I was expecting a more detailed and logical reasons from the apex court only to be disappointed. if am not wrong this is a civil matter which proof is on the balance of probability of evidence and not a criminal matter that ought to be proved beyond reasonable. The Supreme Court should have avert to the application of the mischief rule rather than applying the literal rule seeing the widespread negative report and interest the elections in those states have generated. Well not surprise, most of the current Supreme Court Justices came to be there on political connection rather than on erudition.
Nigeria is doom if we are to rely on this inept Justices.
It is better for a judge to be corrupt and know the law than for him to be honest and not no the law.
