bk.babe97y:I really think you need help. This obsession with the Igbo, especially Igbo men is something else. I have some cousins up in New York who could give you a free psychiatric evaluation. It is my duty to help a fellow human being. Even one as reviled as you. The first step on the road of recovery is to admit you have a problem. |
Any Igbos in this state should leave immediately. Let us sit back and watch the Middle Belters fight their overlords. This should be very interesting. Will the warlike Hausa-Fulani defeat the Middle Belters on their own turfs? Or will the Middle Belters continue to be a bulwark to Hausa-Fulani expansion? That is the question we must ask ourself |
The world must be coming to an end, when fools think they are more intelligent than an erudite. Amazing to say the least. Well stranger things have happened to me. |
^^^ And with all your so called education, you are still a fool. Ignorance is bliss though. Maybe when you are 50, you will act your age. It is sad, that someone your age would continue to act in such a way. Shouldn't you be trying to better yourself in this world? |
Bk.babe, You insulted the Igbo with your rants on that one post. I am simply answering it. Is that so hard for you to understand or does someone have to drill that into your puny brain? |
It is very ironic that the various Middle Belters who joined the Hausa-Fulani in their slaughter of Igbos, are now the ones being slaughtered like chickens. The irony of the turn of events. Their chickens have come home to roost as the great Malcolm X would say. |
bk.babe, Other British anthropologist have viewed the Igbo in a very positive light. But in all sources that I have read, many have said Igbos are fiercely independent with a highly advanced democratic principles. Why do you think the British colonialist favored the Igbo in the civil service? It was due to our ingenuity, and our capacity to handle complex things. Thank God the great Chinua Achebe has illustrated Igbo culture in all of its glory for millions of people to see all around the world. |
You people do know Igbos were described by the British as proudly independent. This independence can still be found throughout Igboland and they were warned not to push the Igbo too far.
|
In all honesty, the Tiv are always fighting different groups. They fight the neighboring Jukon and now they are fighting the Fulani. However, the Tiv are an interesting people though. They have quirky habits. |
I have nothing but love for Sullivan Chime. Keep up the good work and show the rest of the Igbo governors how to handle business. |
The news hasn't said that yet. Mubarak is suppose to address the Egyptian nation. It is expected to he may yield, but it has not been confirmed yet. This is welcomed news though if it indeed true. |
jason123:I have started to realize that. We as African people must unite. The West even though they are made up of different ethnicities know how to come together, and compete with the rest of world. When will we as Africans stand together as brothers and sisters. It is quite disheartening to see us go at each other throats. I have always been a fan of Yoruba culture. *guilty pleasure* But it is hard to truly embrace another group, when they view my people as enemies. It needs to stop. That is one reason why I stop using this moniker. |
This guy is too much. I actually think some of you all need help. ![]() I hope you all are not tribalist outside of Nairaland. It will be quite sad if you are, because I count many people from different ethnic groups as friends. It is when I come to Nairaland, you people force people to choose sides. First, you all ask people what is your ethnicity, where do you hail etc. Why can't we all just be Africans? I tire of tribalistic post. It is such a bore, nor do I believe in it. |
TewMuch:The blabbering of an asinine fool. I didn't even take the time to read your entire response. Simply a rant and it will be treated like a rant. Do I write like an illiterate? No. Do I have incomplete thoughts? No. You can tell how educated a person is, by the way someone has a grasp of language and writing. And I write in four languages fluently. My post have never been shown to be a writing of someone that is uneducated. Now carry on, I am tired of this little back and forth. I have better things to do. |
Don't you people ever tire of these topics? |
All this nonsense about Lagos. The Yorubas can have that city. It is not even worth the hassle. However, remember that investment is important for any city. Xenophobia does not serve any purpose, but scare away investment. But Africans will never learn. |
