NOBLEDANDY:That's not what the likes of Olisa Metuh said during the election. They claimed that the Islamization of all of you is written in the heaven and no going back, I don't know about your current watered down tone of fruition and benefits of the doubt and not once you believed him being a democrat like the rest of the elite. |
mjames:People that carry morality on their heads are often the immoral people that Jesus called hypocrites. They will complain about indecent dressing but will watch pornography in secret. They will like to veil their own daughters but will pay and sleep with another man's daughter who is a prostitute without qualms. Am not saying that every place or event should not have it's own mode of dressing or that you should wear jeans to a cocktail party or put on a dinner jacket for your mechanic job. What am saying is that, it's a matter of individual choices. What is decent to you may not be to someone else and why imposed your choice on others and claimed to practice democracy? And crude way it was carried out. Shouldn't they had informed their guest in ernest what and what not to wear, instead of an open air embarrassment? Would they had done that to a man? Decency start with not poking your nose as a fashion police but forgot what you are there for and handsomely paid to do. |
AceRoyal:I didn't realize that you were an eyewitness. |
honeygirl17:You should not have click as the title of this post was very easy to understand and very straightforward, if you don't know what to do with it. |
lanrehamd:I am not a Moslem, so educate me. What is a big hijab and small/medium/xlarge hijabs? Which one has Buhari recommended for the Islamization project? |
APC has to organize a new primary. If Faleke thinks he is popular enough to be a governor, let him throw his hat into the ring and show it. If any of the Audu's sons thinks themselves as popular as their father and their fathers supporters loved them equally, any of them is free to prove it through the primary ballot. All those that contested against Audu in the earlier primary and lost, but who now felt that their chances has improved as a result of his demise, are equally free to showcase their newly improved chances. In the end, if Faleke emerged victorious, he is free to select anyone as his deputy including any of the Audu's sons. If an Audu win, they are free to continue the partnership with Faleke. A new completely new winner can equally select Faleke or from among the Audu clan or go with a completely new person as deputy. In my opinion, that's the fairest way to go. True democracy has no place for any sort of entitlement. |
chinchum:PVC collection is on going after the March election. |
I was reading yesterday that the director of the Nigerian NYSC has banned the use of Muslims hijab. This outfit being one of the identifying marks found in most Islamic nations, my curiosity then remembered that for almost a whole year and it got frenzier during the election campaign, that candidate Goodluck Jonathan and his political lackeys were announcing it through the roof top and Nairaland was no exception that Buhari presidency means that all of you will be Islamized asap. So with a hijab ban, that doesn't make any sense for the Islamization project. Someone please tell me what's going on? |
Dead persons don't go anywhere except to return to ashes and dust. |
dougivilla:And APC for some reason forgot to collect Delta. ![]() |
And Facebook, Instagram and Twitter is for Americans? ; ![]() Useless post. |
Prales:You must be an expert in bleaching to know from mere looking at a picture of someone's face. |
@op, Can you tell which part of the United Kingdom where you had that sort of sunshine and people wearing T shirts as seen in the picture? Am curious because most places were close to sub zero temperature today. |
RevDesmondJuju:This Tinubu must be some god. And Tinubu has access to Funsho William I take it? Sometimes I wonder why most of your parents ever bothered sending some of you to school? A total waste of money and time if you asked me, since you reasons like a bush man from equatorial forest, what the point of modern education. The way you are telling this tale, one will think that you spent the night with Audu. |
RevDesmondJuju:How can Tinubu kill him when PDP had a chance of becoming the beneficiary? How can he kill him when Audu hasn't been declared the winner and why not wait after the swearing in? Do some of you actually come out of a woman by the way you reason from your noses? Haba! Jizz!! |
sweetguy10:He revealed that he was actually ill even by Saturday and by Sunday morning his condition worsened, which signified a possible underlying on going previous health issues. He could have been ill for a while but was pushing his body more hard enough and carried on with the rigorous campaign schedule which must have taken a toll on him, considering his age and being totally over weight. The announcement of an inconclusive poll could have been the last thing his heart could handle. It's not a revelation to you because you never heard what you wanted to hear, how poison was poured into his mouth and he coughed up all his intestines and brains and then died. |
