Health / The Biblical Origin And Cause Of Sickness by FaithfulServant(m): 6:19pm On Nov 26, 2017
Do you know that it has never been the will of God for man to be sick or for man to die? Yes, it has never been part of God’s plan for man to sick or die.

Sickness and death we see today are some of the fruits, among others, inherited from the disobedience of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden (Romans 5:19). When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, they disobeyed God’s command that instructed them not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and it was after which, sin and sickness and death came into the world (Genesis 2:17).

Man was never created to be sick or to die. When God created man, He placed man in the Garden of Eden and gave instruction to man not to eat from the forbidden fruit and that the day that they do, they will surely die (Genesis 2:17). That is the origin of the whole problem of the world and that was how sickness and death came into the world.

Adam ate from the tree, and though he did not die immediately, he died eventually and the death transferred to all his descendants.

Some sickness is caused by sin, but not all sickness is a result of sin. If all sickness is a result of sin, then all should be sick by now because all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

Some of the sickness caused by sin are sickness that result from sinful activities like fornication that can result to sickness like HIV and aids (Ephesians 5:3); sickness caused by moral misconduct like smoking that can cause harm to the lungs, liver and other body systems. To overcome such sin, we need to forsake all unrighteousness and cleave to God that we might overcome all lust of the flesh and have total self control against self will (Romans 6:13; Galatians 5:16).

Some sickness is as a result of the affliction of the devil (Acts 10:38). The devil can afflict someone with a strange ailment to tempt him. He is given every room and opportunity to afflict us when we are active in sin. A man living a godly life cannot easily be afflicted by the devil because he is covered by the blood of Jesus and invincibly putting on the armor of God by which he is able to stand against all the wiles and arrows of the devil including sickness (Ephesians 6:11). Sickness afflicted by the devil can cured by prayers and faith healing.

God who can just put an end to the sickness in this present world, took a bold step in the right direction by sending forth His Son Jesus to die for us on the cross. Jesus Christ bore our sickness and infirmities on the cross (Matthew 8:17) which was inherited from the Adam’s era and that by His stripes we are healed (1 Peter 2:24; Isaiah 53:5).

Now through Jesus, we don’t only have hope for eternal life, but also, by the name of Jesus every sickness of any kind can be prayed upon and healed.

Mark 16:17-18 KJV
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; [18] They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Jesus has the power to heal and to forgive. Just turn from your wicked and sinful ways, and he will heal you of that sickness that has plagued your life for years ( 2 Chronicles 7:14; Exodus 15:26).

Religion / How Satan And His Agents Steal From Christians by FaithfulServant(m): 5:03pm On Nov 23, 2017
Just as it is written in John 10:10, “ The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy …” Where Satan and his agents can’t kill and destroy, they steal. Satan steal because he doesn’t have the power over life and death. Jesus does (Revelation 1:18). All Satan does is lure his prey to sin and watch the individual killed slowly by the sin (Romans 6:23).

There are several ways Satan and his agents steal from the saints, but I will only deliberate on the few once I know. We should not be ignorant of the devil’s devices and strategies (2 Corinthians 2:11) and we should be aware that some are working for Satan to populate the kingdom of darkness and these are called his agents (1 Timothy 5:15). The agents are either fallen angels which Satan tempted to sin against God in heaven, or human agents which the fallen angels — demons — have possessed entirely (Matthew 8:28-29).

One of the major ways Satan and his agents steal from the saints is during the gathering of believers. When the children of God gather to worship the name of the Lord, the agents of Satan come along also (Job 1:6). Not to worship God, but to create distortions in the gathering to ensure that the children of God doesn’t concentrate on the word of God and get the desired blessings for the service.

Some of the ways the agents of Satan cause distortions in church fellowship is by casting sleep spells in the gathering. This explains why individuals are often tempted to sleep in the church. Most of those sleep you see are not ordinary sleep but a forceful one to prevent the children of God to hear the word of God and take their blessings home. Some other ways they cause distraction is by deliberately making their phones to ring and causing other distractions during prayer and worship. To prevent this from happening, prayers should be conducted before and the during the church gathering (Acts 1:14) .

Another way Satan and his agents steal from the children is God is sex in the dream during sleep. In the dream, they cause the individual to have sex with them in the sleep and most of the time the individual wakes up wet with semen. This is generally accepted in the society today and a name has been given to it called “wet dream” but I tell you the truth, there is nothing wet in any dream because it is a demonic activity in the sleep with the aim to steal strength and blessings from the individual. This explains why some individual wakes up weak with body pains because of some manipulation that have been done in the sleep.

If you’re spiritually mature, you will get the sensation in the sleep but if on the other hand you’re spiritually immature, they will come and go, while you wake up as usual as if nothing happened. To prevent this from happening, pray before you sleep and sleep with your Holy Bible open with key chapters like Ephesians six containing the protective armour of God open.

Apart from sex in the dream, Satan also steal from the saints with physical sex which is known as fornication. For this reason, the scripture has warned us to flee from fornication because while other sins is a sin outside the body, fornication is a sin against our own body (1 Corinthians 6:18).

