His name is Colonel Mamady Doumbouya, he was born in Kouroussa republic of Guinea.

He was trained by the French military in France and he was called in 2018 by Alpha Condé to head a new unit he created and called them The Special Force to the president.

He is the one who led the coup in Guinea this morning September 5 2021, IgbereTV reports.

During the coup, he arrested and detained 83-year-old President Alpha Condé who won a Controversial third-term presidential election in Guinea.

JINXES BROKEN BY THE MUHAMMADU BUHARI ADMINISTRATION—PRESIDENCY

A giant-sized jinx was broken recently when the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) announced a first Net Profit in the 44-year history of the organization. Under President Muhammadu Buhari, who doubles as Minister for Petroleum Resources, the oil conglomerate announced a first-ever profit of N287 billion. Such had never happened before.
But that was by no means the only major jinx broken in the lifetime of the Buhari administration. They abound. And here are just some of them. The list is by no means exhaustive:

Policies and legislation:

*Petroleum Industry Bill signed into law in 2021, after almost two decades in the works. It is aimed at reforming a Petroleum Act dating back to 1969, as well as other supplementary laws and regulations.

*Deep Offshore and Inland Basin (Production Sharing Contracts) Act, 2019, amended for the first time since 1993.

*Nigeria Police Act, 2020: The first overhaul of the Police Act since it was originally enacted in 1943

*Nigeria Correctional Service Act, 2019 - overhauled the existing Prisons Act, almost 50 years after it was first enacted.

*Finance Acts 2019 and 2020 - the first time ever that Federal Budgets are being accompanied by dedicated and specific reform legislation, to support implementation.

*Suppression of Piracy and Other Maritime Offences Bill (SPOMO), 2019: The first of its kind in the entire Gulf of Guinea, dedicated to prosecuting maritime offences.

*Police Trust Fund Act, 2019: First-ever legislation dedicated to addressing the financing of the Police Force

*CAMA, 2020 - the first overhaul of the Company and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) in 30 years.

*Discrimination Against Persons With Disabilities (Prohibition) Act, 2018: Another unprecedented piece of legislation in Nigeria

*Treasury Single Account (TSA) started in 2012, expanded across the entire Government by President Buhari

Projects

*Itakpe-Warri Rail Line, started in 1987, abandoned for decades, and finally completed in 2020

*Completion of four standard gauge railway projects between 2016 and 2021: Abuja-Kaduna Rail Line, Abuja Metro Line, Itakpe-Warri Rail Line and Lagos-Ibadan Rail Line.

*President Buhari is the first President to start and complete a rail project in Nigeria’s history (Lagos-Ibadan Rail).

*The last NLNG Train project (Train 6) was completed in 2008. President Buhari has successfully flagged off Train 7 construction.

*Apapa-Oshodi-Oworonshoki Expressway, undergoing full reconstruction for the first time since it was constructed in the late 1970s.

*Bodo-Bonny Bridges and Road: Construction finally kicked off in 2017, after several decades of planning, and three false starts.

*The long-awaited Ogoni Clean-Up kicked off under the Buhari Administration.

*The Nigerian Navy has this year (2021) acquired its first new Landing Ship Tank (LST) in more than 40 years.

He went out to buy food for his sick mother in Orlu, Imo state, when he was accosted by security agents, accused of being IPOB/ESN, beaten and bundled to the Owerri, along with 20 other randomly arrested men. They were stripped to their underwear and made to take pictures with Biafran flags, arms and ammunition and drugs. The then Police Commissioner of Imo State, Abutu Yaro, gleefully paraded the innocent men as "ESN Operatives". Unfortunately for Abutu Yaro, relatives of the arrested men, including Elvis Okafor, raised the alarm on social media about how the men were framed, and this attracted the attention of mainstream media, including Punch Newspaper. As questions were raised about the legality of the men's arrest, Abutu Yaro was hurriedly transferred out of Imo State to protect him. Elvis Okafor has been released on Police bail and below is the report:


The Imo State Police Command has released Elvis Okafor, the 23-year-old boy arrested in the Orlu Local Government of the state and labelled an operative of the Eastern Security Network.

Okafor was reportedly released on Sunday, August 28, 2021.

Our correspondent had reported that the victim left his house to buy foodstuffs in the market for his ailing mother when he was arrested alongside two other persons.

PUNCH Metro also reported how Okafor was paraded by the state police command alongside 19 persons with different arms and ammunition displayed before them.

His relative, Gideon Dominics, raised the alarm after seeing his photograph on Facebook while being paraded by the police.

Dominics, in a post on Facebook, wrote, “This is my little cousin, Elvis Okafor; have you seen how dramatic Nigeria is? A little boy that went to buy foodstuffs for his sick mum is now a member of IPOB?

“A boy that came back from church and hasn’t eaten anything is now brandishing a gun as an ESN member? You see the Nigerian magic? Is this how innocent people are being framed daily?

While speaking with our correspondent on Monday, Dominic stated that his cousin had been released on bail.

“If you see my cousin, you will not believe he is the person. After spending 29 days in a police cell, he was looking sick and in need of medical attention,” he added.

Dominic stated that Okafor would not be able to speak immediately due to his condition.
