DropShot:How can you substantiate that claim?? |
golor:I pity your flagrant display of ignorance. I believe u were waiting to buy fuel at the rate of #40 but to ur disappointment its #145. The fact is that govt can't pay min wage across board n fuel pump price will continue to soar. Please let's not pretend because it's "baba". It's beyond seating or unseating any political party. God bless us all. |
Why would she be on their list while her father is a pastor? |
AfroKnight:U have d right to be tired but u need to know d details of the margin u r talking about. Graduate nurses still don't proceed on internship after backing their BNSc. Why? Instead of being employed at grade level 10 most of them struggle at 8. Why? Nurses are not allowed to skip level 11. Why? |
So his wristwatch will also tell us the time of rapture? |
The major problem is that our society seem to be breeding more of children who care less about hardwork and integrity.Instead of lashing this man with our words I think we should look more inward. #team celebrate hardwork. |
Will you ever get all you wanted? |
Our help is in the Name of the Lord. Who made the Heavens and the Earth!!! |
Catholicism does not and I dont think will accept artificial contraception but catholics don't procreates aimlessly. Northern politicians use this to argue for "equitable" allocations. But in real sense the people that proliferates themselves don't even get this "equitable" allocation. What's bad is bad. |
TOEFL scores are valid for two years after the test date and there is no limit to the number of times you can take the test, ... How is that different to jamb? And what is wrong if jamb is decentralized to institutions? |
I'm currently doing NYSC in a hospital in the north. Frankly speaking, every Monday at least 500 women and their lethargic malnourished children queue for fortified milk from SAVE THE CHILDREN org. Truly speaking you can't look at them twice cos their skin is peeled off due to hypovitaminosis etc. Is this the will of Allah? or God?? U must not accept contraceptives but apply simple logic and self restraint. |

Please let's be careful with spreading this kind of news. Many uneducated Nigerians can misconstrue it. God Bless Nigeria. |
SHOULD TOLL FEES BE CHARGED? Looking at the rampant preventable accidents associated with the use of roads and bridges primarily orchestrated by poor maintenance in Nigeria. Can it change government and societal maintenance culture? |
My brother I think the right thing is bare but you still might need some reminders. Firstly, your internal drive must be considered. Nothing can replace it. Secondly, your financial constraints. I graduated last 2years from unijos. It will b a setup to say I didn't spent much. I had to sell one of my textbooks (MEDICOSURGICAL NURSING) worth of #10,000 in my last semester. So please seek your father's support anyway possible. Thirdly, nursing in Nigeria is not close to the one you watch in Gray's Anatomy etc...so many intra and inter professional gray areas. If U Have The PASSION u will never regret it. Good luck. |
I wish him a happy ending. |
allanphash7:I hail the gurus but I wish u could come out with more solutions to corruption, power, economy, the perpetual fuel scarcity and the endless list of the Nigerian ills. |
When will I meet up with this LNG criteria? especially dis international passport of a thing. |

I don't know how u will react to this piece! Graduates of pharmacy do internship for 1 year after 5 yrs of study. Same holds for med. lab. scientists, nutritionists, physiotherapists, doctors, and radiologists BUT graduates of nursing science are denied such privilege in the same health team. To me is surprising but dat is the reality as of now. |

Try to avoid plagiarism as you do that. |
Ur post was indeed awesome. I wish we internalize n practice them. *Nigeria probably have the best policies in theory* |