This is a complete travesty. When will Arabs and Africans learn that their leaders do not have their best interest at heart. $70 billion would make him as the richest man in the world as well. I hope this is an exaggeration. |
TewMuch:The mocking started way before I ever started posting on these threads you buffoon. And who was mocking a dead uncle? Akintola was a public figure and I treated him as such. There was no love loss in his death. That is a different. It is like someone mentioning Stalin's death to a relative to his. There was no love loss, when he passed away. For ostensive purpose, Akintola was really a traitor to his race. And that is my opinion and I am entitled to my opinion buffoon. But, there is a difference when laughing a dead Biafran civilians. There is a very huge difference and any human being with a conscious would not make fun of such lives. Make sure you tell bk.babe, fstranger, or Aigbofa to be quiet on such issues. I made my peace. |
debosky:. It only takes "one bad apple to spoil the bunch," to use an American colloquial expression. Yorubas need to stop mocking Igbos, and there will not be any problem. |
Now let us go back on topic. Why shouldn't Dangote be governor of Lagos State? Lagos is a very cosmopolitan city. It should also be progressive. Many progressive thinkers came from Lagos, so why shouldn't Lagos lead the way? |
jason123:Another lie. Not only him and bk.babe is a Nigerian. Enough of the lies. I remember the advent of the Bk.babe name. The man is not a non-Nigerian. He is a Yoruba. You people must think we Igbos are fools! Different from Hero who sided with the Igbo even though he was African American. He just sided with the Igbo, because he believed he was of Igbo descent like many African Americans do. Like I said, it is unforgivable to mocked dead, especially women and children. Blasphemous! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- To all the non-tribalistic Yorubas, I have no problem with your people. I respect your culture, your history and your heritage. If I have offended any non-tribalistic Yoruba posters in the past, please forgive me. |
jason123:Stop regurgitating false information! The main reason I dislike SOME Yorubas on Nairaland is that they MOCKED STARVING Biafran children. That is unforgivable in my eyes. When you mock the dead, there is something not right about you people concerning your psyche that needs evaluating. That is blasphemous in the East. Even the Hausa posters on Nairaland never went that far. |
fstranger3:Jason has always been a whiner even before SeFAGo came back. Understand dumb-dumb? Remember how your arse was trying to steal my word for you. Don't waste your pity. Just look at your own wretched life. |
jason123:And that is why you are a fake Itsekiri. A true Itsekiri is like an Okrika. They know they have Igbo roots, but understand they are a mixture of different groups. Learn your history before you come at me. |
jason123:I don't lick anyone arse. But since you lick the Yoruba's arse. Maybe you should tell us all how it taste Mr. Whiner. Everyone knows the Great EzeUche bows to no man. No Hausa, no Yoruba, no one. But I will say I respect the Hausa more than the Yoruba. I never seen a Hausa man brag about the Civil War. The same cannot be said of the cowardly Yoruba who waited in the rear. |
jason123:And this is coming from a wannabe Yoruba. You are a fool fake Itsekiri man. And you don't know anything about Niger Delta. Now hop off the Yoruba's jock. |
fstranger3:The Hausa may hate the Igbo, but they definitely fear us more than they fear you Yoruba. That is a fact. Maybe you should look at the perceptions video and see how the Hausa really fear about you tribalistic Yoruba. Hausa think Igbos love money. That is it. What the say about you Yorubas is far worse. That your people cannot be trusted. Look at how the Hausa view Obasanjo. Either way, the Hausa should take note of what you tribalistic Yoruba have been saying. Hausa in the East are treated better, since we Igbos are kind to our guest. |
Igbos and Hausa take note. This is how the Yorubas feel about us. Remember that without us, Lagos would come to a hault. If all Igbos and Hausa would go on strike, economic activities would grind to a halt. In addition, remember how the Hausa almost starved the South-West. |
Who the hell cares about Lagos? Soon it will be in the sea, and that will solve all the problems. Sea levels are rising and you cannot stop mother nature. Maybe it will wash all that filth into the sea. |
Globalization is just another form of Western Cultural Imperialism. Point blank. We as Africans have fallen on hard times and we have forsaken our traditional values. There needs to be a transformation of the psyche for Africans. |
