hall from your hostel and after the runing arounds to settle down, you'll then realize that your feet had sweated and has cleaned your expo. Na then Nepa go come take light for inside your head. |
This tribe is synonymous with traditional evil worships, ritual, occultism, idol worships, fetish practices, demonic strongholds, diabolic beliefs and actions, ritual dens, etc. Am not a bit surprised. When will they start fearing God. Imagine innocently travelling thru this town as an albino, they will pursue you till they kill you to appease a certain 'river demon'. |
asha80:In his first tenure,Rochas demolished a lot of buildings in the capital and in some villages to construct new and wider roads. The road projects were later abandoned till date. So road, dem no see, their houses dem no see. So I guess they have the right to be suspicious of the governor. |
Imo people, You voted Rochas, Please endure the consequences of your action. |
Proffdada:Those were the masters. It takes skill and craft to achieve that feat. There's a way you'll twist your thumb with your index finger and fire the shot to create that spinning C movement of the ball. |
I have seen a number of posts bringing back old memories of this game 'table soccer'. As the memories of the fun flashed back,so was the seriousness which we put to the game. It wasn't just a game played with bottle corks,it was far much more than that and I believe some people can identify as I list some of the 'extra miles' we went for the love of the game. For the fun of it I'll like to share a few of mine. 1, Structured after the super eagles(the senior team) I had a senior team made up of Golden Guinea beer (or was it bergedoff)corks 2, Like the flying eagles(middle level team),I had a team comprised of a malt drink(I think maltina or malta guiness) 3, And structured after the golden eaglets,I had a team from the soft drink brands. 4, The rarer the brand of drink, the more unique and exotic your team appeared,so many of us would be roaming from streets to streets with our eyes glued to the floor looking for corks of drinks like ginger ale, parle soda, 33, monarc, fanta chapman etc. Getting 11 of such was like buying foreign players! I guess we were 'scouting'. 5, Their tour bus was empty packs of St. Louis sugar which automatically transforms into the goal posts on arrival at the match stadium. 6, For their kits,we spared no expense. They are usually laced with 'boots' made from the round edges of the inner seal of the cork. For effective shots,we usually laced them with double boots, that way their shots had more power. 7, A round bolt is usually placed on top of each cork and lightly hammered till they are roundly and smoothly caved in. This would ensure that they are firm on the ground and reduces the chance of 'hand ball' which happens when the cork covers the entire ball. 8, For their jersey numbers,we'll cut the digits(from 1 to 11) from the calendar and glue it on the corks. 9, For my two backmen then, the nos 2 & 3,I'll not hit them in like others but turn them downwards up and fill their inside with melting candle wax and let it cool and solidify inside them. That way,no shot from the opponents can push them into the post when they stand beside the keeper. They can't be pushed around by others(those were the days defenders had to be huge). 10, We had tournaments in the street and even in school where we had knock out stages till the finalist emerged and played. The winner get to lift a trophy crafted from an empty plastic bottle of parazone bleach wrapped in many gold cellophine foils from St. Moritz cigarrette pack! Those were the days.

Madam, Did you or did you not inflict those injuries on his body? Simple question. No need releasing a press statement without addressing the issues bothering on your infidelity and physical assault. |
Everyday we hear news of fresh sacks by the president. Please Mr President, Don't sack if you aren't ready to appoint. Its creating vaccums in the system. Quick to sack, very slow to refill. |
Now his head will be calm. When he gets home(cos they will lay him off for redundancy) and his kinsmen ask him what happened,he will tell them that he was jumping into a bus to collect egunje that is not his birthright and in the process caused the accident that cut his hand. Stupid policemen. Somebody should go to that hand on the floor and put N20 note in it for his troubles. |

IlekeHD:The curse now jumped and passed the igbos to land on the oba's kinsmen?! Wow! Note that those whom the Lord has blessed,no man can curse. |
I don't understand Aregbesola and APC's baseless and useless accusation. Did Aregbesola plan to pay worker's salaries and PDP stopped him? Did the PDP stop Aregbesola from receiving his monthly allocation from the federation account? Why didn't he pay the state workers when he was receiving their allocation? The speaker should be encouraged by the people to mobilize his house and impeach the governor and his deputy and then take over the saddle. Aregbesola's stay is beoming an insult to the nation's collective intelligence. |
Its obvious that Their Governor Their Governor has failed His people His people |
scribble:....An angry kid. |
When the APC won the 2015 elections, the yorubas turned on the igbos and started mocking and making jest of them at every turn. They wouldn't let the south east and south-south regions rest cos they turned the victory into a tribal victory not minding the fact that many people from these regions also voted for the 'change'. I laughed cos I knew that while they laughed at the short run,the northern oligarchy had planned to oust them in the long run and have the last laugh. I definetly knew it would get to this stage where the carpet will be swept off their feet and they'll be left in regrets but I didn't know it will this soon. Before the next one year VP Osibanjo will be left most irrelevant and Tinubu's camp of APC dimnished. |
PhockPhockMan:If there are people you shouldn't ever found exchanging words with, its that girl. Every of her being is filled with guile and bitterness. It will do you well to ignore any of her posts as most people do(didn't you notice that everyperson ignored and avoided her post),if not, she'll drag you down to her insult level and stain you. Cheers. |
Oga Rochas! Oga Rochas! No vex but you need to explain to us how the the INEC result sheets for the places you 'won' had most northern states like 'Katsina state' on them than 'Imo state'. |
