Hehe. Not sure if the title of this thread is true. Interesting to me that we all seem to (implicitly) acknowledge Fashola as the gold standard.
Fashola has done well for Lagos, so you could say he is a gold standard for leadership.

It is because of British selfishness that Nigeria continues to be "One Nation." Their grand experiment is a failure.

I am so very proud of Okorocha. This is one Igbo leader that I would support. We need more like him in Igboland.

Seun:
Actually, I'm the one who moved that thread.  I have heard you and I'll think about it.

But first, let me ask you a question.  Who is the number 1 Igbo tribalist on Nairaland?
If that means putting my people first before all others. If that means coming to the defense of my people. If that means having a strong cultural identity that is deeply rooted in my Igboness.

I shall gladly take up that mantle regardless of how others feel.

It is only in Africa, where the word "tribalist" is used as a derogatory word.
Politics › Moderators - Stop Moving Historical Threads To The Racism Section! by EzeUche(op): 1:44pm On Jul 19, 2011
Why must you moderators continue to put historical threads into the Racism section? Is it hard to hear the truth. Why can't you moderators listen to the words of Awolowo, Azikiwe, Balewa or Ahmadu Bello? There words are pure POLITICAL, no matter how frank they can be. Why must you moderators move threads that deal with our indepedence leaders words?

It is getting very frustrating now.

How can this thread be placed in a section, where there was vigorous debate? 8 pages worth of debate concerning religion, past leaders, pre-independence economics and many other topics.

Let us continue to watch. I am amazed by how Okorocha is approaching governance. Imo State has a great leader. More grease to his elbow.