Sexual intercourse is a spiritual bond and so many complex spiritual things go on in the process. With fornication, so many destinies have been ruined and great men turned to pieces of bread (Proverbs 6:26). The good news is that there is a cure and Jesus Christ the Lord of Lords, is the cure (John 10:10).

Accept Jesus today and be saved (1 John 1:9).

Love Gospel

How you can easily access the love people have for you is by how they love other people (Matthew 22:39).

As for me and my heart we can only love Jesus and people who love people (1 John 4:8 ).

You can’t be impressed when you’re depressed and oppressed by the oppressors — agents of darkness (Matthew 8:28-33).

Run to Jesus now because only Him can set you free (2 Corinthians 3:17; Acts 10:38).

I’m a living testimony, and I can attest all what Jesus said in his earthly days is true (John 8:32).

Do you sincerely love Jesus Christ? The Son of God who took away your shame and guilt by dying on the Cross of Calvary (1 Peter 2:24)?

Jesus Christ exhibited the greatest love for us by surrendering His life on the cross of Calvary (1 John 4:10). It is written and said by Jesus that the greatest love that can be showed is when a man surrender his life for His friends (John 15:13) . This is exactly what Jesus did for us. Without the sacrifice on the cross, man would have been eternally lost from the Creator. Jesus death on the cross made Him the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). Anyone who believes in the Son has eternal life and restored communion with the father (John 3:16) .

Since Jesus surrendered His life for you on the cross, what do you have to give Him in return? Your love of course! (Matthew 22:37). Because of the love Jesus has for us, He doesn't see us as servants, but as His friends ( John 15:15). What a privilege we have that we become a friend to the great God (Isaiah 9:6) and through whom all things were made in the universe (John 1:3).

To develop your relationship with Jesus Christ, first, you have to surrender your life completely to Him, willing to obey Him in whatever He ask you to do (John 2:5). God loves obedience. The obedience of Abraham made him father of many nations (Genesis 17:3-4). The obedience of Christ on the cross redeemed man from condemnation and doom (Romans 5:19) . Wherefore God highly exalted the names of Jesus that at the name of Jesus all knees shall bow and all tongues shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11).

Keeping diligently the commandments of Jesus also help in developing our love for Jesus (Ecclesiastes 12:13). Jesus said in His word that if you love Him, you should keep His commandment (John 14:15). Obeying the commandments of Christ is a sign that you love Jesus and the love will grow gradually, but on the other hand, disobedience to the commandment of Christ is a sign of lack of love for Christ.

Since the commandments of Christ are in the word of God, we will need to spend some quality time with the scriptures and meditating on it day and night (2 Timothy 2:115 John 5:39 ). As we do this, we don’t only draw ourselves closer to God, but our love for the author of the word of God — God Himself — will increase. We should not just study the scripture for intellectual purpose only, but with the intent to obey and practice.

Being among the fellowship of other believers can also help in developing our love for Christ. We listen to the word of God and the Gospel of Christ (Romans 10:17). We have been admonished in the scripture that we shouldn't forsake the gathering of other fellow believers because whenever believers gather in the name of Christ, Christ is also there in their midst (Matthew 18:20; Hebrews 10:25). Since Christ is always in the midst of believers, by being in the presence of fellow believers, we have a communion with the Son also and thus our love for Him will increase.

Increase your love for Christ with this guide and I persuaded that neither death, life nor things present or things to come shall be able to separate you from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39).

Gospel Truth: Death is Close Without Jesus

In the life with without Jesus, death is always like a pleasant fragrance nearby (Romans 6:23). No matter the fake smile on the face, there is always a spiritual internal bleeding on the inside but anyone can touch the hem of Jesus’ garment today and be made whole (Matthew 9:21-22).

I don’t know about anyone else but as for me and my two hands, we will not only touch the hem of His garment, but will grab the two legs also (Genesis 32:24-26).

Gospel Truth: Who is Satan?

A lot of us still don’t know who Satan is. Some say he is a clever deceiver (2 Corinthians 2:11), some say he is a very powerful being; some are even afraid to mention his name because of the fear they have for him (2 Timothy 1:7) but I tell you the truth, Satan is just one miserable entity who is in serious need of repentance because he knows his time is short (Revelation 12:12).

His major hobby is telling lies (John 8:44).

Gospel Truth

It can come to a point in life when both the praise and criticism of men will mean nothing to you, but only the reproof of God through His Word will mean everything you (Acts 5:29; 2 Timothy 3:16).

It is better to love the praise of God than the praise of men because only God deserve praise for His marvelous works (Psalm 9:1).

For criticism, that can easily lead to the slander of another if the right information is not passed across (Proverbs 10:18).

Correct, instruct and exhort rather than criticize.

Prayer is the act of communicating with God (Philippians 4:6). Have you ever prayed and you feel tired to continue, sleepy or your mind wavering to and fro with different thoughts while still paying? This is because you’ve not mastered the keys and secret of effective prayer life.

