Personal Observation

The Holy Bible is as wide and deep as a sea, but amazingly and by the power of the Holy Ghost you don’t need a big ship to sail through (2 Peter 1:21).

A fisherman with a local boat can sail through the sea and catch many fish regardless of the tempest by the help of God (Matthew 4:19; Mark 4:39).

The Aramaic Bar-abbâ means "son of the father", and some claim both Jesuses were one single person.

There is also argument that Simon of Cyrene never gave the cross back and that Jesus was not crucified.

All the same, thanks for pointing out they were both called Jesus. It is a fact well hidden in most bible versions, and I'm sure many will research the facts and present here.

Thanks for your contribution, but Jesus was crucified (1 Peter 2:24). Thanks once again.

PLS PLS PLS stop talking HERESY..... if you are a FAITHFUL servant then RIGHTLY DIVIDE THE WORD OF TRUTH n show us PROOF.... you didn't... which clearly shows you are not well studied on your claim... anyway I just studied it in the greek from the text AND it clearly shows that they knew who JESUS WAS N WANTED HIM DEAD and it was symbolic because BARABBAS means SON OF THE FATHER....(if you do not have ancient greek bibles kindly use google to check this out) meanwhile JESUS CHRIST is actually the SON OF THE FATHER.... they didn't look alike... JESUS and BARABBAS were not even standing in the same place o.... ONE WAS BLOODILY BEATEN FROM 39 STRIPES while the other was simply from a dungeon.... please get that clearly..... THEY REQUESTED FOR BARABBAS because it was part of the custom for the political leader to show his goodness to the masses by granting them a request.

THESE things were done so it can be fulfilled that Jesus even died for the sins of BARABBAS.

It is not a heresy my friend. The only point I'm trying to pass across here is that Barabbas also have "Jesus" to his name. I discovered this during my in-depth study of the scripture yesterday and was surprise and I decided to share.

It is clearly stated in the New International Version of the Holy Bible in Matthew 27:17 and it reads below.

Concerning the death and crucifixion of Jesus (John 19:30). Do you know Barabbas, the robber whom the Jews begged Pilate to release instead of Christ was also called Jesus?

If yes, how then was Jesus Christ and Jesus Barabbas differentiated in their trial before Jesus Christ was picked for crucifixion?

How are we sure that Barabbas was not mistaken for Jesus because of the similarity of name?

Jesus was a good man and even Pilate confirmed it (Luke 23:4). It’s obvious that the large crowd that concord to Jesus crucifixion (Mark 15:14) did not who Jesus was; probably mistook Barabbas for Jesus because of the name similarity.

All the same, thank God Jesus was picked because without Jesus Christ being picked and crucified, no man would being saved today (Matthew 1:21) and all men would have perished (John 3:16).

There is a gap between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2, Jeremiah 4:23-28, “I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger. For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end. For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.” God destroyed the earth when Lucifer rebelled against him that's how it became without form and void, the verse uses the exact "without form and void" just a suggestion though

Thanks for your contribution
Religion / The Heaven Created By God In Genesis 1:1 by FaithfulServant(m): 3:30pm On Dec 12, 2017
As it is written in Genesis 1:1: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

There is confusion as to which “heaven" is being referred to here. Some say the abode of God, while some others say the visible heavens i.e. the sky, abode of stars, sun etc.

Someone asked, if God created the heaven and the earth as stated in Genesis 1:1, then where was the abode of God before the creation of the world? This is a brilliant question and it’s asked because the questioner here thinks that the heaven being referred to in Genesis 1:1, is referring to the abode of God but this is not true. The heaven being referred to in Genesis 1:1 is the visible sky (Genesis 1:8 ).

In the story of the creation of the world and after Genesis 1:1, the Bible went on further to describe how the heaven and earth was created. It started in verse 2 of Genesis 1 and how the earth was without form and how the Spirit of God — Holy Spirit — played an active role in the creation of the world (Genesis 1:2).

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters (Genesis 1:2).

After the formless earth was described, light was created when God with a loud voice said, “let there be light” and the darkness of the earth at that time could not comprehend the voice of the Lord and gave way (Genesis 1:3-5; John 8:12).

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light (Genesis 1:3).

The description of the creation of the world went on further and how the heaven was created is described in Genesis 1:6-8. In Genesis 1:8: “And God called the firmament Heaven…”. This was after the creation of the firmament and God called it Heaven. Firmament is the sky and that is the Heaven that is being referred to in Genesis 1:1.

And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day (Genesis 1:8 ).

For the invincible heaven and abode of God, it has always been in existence even before the world was made and before the world began.

Religion / Is The Law Of Karma Biblical? by FaithfulServant(m): 4:01pm On Dec 08, 2017
The popular law of karma says: “what goes around comes back around”.

Some people argue if this saying — law of karma — is biblical or not. Now, let’s search the scriptures diligently to know if it’s biblical or not (John 5:39).

