NigeriaIsDoomed: You want to compare that pit toilet called Ibadan with the largest city in Igboland? Comedy must be your calling bros. For your information, I am an Akwa Ibom guy and have spent a number of years in both cities. Trust me, Ibadan is 99% slummy, filthy and reeks of poverty unlike Enugu city that is littered with clean, modern and beautiful estates.
Comparing that pit toilet with Enugu city is wickedness. Yes Ibadan is only big in size and nothing more. Nigeria is bigger than the United Kingdom in terms of size but it is 100 million years behind UK.
If Nigeria were working, Ibadan would have been nuked and rebuilt from the scratch. Una get mouth sha. What's this |

Family › Re: What Marriage Advice Would You Give Your Younger Self? by ezanafe(m): 9:43am On Jun 07, 2022 |
Angela62: I am married for about a decade now, and I am enjoying my marriage. Honestly, if the worse happens and I became a widow, I will not marry any other man, I will train my kids alone. That is how much I love my husband and cherish my marriage. Since childhood, I have always been close to my grandmother, I grew up with her since my mum died when I was a child. I learned a lot from her. I can still remember the advice she gave to me when I wanted to marry my husband, and I will tell you exactly that.
1. Look at the qualities and characters of the man you want to marry. Most ''shine shine'' men, as my grandma will put it are not the real men. `Just as sugar is sweet but unhealthy, lots of men are like that. That bricklayer that sends his mum money in the village every month, that doesn't go to a club, doesn't smoke and buy expensive designers, he might not even give you butterflies, those are the real men. Ten years from now when you are pregnant with your third child, his masculinity will be like an umbrella to protect, provide and be the best father for your kids.
But you see those ones that are doing fine boys only, care more about the phone they use and the girl they sleep with this weekend than their future, those you must avoid. They may be attractive now, but when the difficulties of marriage come especially financially, then you realize that truly, internal beauty (characters and virtues) is what keeps marriage. So do not sacrifice the future due to your youthful exuberance.
2. Look at his patterns, those are the secrets to his future and of course, your future. Does he wakes up and go to work every day? What is the relationship he has with his family? How does he handle stress? is he hardworking? Do people around him respect him? Where does he go after work? What is your assessment of his friends? `What are his goals? etc. You might be clouded with feelings with this assessment especially when you are in love, so you might ask people you trust for advice. I saw this thread some few years ago by pansophist, where he wrote about qualities you should look for in a man for marriage, I implore you to check it out. The guy is on point. As I read through it, I kept nodding my head in affirmation because my husband easily covered all these qualities.
https://www.nairaland.com/6257463/part-two-traits-woman-should
Also when I first met my husband, I wasn't that interested. He appears so ordinary (if you know what I mean), but as I scratch further, the depth of his manliness opens up. I was not attracted at first, but everything fell into place, and I was glad I didn't just brush him away. But I couldn't see his qualities quickly, it was my grandma that pointed it all out. So you should really have someone older, that have walked the talk of marriage, to advise and guide you.
3. Support him. Men are at their best when their wive are supportive. For example, my husband never asks me about my income, but every of my penny goes to my household. The idea that a man has to carry all the financial responsibilities is a self-defeating adventure. Such a woman punishes herself due to her short-sightedness and selfishness by reducing her worth in his eyes, making her easily replaceable. Thank you! |

Baba Sala, Lukuluku Bantashi, Baba Suwe, Jagoa and now Dejo Tunfulu
Remembering Dejo Tunfulus’ part with Lukuluku in the film “Yemi My Lover” Yeah. I can't forget in a hurry. I think the scene I remembered was Dejo Tunfulu and Lukuluku in a mechanic workshop. Dejo was saying and I quote "Lukuluku you wan smooth" If I remembered, Lukuluku was trying to make a bend spoke straight, using hammer on someone's windscreen as a surface to make the bend spoke straight. |

Dclique: Never update the software of your nokia phone. Leave it as it is. Updates often reduces the performance. The phone will start to hang and it becomes terribly slow overtime.
I've used 3 different Nokia phones in about 5 years and this is what i've noticed. I'm currently using Nokia 5.4 and i'm suffering from my mistake of upgrading to Android 11. To solve this issue after upgrading your Nokia phone, backup your files, and format the phone after upgrading to a higher OS. This will solve the issue of hanging or freezing. |

Very wicked referee. He was a definition of naked bias during his days.
I can never forget how he nakedly supported Manchester United in broad day light against Chelsea in every Premier League game during his career days as a referee.
He distributes yellow and red card at will to Chelsea players in order to weaken and restrain them from playing at their full potential, whenever Chelsea plays against Manchester United.
A true Chelsea fan must hate his man. |

MartinsD12: My friend nokia 5.3 is only 66k on jumia only plus delivery fee e fit reach 67k, in the market on slot, pointek they are all selling poor nokia 5.3 74k, with 66k, infinix note 8i 4gb 64gb is better than that Nokia, 66k will get poco M3 with rich features plus awesome battery life and better camera, 66k will get redmi 9t 4gbram, now over to the official open market price of nokia 5.3 74k will get redmi 9t 4gb ram 128gb rom, 74k will get infinix note 8i 4gb ram 128rom with better and faster G80 processor proven to be 30% better than snapdragon 662 or 665 in nokia 5.3 or 5.4, infact nokia is expioting people their phones are not worth the price, they are doing what transsion use to do before they repented, another nokia G10 is coming out with worst specs ever and p22 wait for the price 60k. You guys only follow specs on paper. When comparing phones, always compare the pros and cons of the two and set your expectations as realistic as possible. Again, try and search for POCO or Infinix or Tecno or Samsung vs any Nokia phone that are on the same level and watch their reviews on YouTube. At the end of the day, you will be amazed at how Nokia outperform other brands I mentioned above in terms of: 1. Ram management 2. Background app retention 3. Built quality/sturdiness 4. Software security/OS updates 5. Impressive batteries (Even though Nokia uses lesser mah). Etc. A Nokia phone on the same level is better than all the above mentioned phones in many aspects. Take it or leave it. Moreover, Chinese phone brands give you unrealistic specifications, and Nokia doesn't - Nokia is blunt and straight forward. Just as someone said above, the iPhone has taught us that it's not only by specs on paper but reality is it. We can see that with iPhone's lesser camera pixel on paper (since you only look at specs-on-paper), yet it still comfortably outperform many if not all other phone brands cameras in reality having as high as 24mp, 32mp, 48mp, 108mp on their cameras. |
