drss:Am stating a fact, unlike most of you that lives in fools paradise. Buhari is talking nonsense when he thinks that BK can be defeated by December. I should think that he deliberately did it to put the army hierarchy under pressure to do more eventhough he knows that it's unrealistic. Every businessman has set such a target for those that run their businesses. If you didn't wipe them out in 6 years, how do you expect them to be realistically be wiped out in two months? Wake up to reality and let not PDP/APC political catfight loyalty teleguide your intelligent and reasoning. |
kunle75:These Islam sects has always been around, tolerated but contained. The wahhabi group use to be the most dangerous of the three groups. It led for years by the late Sheikh Abubakar Gumi, the father of the current Gumi, they are responsible for killing so many Igbos in past including Christopher Akaluka, whom they beheaded in Kano and spiked his head. The other group is the Sunni group, that use to exist as Maitasinet group around Maiduguri in the 80s and responsible for killing many Igbos too until Buhari crushed them in 1984, and then ressutected as Boko Haram under Yar Adua and Jonathan docile governments watch. The last group is the Shiite group. They had ruled the waves around the Zaria axis controlled by the Kaduna mafia for years. Militantly, they had been docile in the past as their leaders are allowed to run a sort of parallel government in Kaduna, just only in interested in making money and influencing governments until the new kid on the block El Rufai came on board and said no to power sharing for the first time since Balarabe Musa's government in the early 80s that also said no. This is the reason I believed, they suddenly want to flex their muscles. Unfortunately for them, they now have a president they can intimidate with the Koran as he read it and understand it more than them. |
EgunMogaji:Thanks buddy, funny enough I preferred to be called a Biafran than a Nigerian, but may your days be long too. It shows that Biafra and Nigeria can independently coexist in peace. |
Boko Haram would never had grown wings if it was properly and severely dealt with at its infancy. Instead Jonathan spent almost the first 4 and half years of his government telling us that Boko Haram was about northerners not wanting him to be president but insanely forgot that Boko Haram predates his presidency and he decided ignored the threat as something far away from Abuja. That allowed them to freely recruit, get financed and grown beyond control, only for Jonathan to wake up from his slumber 3 months before his dreamed re-election. But the gene is already out. Once the gene is out of the bottle, it is difficult to put it back. If this Shiite group is not eliminated now, the next phase will be Shiite v Sunni (Boko Haram). |
shamack:In advance nations people like you can only dream of wearing what you are calling fake because they are termed as HANDMADE SHOES and not mass produced. Each is individually hand stitched and filed. You see, in life a man's greatest sickness is no lack of education but total ignorance and you seem to have in abundance based on your inferiority complex comment. That cheap shoes you had on your feet now from China was probably manufactured inside someone's kitchen. What a Pinhead!! |
moore346:Prophet my azz. Anyone who calls the name of God this days become all sorts from man of gods to the annoited of the gods. "In the last, they will say to him Lord, did I not use your name to perform miracles, give many hampers on Xmas, visit Aso Rocks, predicts GEJ's re-election? And the Lord will say to them " get out of my sight, I don't know who you are, you workers inequities". So it shall happen one day because someone will have to fulfil that prophesy . |
It is so funny how people's politics defines their stance on all issues nowadays. Last week, the leader of Islamic sect in the north whose supporters had killed so many Igbo residents in the past somehow got the biggest support from mostly my own Igbo brothers and sisters. Despite some of them burning down a mosque few weeks earlier in Onitsha. Just because of Buhari. The week, it was the turn of northerners and Yoruba to show an unnatural love to an Igbo man. In the person of Mbaka, the Jesus of Enugu, while using the same mouth supporting the army for killing many unarmed Biafrans and baying the hang man to be quick on Nnamdi Kanu. Again just because of president Buhari. What a wonderful world of Nigeria where folks no longer have a mind of their own. Every opinion is now shaped or decided on the basis of whether it is anti Buhari or pro Buhari. Anyone who is Buhari's enemy automatically becomes their enemy or friend. |
If you ban political animals like him, they will use their wives, concubine, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces etc. If you are a serious business person, you don't need ATM card to pay for your huge important purchases, you use other means. All the dollars they are hoarding will rot with them |
They have even descended lower and lower, with a new trend of publishing interviews that never took place. |
Carmal90:As the writer said, you are entitled to your opinion. As an economic guru you failed to educate us on how the budget was a scam in a separate article of yours or are you just following a certain crowd of opinion? Then again, the article is about right to free speech, nothing to do with budget credibility, so better to stick to what you read. |