A growing body of research suggests that chemicals in everyday products may put us at risk for health problems – from infertility and birth defects to certain types of cancer. Infact, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now monitors a total of 298 environmental chemicals that have been found in humans, including many used in consumer products. These chemicals can gradually build up in the body, potentially making you sick. While it’s impossible to avoid exposure to all environmental chemicals, there are ways to rid your home of many of these potential toxins. Here are 10 items you may want to avoid buying, toss or replace: 1. Plastic food containersEver wonder why clear plastic containers turncloudy after running through the dishwasher a few times? Plastic breaks down over time, and this breakdown can release dangerous chemicals into your food. Many plastic containers are made from chemicals including phthalates, which act as endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs). Switch to glass containers. 2. Prepared foods in plastic containersYou don’t necessarily have to toss these, but don’t heat them up in the plastic. Heating plastic can release chemicals that seep into your food. It’s well worth your time to take a few extra seconds to transfer prepared foods into a glass container before heating them in the microwave. 3. Nonstick pansMany nonstick pans contain trace amounts ofa chemical called perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), which has been shown to cause cancer in laboratory animals. The pans’ non-stick lining can scratch or chip off into your food. Instead, use cast iron or stainless steel cookware, and natural, non-stick sprays such as olive oil. 4. Air freshenersI never allow artificial air fresheners in my home. Anything you breathe in eventually ends up in your bloodstream. Plug-in scents or synthetically scented candles many contain chemicals called phthalates, which have been linked to reproductive problems. Instead, choose candles made with essential oils and fresh flowers to scent your home. Also, try using baking soda and white vinegaras odor absorbers. 5. PerfumesThe one-word ingredient “perfume” can translate to a product containing upwards of 300 chemical ingredients. (Perfume companies won’t release lists of exact ingredients for fear of divulging secrets to their competitors.) Avoid perfumes and colognes or switch to products that are scented with natural oils. 6. Fabric and upholstery protection spraysStain blockers essentially create an invisible plastic barrier over your furniture. This plasticwill eventually wear off and be released into your home environment. Instead, simply clean stains as necessary rather than trying to prevent them. 7. Cleaning productsCheck the labels of cleaning products for chemical ingredients such as phthalates and chemical surfactants. Natural products like baking soda, Borax, soap powder, vinegar, lemon and hot water work just as well withoutcoating your home in toxins. 8. CosmeticsFrom shampoo to lipstick, the average American woman applies up to 12 personal care items, and the average man up to six, to their skin each day. That adds up to roughly 126 unique ingredients, according to the Environmental Working Group, a public healthadvocacy organization. Opt for cosmetics with mineral-based pigments and natural oils. Choose soaps and shampoos free of synthetic fragrances and chemicals such as triclosan, which has been found in animal studies to alter hormone regulation. 9. AntiperspirantsMany antiperspirants use aluminum-based compounds and other chemicals, which are absorbed into the sweat glands. While there are ongoing studies on possible health impacts of antiperspirants, I advise avoiding any chemicals that are absorbed into the body for non-medical purposes. You can find aluminum-free antiperspirants, and there are many chemical-free brands of natural deodorant sticks and sprays that don’t contain parabens and all ingredients with ‘PEG’ in their name (such as PEG-8 and PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil). 10. Sunscreens with oxybenzoneResearch on animals suggests that chemicals in some sunscreens, including oxybenzone, may cause health problems when they penetrate the skin. The safest sunscreens are made from minerals such as zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, but they can be very expensive. In general, avoid aerosol spray sunscreens, which you can accidentally inhale, as well as sunscreens containing chemical ingredients such as oxybenzone, octinoxate, retinyl palmitate (a form of vitamin A), and fragrances.Beware of ‘Natural’ IngredientsWhen you’re looking for safer products, keep in mind that term “natural” means almost nothing in the food and cosmetics industry, as it’s not regulated by the FDA. Instead, look for “organic” labeling, because organic ingredients are federally monitored, and reallymean something in the food and cosmetics world.A good start in finding a safer products for yourself and your home is to avoid items containing parabens or -sulfates (such as sodium lauryl sulfate or sodium laureate sulfate) or items labeled “fragrance” or “parfum.”Of course, it may not be practical for you to toss all of these items at once. Instead, try swapping out one product at a time with a safer version. Even small steps to minimize your chemical exposures can create a healthier and safer home. |
