The Junia that you like disagrees with the KJV. He says that he was only like a god and he was not a God. As a loving brother, can you both incite yourselves to proper understanding?

You took the verse out of context. You can clearly observe that the "god" was spelt with a small letter "g". For example Satan was also called "god" in 2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV, "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."
Who made the letter a small 'g'? Who decides what a right context is? Do you know something about transliteration? What is the context of that verse? Can you explain?

That doesn't make Satan God even if it has always been his greatest wish from the very beginning (Isaiah 14:12-15).

For Psalm 45:6 KJV," Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre."

Solomon was not called God in that verse. Probably you thought so because David who is the author of many Psalms was referring to his son but the book of Psalm was written by different Psalmists. The" God" being referred to in the verse is God Himself. The writer of the Psalm was just praising God that His throne will endure for ever. Have you read the Psalms or are you quoting from a blogger? Did you understand it when you said that the Psalmist was praising God? have a look at verse 2 below.
Psalms 45:2You are the most excellent of men
and your lips have been anointed with grace,
since God has blessed you forever.

You mean God has blessed God forever?

And God is the most excellent of men?

Sure, I can.
Exodus 7:1
Psalm 45:6

If Jesus left his godliness in heaven, where did he get the godliness with which he became God while on earth?

At what point did he (probably return to heaven to) get it?

What, then, was given to him after his death and resurrection?

Junia I like you. You seem to be a teacher of the word and you posses the gift of teaching (Ephesians 4:11). Keep on developing it.

@op from the verse posted, starting with Exodus 7:1 KJV, " And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet."

Religion / The Deceptiveness Of Satan by FaithfulServant(m): 5:44pm On Apr 07, 2018
The reason many conclude that Satan and his demons don’t exist is because Satan doesn’t make himself visible to unbelievers. Satan is not at war with the world but at war with the children of God (Ephesians 6:12). He tries to make the unbeliever believe in his non existence so that he can gently and silently cripple their lives to an extent where there would be no remedy but Jesus is the remedy that is always available to us all.

You will know Satan does actually exist when you try to pull away from unrighteousness to righteousness because he will try all possible means to ensure you don’t give your life to Christ. He will not hide his face from you, tormenting you in the dream and trying to instill fear in you but the Lord has not given us the spirit of bondage to fear but of sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Just as there is joy in heaven over one sinner that repents (Luke 15:7), so also there is an outcry in the kingdom of darkness over one sinner that leaves unrighteousness and embrace righteousness. Satan is mad when a sinner becomes a child of God because Satan who is the god of the world (2 Corinthians 4:4) controls the world but not in control over the children of God who are lead and controlled by the Spirit of God (Romans 8:14).

Satan will be angry when he looses firm grip over your life and will always make his anger known and felt. Don’t fall for the gimmicks of Satan by willingly submitting your life to be controlled by him but let the Lord Jesus be the Lord over your life by giving your life to Him today.

Acts
2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues "LIKE" as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Yeah, that is another good example that is related to this. The Holy Spirit descending on the early apostles "like" a fire and not in the form of a fire.

So also I believe the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus during His baptism like a dove and not in the the form of a dove.

Or do you think otherwise?

Luke 3:22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape "LIKE" a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.
I get your point but understand the simile "as" and "like" as used in the topic.

I mean did the Holy Spirit descend on Jesus in the form of a dove as so many believe, or in some other form?

Religion / Did The Holy Spirit Descend On Jesus As A Dove Or Like A Dove? by FaithfulServant(m): 5:19pm On Mar 17, 2018
The four Gospel in the Holy Bible all gave account of the baptism of Jesus and how the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus during His baptism (Luke 3:22). But how, and in what form the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus has been a controversy in Christendom.

Some argue the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus as a dove, while some others conclude that the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus during His baptism like a dove.