yahrant140:And here you are using every excuse to hold on to a landlocked people with your brainlocked mentality. |
chrisbaba1:What sense does this statement means to you? |
palladin:On the other hand you complained about how Abiola was treated. You are recommending a medication that you had previously criticized. Typical Nigerian. |
My take on the matter is that this case is purely a constitutional issue that had to be resolved by the highest constitutional court with an emergency ruling since the owners of their military constitution never envisioned this sort of scenario happening. In such scenario, all judges of the Supreme Court shall be involved and whatever their decision stands based on the following: 1.Fresh poll with the APC choice of a candidate. 2. Conclude the poll with the deputy inheriting the mandate. 3. Conclude the poll with APC nominating a replacement if the mandate belongs to the party. And then the lawmakers can then amend the law to address such a scenario in future with possibilities of: But If I was a judge, I will go for option 1, which would be harsh on APC especially if they are unsuccessful but seems the fairest option in my personal opinion. At the moment all opinion are based purely on selfish political affiliations and the normal and natural Nigerian tribal sentiments. |
Ikiriye:Remember what you called it yourself? A blunder. Am not telling you that it's impossible to be poisoned to death, but what I was telling you was that 99.99 percentage of deaths are caused by ill health. Ordinary contaminated food stuff can kill you in an instant. Some species of cassava if not well processed to get rid of cyanide in them can be lethal if consumed. A food allergy can kill in an instant. |
lastpage:Your reasoning is the reasons I said what I said before that Nigerian like you do not believe that people can die suddenly without the hand of anyone in it. And what's your definition of a wholesome health. How do you know a wholesome healthy person by merely looking at them. Kanu Nwankwo was playing football without knowing that he had a dangerous big hole in his heart that could have killed him at anytime and anywhere. In your mind, he was a very healthy young man. Many like you for years accused Friday Ekpo of killing Sam Okwaraji. Yes as a medical practitioner, I can authoritatively tell you that a person can vomit blood for 100 many reasons. His family that you are quoting are not toxicologist or experts who had conducted an autopsy to found out what kill him. In a society like Nigeria people even event stories to fit their warped superstitious beliefs and those like you will run to town with it and still acclaimed to be educated at the same time. |
What happened to Audu is like what happened to the likes of Sam Okwaraji and many others. Death can come at anytime if you have any health issue, which many of us have unfortunately. Sometimes not even knowing. It can come while you are dancing, playing, praying, having intercourse, chatting, eating, driving or sleeping. That's why they have co pilots because death has no schedule. But unfortunately in Nigeria, no one ever die from natural causes. Whoever die, died because someone killed him or God killed him because he is a sinner in Nigeria mind set. A very religious society but so stooped in superstition and all sorts of occultism reasoning. Even, hold your breath until their modern day suit wearing babalawos also known as pastors come up with their own theories of what their gods told them was responsible for Audu's death. I only feel sorry for that unfortunate person who could have had the last meal, drink or even a conversation with Audu before his death. |
This is at least how a credible election result should look like. Reasonable and believable voter turnout, close contest. Not Wike's 1.2 million majority vote and almost 100% voters turn out. If you want to rig election, at least make look believable. |
jascon1:Since you are more attentive please I obliged you repeat the quote you are referring? |
Seunaj05:When do you personally become everybody? Buhari may spend 4 years cleaning the massive mess Jonathan left behind to have any time for his own agenda (mess). |
saintopus:I know why you are in love with him? |
I was an adult in 2007, I don't remember Jonathan speaking out against 3rd term agenda. If he has grown balls now to talk , he should tell us which side he was at the time with references. Even a baby knew that Obasanjo wanted and fought for 3rd term with support of the likes of Jonathan who are too scared and self centred to speak out. Everyone also knew that Jonathan equally wanted his own modified 3rd called single term of 6 years which was his first single act as president but it suffered the same faith as Obasanjo's 3rd term. |
Wrong headlines. Should had been, I lost to the APC flagbearer , therefore I want him to lose to his opponent. It's either me or the opponents. |
peterion:What security, does he have army or police now? |
