I woke around 1am today and cudn't sleep again cos of the discomfort... I vomited and later on I noticed some blood stains on my pant...

Since I cleaned up, av not experienced the discharge till now... I'm 8wks... Do I need to be worried ?

Please if u see blood again, just go to your doctor so you can get progesterone shot just the be on the safe side. In the meantime, have enough rest and don't do any strenuous work. It's well with you

U get a Graco or chicco for like 35/38k which has a base. U can browse konga for pictures.

Hubby Brought snail home yesterday.
Growing up, i learnt if a pregnant woman eats snail her baby would be drooling -pour spit without control. Dunno if it's a myth or true.

Who had snail in pregnancy and baby came out perfect?
Please help o.

My mum will say eat anything even pineapples. Lol.
My MIL will say yes, eat anything except drugs -Surgical Nurse.

Should I eat? Am getting tempted o.

My BirthStory

EDD was 4th April

On the 31st March at 11 pm, I started having 30 minutes apart backache and the urge to poo, didn't know it was contraction, FF to 1 am my mucus plug started coming off in bits and by then the pain had become intense like strong menstrual pain, told my mum and sis(they were in the house) we prayed etc and they told me its contractions and my baby trying to make her way out. By then the contractions were now 10-9 mins apart. I kept on bearing it, would walk around the sitting room, had a hot bath, seat but at a point I just started crying and asking my mum why it was so painful. FF to 5am, we left the house to the hospital, got admitted, baby's heartbeat was checked and I was checked as well, was told I was just 2cm( I have a feeling the doc didn't check me well) not long after then, the contractions became 2mins apart, told my mum I wanted to poo, so I went to the loo but didn't pass out anything so I decided to have a hot bath, Immediately after I had the urge to poo again, this time my mum called the nurse, she check me and said I was 7cm and this was around 7am, then the contractions became stronger and painful, I would cry in between and question my mum why it was so painful. Few mins later I had this strong urge to poo, I told the nurse this is for real, was checked and had fully dilated, was transferred to the delivery bed and asked to push when ever I had to urge to poo, but was weak by then, after like 4 pushes I became tired but when they screamed that they could see my baby's head, it motivated me to push with my last strength, was given episiotomy as that place was very tight. My princess came out 1/4/16 at 8:06am. The placenta came out like 10 mins later, was asked to cough twice. I was numbed and stitched up but I still felt pain o. In all I give thanks cos I alwaYs prayed for short labour and got it.

U need not worry dear. I gave birth on 5th March, we went for bcg on 9th March that was when dey detected d jaundice. we were referred to special care babies unit in d same hospital, on reaching there baby was checked and he was admitted...gosh!!! I started crying as u did..I hate to b admitted in d hospital. that was Tuesday, doc assured us that he will b discharged on Thursday if d jaundice goes down. as at then the level of his jaundice was 255. he was placed on phototheraphy, d next day they checked d level of his jaundice it increased to 275 (D normal level supposed to b 140 down if it reaches 350 there will b a need for blood transfusion) my tears increased they assured me that it will go down, they put him in a higher one that has more light. fastforward to Thursday baby wasn't checked. so on Friday they decided to check my baby again...can u imagine that it increased to 301...hot poo come dey disturb me...infact d whole hospital heard my cry dat day...whatttit's increasing d more..doctor pls do something I don't want blood transfusion for my baby. as if they felt my cry they assured me that additional special care will b taken. on Saturday morning, baby was checked it went down to 40. we were discharged on Sunday. NO ANTIBIOTICS WAS GIVEN PLSSSS OOOO
PHOTOTHERAPHY CLEARED ALL

at least my experience will give u courage ok? as far as he is on phototheraphy he will b fine. just that he might loose a bit weight but don't worry he will still regain it...more kisses to ur lo...

cheer up dear...this too shall pass, it happened to my son thank God it was detected on time . he was placed on phototheraphy, we were discharged on the fifth day.

just make sure that u breastfeed ur baby every two hour to avoid dehydration cos d light Drys up baby's skin. if u can wake up twice in d night to breastfeed its ok cos baby needs it.

just don't worry baby will b fine...kisses to baby...

@all blessed mama thanks for your prayers. We were discharged yday, only for the jaundice to show up today? So I felt totally heartbroken, going back on admission.

@ Haryoular I had hydrosalpinx and my tubes were blocked but They are patent now and the hydros are cleared . I used gufei bao and Gynapharm from kedi. You can give it a try.
