0lumide:Tell your brethren to stop worrying about Eastern affairs. Unlike the Yoruba, we Igbos have a sizable colony in Yorubaland. |
It has started again. ![]() |
0lumide:Kwara state? ![]() It is already happening. |
0lumide:I dare you all as well. ![]() Lagos is up for grabs as well. We will gladly join the Hausa for our piece of Lagos. The partition of Lagos. We would make it look like Beirut or Jerusalem. |
Ika, Aniocha and the Ukwuani will be taken out of Delta state. I see no mention of these Olukuni in this map. ![]() |
Anioma state will be created. The South-East supports it and it will be part of the agenda. ![]() PDP will create another state, so who is going to stop them? ACN? I dey laugh. |
Onlytruth:Hopefully you and ChinenyeN could defend my actions. ![]() |
This is about anioma, not yorubas. Stick to igbo affairs. Let them deal with themselves.
True. And the Anioma, Ukwuani and Ika are Igbo so that is what matters. Asaba, Agbo and Kwale, Igbanke will be part of an Anioma state. https://igbology.igbonet.net/images/Map1.jpg |
^that's an accurate statement. the reason they arent yoruba, or dont claim yoruba, is probably because they predate the term yoruba. the lukumi language is a very old form of yoruba which is no longer spoken in the southwest. not sure if it's the same one found in cuba however.
Another interesting observation. I thought the Itsekiri also predate the Yoruba as well. Will a Yoruba person understand the olukumi language? |
https://asaba.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/aniomamap1.gif Anioma state would be a nice addition to the South-East. |
Go to Facebook and type keyword "olukumi" or "ugboda"
It does not matter. They are a small community that is within Igboland. Anioma state will be created and that state will join the South-East. |
Obiagu1:Interesting post about the people. It is nice to see Yorubas who have been assimilated into Igbo culture. |
Obiagu1:It was only on Nairaland have I heard about the Olukumi. Since they migrated to Igboland, then they are only settlers and must listen to the bulk of the Igbo population in Anioma. Do they speak Igbo? |
Obiagu1:How did they get there? How did a tiny 'Yoruba" village get established in the heart of Igbo territory? Are they a branch of the Itsekiri? |
How big is the insignificant Olukumi clan? Are they in the millions like the Anioma, Ukwuani and Ika? I never heard of them, so they must not be numerous. |
EzeUche:This was one of my first post on Nairaland. It was in defense of Chinua Achebe by the tribalistic Yoruba BABAPUPA. |
2mch:I arrived on NL in 2009. These tribal wars have been occurring before I even knew this site existed. And I did not start posting much until 2010. My words can be clearly seen. Foolish boy trying to place the blame on someone. |
I think the majority of Igbos support an Anioma state. ![]() belten, please ignore alj harem. He only tries to sow discord amongst the Igbo. |
Who are these Olukumi? I never heard of them before. ![]() |
I support Anioma state as well. ![]() An Anioma state is not negotiable. My Ukwuani, Anioma, and Ika brothers must be united with their kin East of the River Niger. |
Onlytruth:My brother, you are too kind to the minorities. They will never learn and they will always fear Igbo domination. Put the Igbo man first before all others. |
We need to praise this great daughter of Nigeria who has resolved to count on the right side of history for a country that so often humiliates its best, while worshipping those who spend their every minute designing schemes to loot the treasury and further push ordinary Nigerians down the poverty slope.
That is a sad truth. |
My Igbo brothers and sisters, how do you feel about Owelle Rochas Okorocha? |
flyuche:You speak the truth. But Nigerians never listen. |
rhymz:Another great example of his leadership. |
This your story get K-leg. ![]() |
Vicenzo and ChineneyN it is time we put Igbo first. I am tired of hearing this "big brother" nonsense that some of Igbo brothers continue to talk about. We are not playing "big brother" to anyone. No matter what we do, it will never be good enough. Put the Igbo man first. |
ezeagu:You are right. I need to learn to ignore mosquitoes. |
Gbawe:Does it matter what state I am from in the South-East? I could live anywhere in Igboland and feel comfortable. My father has houses in every South-East state and that includes a house in Owerri. Rochas improving Imo state also has an impact on me regardless of my state of origin. |
Can we have some recent pictures of Enugu International Airport? Why is it so hard for Nigerians to take a recent picture of an airport? I asked the same question for the airport in Asaba. |
I thought they were not in need of a leader, that only the Yoruba people are led Talk about a nation of confused lots.
Was this really needed? And why is this your concern? It is true, only Yorubas like to stick their nose in other people's affairs. |
