so how does one say:

1. i miss you
I've not seen an Igbo Izugbe translation to this but I guess some dialects old enough would have an answer to it. ChinenyeN, how do your people translate this? For me, I say E misirim gi

2. i want to see you
Achorom ihu gi

3. can we meet
Anyi enwere ik'ihu?

I work somewhere around there and if the traffic lights were functional, a lot of disaster would have been averted.
The Government needs to invest in day/night reflectors, as well as speed breakers . ThankGod this didn't happen at night, the outcome can only be imagined this harmattan. God forbid.
This happened as early as 4am. The outcome would still have been as devastating. The truth is that if these tanker drivers are not running with an uncontrollable speed all these won't be happening.

See explantion galore. Why not tell Ishi bambe to construct a flyover there. Take your comment to his office and paste it on his door.
Flyover that will run from where to where? Do you know what a T junction is?

Speaking as an indigene of Igwuruta, I can tell you that this petrol tanker accident is becoming an annual experience in this same Igwuruta roundabout. This is the fourth petrol tanker accident happening in this roundabout. The first one that occured on March 17 2012 which destroyed a lot of properties and killed many people is still fresh in our memories. Since then, petrol tanker has fallen three times on this roundabout. Not just petrol tankers but also other heavy duty trucks. Come to Igwuruta roundabout, you'll see a Dangote truck that ram into the market there for over three months now and it's still lying there and it hasn't been removed. This roundabout is turning to something else and truck drivers are not helping matters. The junction is just like a T-junction with very sharp bend, hence a truck driver who's new to the environment running there at night, will think that the road is running straight hence the reason for the numerous accidents.

Crime / Re: Kidnappers Trying To Collect Ransom In Rivers Caught (Photos) by EzePromoe: 5:04am On Oct 19, 2016
Kidnappers are now everywhere in the state (Rivers). In my community where farmlands are isolated from residential areas, people hardly go to farm for fear of kidnappers. The funny thing is that even teenagers are into the business and they could demand for a ransom as low as N10,000 but for the poor farmers being kidnapped, that's no small money. May God help us and save us from this evil.

Southern Nigerians are wannabe Westerners. I respect Northerners for there authenticity.
You see Westerners love originality, not poor invitations of themselves. There is a reason why Fela has a show about his life and Davido doesn't.
Northerners have such a rich history and that's why foreigners like Lord Lugard loved the North more than the South.
I kinda disagree with you where you said the Northerners are original. While we tend to copy the West, the Northerners copy the Arabs. While we in the South still practice our tradition and retain our native names. They save for few Hausa pagans have lost their all to Islam. So who's more original?

This is a wonderful thread. I just found this thread today, and I wonder how a wonderful thread like this became so dormant. God dey. Anyway, I am a keyboardist based in PH. I've gone through, and there are a lot of people here are amateurs-intermediate.

Well, if you're in PH then you're in luck. I can help you take your piano playing to the next level. I am a music teacher myself, so if you're just starting out, I can help you out with the basics, like sight-reading, Jazz theory, to advanced stuff like reharmonization, voicings, etc.

Also, I just got back to the town and I am currently free so if there's any gig, church (that sings comtemporary music or hymns and classicals), I am your guy!

PM me if interested or email PlayPianoPH@gmail.com Cheers!
Where in PH are you domiciled?

Indirect Rule by the West!
So this is it? I thought all these ended in 1960. Well if they want a nation they can have absolute control of, they should push for a split, so their puppets can have one and the recalcitrant ones, the other.
