Temi231:Hi! I have followed your story and this is the main reason why you were banned. The Visa officer was referring to the past referral, and gave you another option at an interview, which you still denied. Canadian visa officers are quick to give you the five year ban for misrepresentation when you answer that particular question wrongly, in most cases they give you a letter to explain/an interview in your case, before they make a decision or just sent you depending on the officer's discretion. Also, I want you to know that this is a case of misrepresentation, it's not just as easy as you think, even the USA embassy might be aware of your ban. I would advise you to wait your ban for five years, you can reapply, and try to explain yourself, but it would be hard, because you had a previous opportunity. To everyone else, filling out a Canadian visa application form is different from other countries, I would advise people do it themselves and be sincere, from inception, Canadians are thorough. |
Pearl05:The curved bend at the back is as a result of increased lumbar lordosis. This is normal when seen in pregnancy, as a result of the growing foetus, however, you need to adopt correct bending, sleeping and other techniques, used in carrying out regular activities of daily living. This is because, an excessive increase in the lordotic curve is one of the precursors to low back pain commonly seen in pregnant women. Try to adopt an erect posture, as much as you can, don't force yourself, or go overboard with this, all things being equal, after pregnancy, you get the straight elegant back. |
Lemonadewifey:Hi! It seems like you have pregnancy induced hypertension, and with an history of miscarriage, you need better medical care. Please change hospital, preferably request to see an obstetrician (if a private hospital), or go to a general hospital. In the process of seeing a new medical personnel, let them be aware of your past medical history, express your concerns to them, and ensure that steps are taken. You would be monitored, and everything will be managed. I wish you all the best. |
Beauideal:I sponsored my spouse, and it took roughly a year. AVO is peculiarly known to have a timeline of one year minimum for spousal sponsorship. For the documents required, you need to study the application package with your spouse, so many proofs and supporting documents are required to prove that your relationship is genuine. I submitted random photographs, including few of our wedding pictures, evidence of on going communication (WhatsApp/emails/Facebook messages), evidence of my trips to Nigeria, copies of my entry and exit stamps on my passport, wedding program and invitation card, evidence of financial support, letters from friends and family members, evidence of joint bank account, I can't remember all again. You can apply for a visit visa, while spousal sponsorship application is on, but AVO rarely grants such visas. Ensure that you read through the application package, because changes are made from time to time, and if you make any mistakes, the application is returned to your spouse in Canada, till the error is fixed. |
Iyamefa:My dear Canadian mama, I know that drug, you feel good when you withdraw for a few days, but when the MS recoups ehn, you would be worse than ever. Please try to get the drug back, you would know when to stop finally. It will get better, I have a lot of food aversions, even in second trimester, I don't even bother again, I just eat to survive. |
Milaby:Oh wow! See my people, I'm in Calgary too, and with the winter, I dare not take room temperature water. I still use ice cubes in my water, less I vomit, and I am 20 weeks plus. |
Hi everyone!!! I appreciate everyone's posts here, it makes me feel that I am not alone, I pray we all deliver safely in Jesus name. FTM here, EDD is March 31, 2019. Gender of baby not yet checked. cc: Rbae |
oluswagger:You most likely went through Ethiopian airlines, the Dublin change and stopover is not considered a transit point for passengers. You don't come out of the plane, only the crew is changed and the plane is refueled. Regular layover requires you changing planes, and sometimes, passing through passport and boarder control. |
StNonsky:I have seen it happen! It's just an overzealous visa officer. Most likely when you are young, single and with no travel history, I know someone the visa officer kept questioning how she got the PR, as a young lady at 26, what scheme she came to Canada through, did she study in Canada, and because the husband wasn't in town, was denied, Infact the visa officer asked for the husband's job, both of them were pharmacists, under 30, and the visa officer thought they were trying to go get licensed in the USA. She was a PR, two years in Canada with a pharmacy assistant job. Please, don't give it too much thought, it happens, if it is nothing important, keep your money jare, when you become a Canadian citizen, you go there. |
Oopsy:If you apply as unaccompanying, you would have to sponsor your spouse and wait a minimum of twelve months, which is exhausting and emotionally wrecking. You would deal with Accra visa office, and go through the stress. Your application would be treated under spousal sponsorship criteria, and it is no joke. You might get frustrated along the way, and have to make numerous trips to Nigeria? Are you ready to Count the cost? |
Hi everyone! Thanks to everyone who has been contributing to the thread! I would be traveling to Calgary via Ethiopian airlines, and will be paying for an extra luggage. The trip to Calgary from Toronto would be with air Canada, would I need to pay for the extra luggage again at Toronto, or just present receipt given at the Lagos international airport. I am getting different views, please people who came in through Ethiopian airlines, with extra luggage, and went beyond Toronto, I need your responses. Thank you. |
