According to some state's law, if an elector votes against the popular vote, the vote automatically becomes invalid. Another elector who must vote according to the popular vote will be appointed.

Trump won the nomination with over 14m votes, so 270 votes from his most trusted friends will be easy to come by couple with the fact that 25 specified in clear terms that an elector must vote along popular line.

It will be easier for electors to vote against Clinton than Trump. Denying him his already earned votes will not be without consequences if inaugurated as president, becos certainly he will win the college votes.

The fine is not actually that much. But in some state (25) of them, you MUST vote according to popular vote. If an elector violates that, some state law recognises such contra-votes as invalid, a new elector will be appointed to vote again. It is nearly impossible for electors to overturn an already won election.

U claimed to come from US, but it is a pity you don't understand the structure of the State.

US is a Union of different States (country). Each state in the US is treated as a State (country). US practices what many call Representative Republic.

So individual citizens doesn't give mandate. It is the constituting states that does and each of them decides on how they does that. Like in some certain states, college electors must vote according to the popular vote. It is an offence. If an elector doesn't, the state law nullifies such vote and new electors are immediately chosen.

Trump has the Mandate of over 30 states to lead the 'Union'.

Do you know that Trump did not win popular vote? He won "Electoral votes". In other words, his victory does not actually represent the will of the people. As of Thursday morning, Clinton was up by more than 500k popular votes.

Winning electoral votes mean different sections of the country prefer him to Clinton whom a few section preferred as President.

Trump has more sectional acceptability than Clinton.

Actually his election represents the will of the different section of the country , the different minorities.

The college system prevents the high population states from determining the direction of the elections. While Trump was busy appealing to the different section of the country, Hillary left the minorities for the high population states. A move I believe she is currently regretting.

Clinton should be declared President of New York while Trump as the POTUS.

The delegates were selected prior to the election and only party leaders and those who have strong affiliation with the Presidential nominee were selected.

Most states' law requires that delegates most vote according to popular vote and violation often leads to the state nullifying contra votes and appointing new electors together with a fine imposed on the defaulters. About Florida, New Mexico, North Carolina, Maryland and about other 21 states adopt this law.

For the other states, the party extracts oath of allegiance (a pledge) from electors.

But to avoid stories that touch, only party leaders and party members with unalloyed allegiance to the Presidential nominee are chosen.

Only an insane will believe that a man who against all odds won the Republican nominee over great men like Cruz, Bush, Carson and other 13 candidates will lose a college election. Only a terrorist will believe that Republicans electors, will dash democrats 42 votes.

Come Dec. 19th, Trump will sign the certificate of return.

Unizik won't give you a course you didn't apply for. Unless your O'Level papers didn't qualify for that course. This transfer is only done during clearance.

So if you think your sister was denied, you should have written to the school. The window is 2weeks after the publishing of the result.