First, to pray effectively, you have to maintain a clear conscience between you and God. Maintaining a clear conscience has to do with having no hidden sin in our life or sinful thought within us. The scripture stated it categorically that the prayer of a sinner is an abomination to the Lord but the prayer of the righteous is His delight (James 5:16; 1 Peter 3:12; Psalm 34:15).

To have a clear conscience and to blot out every hidden sin within you, is by confession and accepting Jesus into your life. Confess your sin to God because He is faithful and just to forgive (1 John 1:9). You won’t be held ransomed for your past sins when you confess your sins, seek pardon and accept Jesus into your life because old sins will be blotted out by the blood of the Lamb and behold all things will become new (2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 John 1:7).

Prayer is a spiritual warfare between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness (2 Corinthians 10:4). Satan and his minions wage war against the prayers of the righteous to be answered by God (Daniel 10:12-13). For this reason it is written in the scripture that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers in high places (Ephesians 6:12). In prayer, we wrestle with principalities and powers preventing our prayers from being heard and answered by God.

A case study in the scripture is Daniel in Daniel 10, where the prayer of Daniel was rattled by Satan and his demons. Daniel prayed and fasted for three weeks but the angel sent to deliver his prayer was withheld until angel Michael came to the rescue (Daniel 10).

To pray effectively, at the beginning of your prayer, cover your prayers with the blood of Jesus. There is power in the blood of Jesus because it is with the blood of Jesus that He shed on the cross that Satan was overcome (Revelation 12:11) and all his evil works destroyed (1 John 3:8 ).

Bound Satan and all his agents that may want to hinder your prayer in high places (Ephesians 6:12). As children of God, the authority has been given to us to bind and loose because it is written whatever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever we loose on earth shall loosed in heaven (Matthew 18:18; Revelation 20:1-2).

Always pray in the name of Jesus. Satan and his agents can’t just withstand the name because at the mention of the name Jesus, all knees bow — including the knees of Satan and his agents and all tongues confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord (Philippians 2:9-11).

Finally brethren, put on the whole armour of God that you may be able to withstand the wiles of the devil while praying (Ephesians 6:11). As stated earlier, prayer is a spiritual warfare and no man of war goes into the battlefield without first putting on a protective armour or covering and having a sword in his hand. With the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God destroy all works of Satan in prayers that you may please Him (Jesus) that choose you to be a soldier (2 Timothy 2:4).

Well, they say a person who is single gives the best relationship advice. I’m single and have only being into a relationship with Jesus all my life.

Marriage is a honorable thing and whoever finds a wife, finds a good thing (Hebrews 13:4).

It’s good to know the basics of marriage before going into it because if mistake is made, it can never be corrected without going contrary to the will of God (Matthew 5:32).

Don’t rush into marriage because you see other people rushing into it because I tell you the truth, some who rush into it are wishing they could come out of it and become single once again just like you.

Don’t consider your age, family and peer pressure, you soul mate family background, financial and education status when you want to make your choice for marriage. God created just one partner for you and no other can take it place or else you won’t have a happy marriage for the rest of your life on earth but you must give God enough time to mold and direct that “special one” to you (Proverbs 3:6).

God is never in a hurry because He has all eternity to work (2 Peter 3:9), then why should you be in a hurry when God Himself whom we were all created in His image and likeness is a patient God (Genesis 1:27). Wait for that person who before the creation of the world, God predestined for you (2 Timothy 2:19).

Well for those who are already married, pay close attention to this. You did your marriage in the church, right? Have you ever asked yourself why you did your marriage in the church and not in the zoo? Well, the answer is you did your marriage in the church because marriage is a bond created by God between male and female and they become one flesh (Genesis 2:24).

Since God himself created and ordained marriage, only relying on the principles of God can make it continue without regular fights. No human is infallible, but only God is (Psalm 18:30).

A situation where the man and the woman give contrary opinions on how the home should be ran, there is bound to be misunderstanding and fights. The man says ”I’m right” and the woman says “Get out of here mhen.. You’re dam wrong!” and when it is not resolved, they start suggesting divorce to resolve the conflict.

To divorce is against the commandments of God. A man can only divorce his wife if the woman is involved in sexual immorality ( Matthew 5:32) though he can still choose to forgive on that ground. Court cannot decide your marriage but only God can and God cannot come from Heaven to control your marriage but has already laid down His principle and rules of life including marriage life in the Holy Bible.

The Holy Bible is God breath and was written through divine inspiration( 2 Timothy 3:16) and it is infallible and should guide your marriage (Proverbs 30:5).

Make an agreement between yourselves that the Holy Bible should be the judge of your marriage who make the final decision and declare the winner. When you find your wife doing something contrary to the scripture, call to her attention “sweetie pie, but that not what the scriptures says” and she will make amendment. Likewise the wife should do the same to the husband.

To Remember the scriptures, you need the Holy Spirit (John 14:26). If this is practiced, you will be surprise why you never get misunderstanding in your marriage anymore.

Happy marriage life to all the newly wedded couples! Peace!
