bk.babe has really thought this out.
His whole synopsis would have been funny, if I knew he was just joking. However, he actually believe the nonsense. Amazing to say the least. The man needs help. |

PhysicsMHD: Where does this myth originate from? Are the Ashanti not in West Africa all of a sudden? Read about the Anglo-Ashanti wars.
Also, what was the Egba revolt (1914)? What were the Warri tax riots (1927)?
Please don't distort history. We also have Anglo-Aro wars. Remember who were the last to fall in Nigeria. It was the Aro-Igbo. And it was the Igbo who provided the stiffest resistance to British rule in all of Nigeria. I guess you haven't heard of the Ekumeku rebellion 1883-1914 amongst the Anioma Igbo. |

jason123: Keep deceiving yourselves. You always use the yorubas as a bench mark, why? Benchmark my arse. Who else would we compare the Igbo to? The North seems united, the South-East seems united even though many do not think so, while the South-West is fighting amongst themselves. I dey laugh. |

afam4eva: You have to understand that Igbos are an endangered specy in Nigeria. They are alwasy out to target us. We see criminals from every part of the country looting the treasury but once an igbo man does his own. You'll hear something "Igbo man like money too much". Kidnapping is as old as the name Nigeria but see the way people hyped what was going on in Aba as is it was last year that kidnapping started in Nigeria.
You ask yourself again. How come Namadi Sambo is not suppporting Atiku since they are from the same region. I thought the north was united. Why is Ribadu contesting when there's another northerner in the name of Buhari contesting. It's only when Igbos do their own that they become the most un-united group in the country. It is crazy I tell you! I don't want to hear anymore about Igbos not being united. From what I can see, only region seems to not be united on issues and that is the South-West! And you do bring up a good point. Sani Abacha was looting billions of dollars from Nigerian coffers, but if an Igbo man takes $100, then it is a problem. Every social ill is blamed on Igbos. |

Saraki breaks with his son and forms a new party. Akala threatens to shut down Oyo state, OBJ & OGD square up in Ogun State, Bankole nearly missed his ticket and Ogun PDP presents 2 candidates,
Hmm, did not hear anybody say anything about all these issues in the SW but let one SE politician shout at another SE politician, Then goes the Igbo bla bla bla, not being able to come together bla bla bla.
That is why Igbo Disunity is a MYTH! |

Ileke-IdI: Hero was a Non-Nigerian, but he supported the Igbo tribe with his needless anti-yoruba posts . But no one seemed to have a problem with his "African American" status.
And I wonder why RichyBlack only comes online after EzeUche has been bashed for his unnecessary contributions. Baba EzeUche, e ma pele o! Sharrap woman. No one takes you seriously, and you know nothing about history or Nigerian politics. You only pollute the Politics Section with post that deal nothing with a topic. At least most of I can stay on topic. You on the other hand believe in your Romantic Liasons. |

onye_ngbu: Why do people believe you are not a nigerian.
A non nigerian who knows everything about nigeria up to the point of taking sides with a particular ethnic group and hating anothers guts so badly. He can even discern ethnicities from names!
Mr, you are no foreigner as you are always claiming, you are just one disgruntled yoruba guy. That is a lie they have been peddling for almost a year. I have said it once and I shall say it again, he is one of those Yorubas who were raised in yankee. That is why I hate liars. All these people acting like there are some other group, but they are not. The majority of posters on Nairaland are either Yoruba or Igbo. With a small amount of Hausa and other groups. In the politics section, I can only think of a handful of Non-Igbos or Non-Yorubas. |

bk.babe97y: Three paragraphs of lies! lol.Funny how you "skipped" the part where yall was making fun of the Sardaunas Corpse. . . . oh, and how yall made a hit song about how yall eliminated everyone else! Well, all I can say is :Thank God for revenge! What was that hit song and who sung it? Was it a fictitious Rex Lawson song? Remember Rex Lawson was an Ijaw. Food for thought |

It is funny how these Yorubas been beating their chest though. It took Nigeria almost 3 years to defeat a group of "rebels." They also needed support from the British to defeat us. The British supplied the Nigerian military with weapons, while Biafra made most of their armaments.
Biafran soldiers were truly brave.
Everyone who watched Biafran soldiers in action, told the world of their bravery. The seige of Onitsha was one of Biafra's finest hour.
And I am proud of my heritage. |

dayokanu: Simple when soldiers from your side decide to kill others and leave theirs, remember there are ppl like Adekunle who knows how to treat fork ups in the ratio 1:500,000 You act as if Adekunle was in the field fighting. He was hiding in his base, while Northern soldiers were the ones doing fighting. We already seen how he was scared of Northern soldiers. Where is the bravery of men from Ogbomoso? |

ezeagu: I believe that you should be cautious of 'certain people', but at the same time you should not lower yourself because people taunt you. If they touch you or your family (which they can't on here) then you can tear into them, but otherwise it's just a bunch of hyenas, unless they have some actual power lie in government. Wise words from a wise man. I will heed your advice. ----------------------------------- End of tribalistic post. |

cap28: I hear Adekunle ended up as a bitter, broken drunk, tormented by the spirits of the innocent lives he took away. The northerners used him and then dumped him - unlike many of his northern peers he did not go on to enjoy a lucrative career in politics but was forced into early retirement in 1974. It is good that his soul is being tormented. Look at this gremlin Adekunle. Another example of Ogbomoso people.

ezeagu: Uh, don't bow for cockroaches, some people might think that's how Igbo people act as well. Let the dead man. . . . . . . . . be dead. Fine. Then I shall let him rest in peace. But some of you need to realize that they hold nothing back. They will attack you with low blows. That is how they are. Enough of taking the high ground. That man is fair game. |

cap28: Adekunle's killing spree in Biafra may have partly been motivated out of a fear for his own saftey. (not that im making any excuses for what he did) Many Yoruba soldiers in a bid to prevent being killed themselves by northern soldiers went out of their way to kill igbos just to prove to the northerners that they were loyal to their cause. On page 132 of Oil Politics and Violence by Max Siollun - the writer demonstrates how close Adekunle came to loosing his own life at the hands of northern soldiers for promising to transport igbo soldiers safely back to the east:
"The Northern soldiers in Adekunle's battalion and the igbo soldiers were placed on the same trains. Some Northern soldiers having long been frustrated at their inability to kill igbos thus far, finally got their opportunity. They descended upon the igbo soldiers, killed them and threw their bodies off the train. For promising safe passage to the igbo soldiers, Adekunle too was attacked , but was saved by the intervention of Captain Gibson Jalo."
page 132 -133 - Oil Politics and Violence - max siollun Very interesting! Not only was Adekunle a genocidal maniac, he was also a COWARD. |