Ecclesiastes 11:1 says: “Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.”

Though this scriptural verse is used in the context of liberal giving and it benefit, but I think it supports the idea of the law of karma.

Try to picture the Ecclesiastes 11:1 in your mind. A bread cast or thrown into the river and it will return to that same spot it was thrown after many days. This is an illustration and it definitely explains and support the law of karma.

What you do unto others, others will do it unto you. For this reason, it is written and said by Jesus in Matthew 7:12: “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.”. This is an idea of the law of karma.

There is a popular saying that says: “whatever a man sow, he shall surely reap”. This also support the law of karma.

Bird eat ant while alive, but when the bird dies, the ant eat the bird. That is how life is and support the law of karma.

So therefore brethren, let this mind be in you (Philippians 2:5). Never underestimate or disregard anyone because of his or her present situation because things can turn around in the twinkling of an eye since whatever goes around, surely comes around.

Gospel Truth on Health and Healing

Sickness is never the will of God and there is virtually no sickness on earth that cannot be cured either by Jesus or by nature.

Jesus can heal all ailment (Matthew 4:23; Acts 10:38) because He bore our infirmities on the cross and by His stripes we are healed of all sickness (Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24). At the mention of the name Jesus, all sickness bow and disappear (Philippians 2:10).

Just call on the name of Jesus and you shall be healed and saved (Acts 2:21).

Acts 2:21: “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

On the other hand, nature and natural things heals. Never underestimate the things created by God and place the things created by man to be of more importance. Water for example, is better than soft drink intake.

Use a dying plant as a specimen. When you pour water on it, it comes back to life but if you pour a soft drink or beer on it, it dies completely.

Water and every natural things gives life to the body. So, consume more water and fruits and consume less sugar. With this practice, and in due time, you will be fine.

Gospel Truth on Persecution

They will tag you “religious”. They will call you all sort of names but stand ye therefore and know that the God you serve — Jesus Christ — is still the Lord on the throne (Revelation 19:16).

Some will have an internal hatred you for you but don't know how to express it (Galatians 5:20-21). It is the devil who worketh all this.

I exhort you brethren to stand firm and not be shaken in mind or heart (John 14:1) because you have been told before now that all who live godly in Christ will suffer persecution (2 Timothy 3:12).

2 Timothy 3:12: “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”

In your walk with Christ and if everyone is pleased with you, know ye therefore that there is something not right with you because Christ said just the same way they hated Him, they will hate you also (John 15:18).

John 15:19: “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”

Religion / The Power Is In Your Eyes by FaithfulServant(m): 5:33pm On Dec 03, 2017
There is a popular saying that says that the destiny and power of a man is in his hands, but I tell you the truth, the power of a man is in the eyes also. As a Christian, allow the devil to get a firm grip of your sight, then you are finished.

The power in your eyes cannot be overemphasized. Jesus Christ our Lord knowing this, confirmed it when He said in Luke 11:34: “The light of the body is the eye”.

Luke 11:34: “The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.”

We brush our teeth every morning and we take good care of our skin by bathing everyday, but how many of us know that the eyes has to be taken care of also? Do you notice that the eyes can’t be washed or brushed like the others but how then can we take care of the eye?

God created man (Genesis 1:27) and has given us everything that we need and expects us to take good care of them (Revelation 2:25).

I tell you the truth again, there is power in your eyes. The devil knowing this is working tirelessly to ensure that he pollutes everywhere with things that can destroy the sight and thus corrupt the mind (1 Peter 5:8 ). He does this by promoting indecent dressing (1 Timothy 2:9); pornography is on the increase (Matthew 5:28) and the internet is flooded with indecency. These are the works of the devil to capture your sight and enslave your mind.

You have to gain control over your sight once again my dear friend because the devil like a roaring lion is moving to and fro the earth seeking the eyes to devour and destroy because he knows the power that is in the eyes of man.

1 Peter 5:8: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

The devil and his minions always want to use things that seem pleasant to the sight to get us. In the book of Genesis, and where the problem of the world started, the Bible says after Satan had convinced Eve that the fruit form the forbidden tree was harmless (Genesis 3:4), Eve truly plucked the fruit from the trees and found that the tree was good for food and that it was “pleasant to the eyes”.

Genesis 3:6: “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”

Not everything that looks good is actually good and not everything that taste sweet is good for the body. For example excess sugar which taste sweet can cause harm to the body. Eve lusting after the beautiful sight of the fruit alone, never knew that the same fruit will bring forth death (James 1:15).

James 1:15: “Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”

Take good care of your eyes. To take care of your eyes, mind what you look. God gave us our eyes to see everything but does not expect us to look everything. Just the same way He created diverse things that can pass through the mouth, but does not expect us to eat everything.

So therefore brethren, be mindful of what goes into your eyes for you know not when the thief will come to take the sight away and render it spiritually blind (John 10:10).

You have been warned! (Mark 13:23).