Among the four Gospel that gave account of the baptism of Jesus ( i.e. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), only the Gospel according to Luke really gave a clear description of how the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus. According to Luke 3:22, “And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.”

Look at the verse of Luke above carefully, “And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him”. What this should mean is that the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus just the same way a dove descend from the sky to the ground, and in a “bodily shape” means the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus in the form of a body and not in the form of a dove. With this we can concluded that the Holy Spirit is a person with the shape of a body and not some mystical force with the shape of a dove as some believe.

So I can conclude that the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus Christ during His baptism like a dove and in the form of a body, and not as a dove in the form of a dove. Or do you think otherwise?

One Major Technique Discovered for the Oppressed

When Satan and his demons oppress you, their major aim is to instill fear in you, but the Lord has not given us the spirit of fear but of sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Remind Satan of how the lake of fire will be too hot for him and his minions and watch him flee from you (James 4:7).

For the this reason, Satan hate the book of revelation very much.

Revelation 20:10 KJV
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are , and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Why is Jesus Christ Called the Light of the World?

John 9:5 KJV
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

At the creation of the world, the Lord God said with a loud voice, “let there be light” and there was light (Genesis 1:3). But at the fall of man at the garden when sin came into the world, the world was filled with complete darkness.

Jesus is the second light the Lord God is sending to the world (John 12:46) but this time, only for those who are willing to live in the light and shun darkness which is an epitome of evil (John 3:19).

Are you willing to accept the light of Christ into your heart today (Matthew 3:2)?

When you dwell in the secret place of the Most High here on earth, you become totally invincible to Satan and his minions (Psalm 91:1).

But you may ask, “how can I dwell in the secret place of God?”

Well, to dwell in the secret place of the Most High, pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Let prayer in your life be a lifestyle and a habit (Ephesians 6:18).

Gospel Truth on Prayer

One thing Satan and his minions doesn’t want us to do is to pray. When you set your heart to pray, Satan also set to wage war against your prayer (Daniel 10:12-13). He does this by inflicting us with weakness (Luke 18:1; Romans 8:26).

You need to learn how to either bound Satan before you pray (Matthew 18:18) or make him flee from your secret place before you can pray relentlessly and fervently (James 4:7).

I was in the library studying my books and then someone whom I barely know at that time called John came into the library. He sat opposite me and started sharing the word of God with me, most of which pertained to my life and situation.

At the end of the meeting, he prayed for me. I can forget every other part of the prayer but one part of the prayer I will never forget was when he said, “you that sickness in him in the name of Jesus come out!”. I had a slight jerk, like something actually came out of me and when I opened my eyes everywhere was brighter than ever before. We exchanged contacts and He left. When he had gone, I kept on pondering on that name JESUS because the name was strange to me at that time.

For three months from that time I became restless. All what he preached to me kept on ringing back to me in my mind; like a conviction or sort of. I picked up my mobile phone and called him and he gave me the location he was (Deeper Life Bible Church). I went there and had a conversation with him. I asked him how he knew I was sick when we were at the library and he said he didn’t even know when he made that statement.

I was actually sick (a reoccurring ailment of seven years), but after that prayer, the sickness is no where to be found anymore. No wonder Jesus Christ my Lord said in Mark 16:18 that those who believe in Him will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. “They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:18).”

Since then till this moment, Jesus has been my Lord and personal savior. I implore you to embrace Him. He will give you absolute peace of mind (John 14:27) and there is virtually no problem you face that He can’t solve. If He could save me, He can save you also.

Thank God it worked for you but the reality is that those witches will still press people even if their bibles are on their chest while sleeping. Dem go press you wella if you don't have the word of God off hand. The scriptures says in Psalms 119:11 "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you"
It didn't say the word of God in my bed or chest but heart

It's personal discovery as I said earlier. It's a good thing to read the scriptures and have it off hand, but there is no harm trying this.

I just woke up from sleep and the sleep was peaceful. All thanks to God and his word through Revelation 12:11.