Mr proud Igbo the best place to announce your choice is not Nairaland, rather, go to Otu Nkwo where you can find thousands of other proud Igbos like yourself and shout it on top of your voice. And tell us how it goes later on. Proud Igbo my azz. |
chukkiephil:How did you know that Jonathan mandated this person to speak in his behalf? |
Pavarottii:No he didn't, stick to the issue and not some irrelevant distraction brought out by some culprit pinheads. |
ramdris:No one is above the law, whether you are ex president, ex king or ex queen? |
Iroh88:So FFK, Bode George of Fayose and others works for IPOB as touts? Tell me something. |
fagbalex:You mean Biafran like Olakunle Timothy Taiwo of a Biafran newspaper calledTribune? Or, are you referring to another Biafran called Ayodele Fayose who once displayed a fake Buhari's medical certificate? Try and grow some brains this coming new year. Before you accused someone of being smelly, please check first to see if what you are smelling is coming from your own dirty armpits. |
Ebukaobi:Why not outlive your girlfriend first before outliving me? I wish I have your myopic confidence of knowing what the next minute will bring. Just be careful about what you wished for. |
Objectives:This is the sort of attitude that make Nigeria what it became, belittling every thing that happens. Nothing shock Nigerians, every thing is brush under the carpet instantly and wait for another. |
kings09:It's not a mistake. It's ignorant, selfishness, quest to be on top and greed. He was so eager to be identified with a big name personality that he threw every caution under the wind and forget every journalism ethics. The fact that he invited a person he never met to such a private event as his wedding says it all. |
Ebukaobi:Yourself may well be executed tonight before the 2016 without the benefits of RIP if you are so sure of tomorrow. |
Ijaya123:Which God and when did you have the conversation? |
Akathriel:Why is someone death something of a merry to you as if your own life is cast on a stone? Who guaranteed that you or me will see tomorrow? Stupid post. |
I would assumed that this was a bad reporting. I also would assumed that Kanu's argument was that he has no confidence in the judicial system but must had used the technical legal terms of referring to that particular court's jurisdiction. As in reality, no one has right to refuse trial unless a plea of guilt had been entered, hence the judge agreed with him. Kanu must have argued that courts based in Abuja cannot seem to enforce their own judgments based on previous events, therefore the judge has no choice other than to abandon the case to be reassigned to a different jurisdiction that the accused has confident in. It really exposed the Nigeria unrecognizable federal system where everything now has to go to Abuja. What is wrong with all the courts in occupied B.i.a.f.r.a.l.a.n.d? |
This journalist is as dumb as a donkey. If ever, his pathetic tales has any semblance of the truth in it, the tale tell signs were quite visible from day one that you were speaking to the wrong person who will copy and paste any question you send through whatsapp. I now know why people you thought are reasonable enough would still fall victims of 419 scam. This guy was more eager to be a friend of Sagay than the substance of being a good professional, hence his stupidity of invinting someone you never met to your wedding. Criticizing Buhari with no hold bare and you still did not smell a rat? How dumb is that? So, it meant that this newspaper doesn't have researchers in their fold? And when did someone using whatsapp qualified one as an IT savvy person? ![]() |
You invited someone neither you nor your wife or any member of both your families never met before to the most intimate event in your life - your wedding! just because he is famous? Jesus Christ!! |
Hang on a second! This man is telling us that Nigeria was debt free in 2007, so what happened between 2007 to May 2015? ![]() |
If am not wrong, didn't he denied getting any contract then from the government? |
zico530:Exactly, some will get excited now over what is not their business. |
Lol. What a smart business move. It mirrors when your car insurance company send you a shiny pen as a gift whenever your premium is due for renewable after milking you for the previous 12 months. Then your next one month payment, pays for your shiny pen, hundred times over ![]() I feel sorry for these skinned and thrown about spiritually speaking sheep without a shepherd. |
Guyman02:So what is your suggestions. Write nothing say nothing? If they never write it, what would you have been commenting on? In an advanced world, this would be the topic in every adult and child's mouth. But there are Nigerians still oblivious of how few people has looted their common wealth. |
richidinho:What is your definition of governance? No wonder things pafuka to this level, as Jonathan looked the other way, saw nothing and heard nothing, because he was busy with "governance". |
have you noticed that since after Buhari's name was mentioned in the "scam" it's seems like Dasuki has stopped calling names
!! PROPAGANDA at its best!!!!!
