How many times have I seen Igbos on Nairaland paint Abia as hell on Earth?

Their hatred for T.A. Orji automatically made them to think negatively about Abia.

Now that we have proof that Abia is continuing to progress, and many of the Anambra Igbos on Nairaland who spoke ill about Abia want to ignore this thread. It just shows that you can't believe everything on the internet. Seeing is believing so if you have pictures to prove otherwise about Anambra. Then show us.

Owerri is a nice quiet town, but it cannot be compared to Port Harcourt, the city where I was raised.

If you want to make money, then you live in PH, since it is more developed and has a lot of industries. Owerri does not have many industrie if at all. . . I would call it a commuter town, because most people could commute to Aba or PH from Owerri.

I could see myself living in Owerri when I want to settle down with a wife and have children.

Abia is more organized, because the late Sam Mbakwe left the groundwork for a cities to grow in Abia, when Abia used to be part of Imo state.

All Umuahia and Aba needs is beautification.

Igbos you should call Chino to order.

Do not risk the unity of Igbos on Nairaland by his arrogance.

Any Igbo who says Awka is more developed than Umuahia is a liar.

Do not allow your hatred for T.A. Orji to cloud your judgment. Umuahia is a well planned city just like Owerri.

Sam Mbakwe infrastructure achievements in that city can be seen. And the roads in Umuahia are developed as well.

That is not Aba. That is Umuahia. . . Same state, but different city.

Some Anambra Igbos are getting upset with Imo, Abia and Enugu Igbos stating the obvious facts that Awka is the least developed state capital just like Abakaliki.

Umuahia was built with a master grid just like Owerri. It is actually a nice city. But Enugu and Owerri are at the top of South-East states followed by Umuahia.

Awka and Abakaliki is last.

Awka cannot even be compared to Umuahia.

Abakaliki should be compared with Awka.

The Igbos should look to Israel, France and the U.S. for support. I will never ask the British for support. The Brits like to talk out of both sides of their mouths.

The Ibibio would have been the largest group if they considered themselves as one people. Ibibio, Efik and Annang despise being called the same people even though the languages are mutually intelligible. It doesn't make sense though, because when I speak Ibibio, I can understand an Efik man speak and Annang person speak with ease.

Now that the Ijaw people see themselves as one people, this allows them to claim that title as 4th largest group. Before this notion of Ijaw, the various Ijaw groups did not see themselves as one. I doubt their numbers as well, like I doubt most Nigerian group numbers.

Ojukwu never disrespected the Yoruba and he even speaks their language better than some of the posters, which should make them feel flattered.
