PoliticsRe: Reno Omokri Shades Presidency by fallout87: 11:32pm On Aug 01, 2018
Reno has a point.

With all the turmoil Nigeria is facing, is now the time Buhari should be going on 10-day vacation for medical treatment?

Just imagine, thousands of Nigerians have been killed this year and the president was either slow to react or didn't react at all..... yet he immediately responded when Senators and Representatives mass defected to PDP.

Where are the priorities?

True wickedness is when you don't care as others are killed and suffering under your leadership.

Our population is a great asset... what we need is an efficient wealth distribution system.
It is not a great asset when the population aren't working or producing and many of them are waiting on oil revenue to subsidize themselves.

It isn't even realistic to pay for a country of 180 million people with the amount Nigeria makes from oil. Even without theft Nigeria would still be in abject poverty.

Nigeria needs to diversify itself and produce other world leading commodities for trade. The revenue Nigeria generates needs to be five... no seven times the amount for the Nigeria people hope and pray for.

They made a man who knows nothing about economy... one who destroyed his own country's economy head of ECOWAS.

Then Africans wonder why they are forever going backward.

You don't appoint due to education and qualification. Then the fool will make things worse and you'll complain of hardship.

PoliticsRe: Tell Me How And Which Magic Will Buhari Perform To Win In 2019 by fallout87: 9:01pm On Jul 31, 2018
I believe there was some rigging, but not all in Ekiti.

To be honest Fayose is like Buhari. Both alienated those political strongmen around them, which led to them abandoning....

Fayose lost.

So will Buhari.

This is rubbish and fake news.

Anyone stupid enough to believe a truck was backed up to CBN and $35 billion was taken is not educated.

The numbers are fake and I'm quite sure this entire "article" is a fake and Soyinka did not create this trash. Only a fool without education would make something so fake.
PoliticsRe: Opec Releases Annual Report Of Nigeria's Oil (picture Fact) by fallout87: 12:17pm On Jul 30, 2018
Nigeria's biggest issue is population.

It has 100 million more people than Iran! People asking Nigeria to be Dubai or Saudi Arabia aren't realistic.

It is far easier to spread wealth when your country only has 30 million people. Nigeria has 140 million more.

Now compare much revenue these countries generate from oil compared to Nigeria and we will all see the issue with the country is the overdependece on oil! Nigeria is producing anything else and a world leading standard. Then they are using this oil money to subsidize northern poverty stricken countries with uncontrolled populations where they are just producing children for the sake of it.

Nigeria's biggest issue isn't thieves... it's population and lack of true federalism to stop dependence of oil.

Nonsense propaganda.

What language did this man have these detailed and thorough conversations in? English? Who taught that herdsman to speak it?

If not English (we know the language was not English!) pray tell how did you communicate?

That is all we need to know.

For this man to be able to communicate with him it means he speaks the language and that implicates him as being Fulani, a Northerner or someone from a sympathetic background so it isn't unbiased.

Trash.

Lol, so when OBJ was APC 'navigator' you were chanting "change " and telling everyone to hear the message and not focus on the shortcomings of the messenger.... in this case 'navigator'.

Now, instead of taking your advice from 2015, you're ignoring the message, then abusing and insulting the messenger.. your ex-navigator.

OBJ is right, I will listen to his message. Buhari has been a nightmare for Nigerian economy, safety, currency, growth, etc...

He must go!

APC is just about lies, deceit and propaganda to retain and abuse power. The same stealing happening before has continued just with different benefactors.

@ fallout87, I don't think you are updated on salary payment in Nigerian states.

FYI, Ogun state has cleared all payment inclusive of money deducted after tax and net pay. This is no longer a news.
You are making my point.

Ogun (note where I said their situation wasn't as severe), was able to clear all their payments because they were not blocked from receiving all of their federal reimbursements and allocations. If thess monies were blocked or delayed from reaching Ajimobi, how can he pay the workers?

That is exactly what Fayemi did here.

Fayemi blocked the disbursement of N12 billion. If he had not blocked it, Ekiti would be able to boast as well that they have paid all workers.

Don't worry. Once Fayemi enter office he will drop his court injunctions, the N12 billion naira will go to Ekiti and he will pay wages. Then people will herald him as a savior.
PoliticsRe: 'Ekiti Election Fell Short Of Global Standards' - Say US Observer Group, Others by fallout87: 7:11am On Jul 18, 2018
Mynd44:
No sense in his inchorence.

After bailouts, Paris fund refund and monthly allocation, he still owes salaries of state and he has also dipped his fingers into LG funds too yet it was all Fayemi's fault after 4 years.

But if PNB mentions Buhari, everyone will be up in arms
Every governor in SW not named Ambode was owing salaries. Did they not all receive Paris fund? Bailout(s)?

President of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) Mr. Bobboi Kaigama on May 1st, 2018 says 35 out of 36 states owing salaries: http://saharareporters.com/2018/03/01/35-out-36-nigerian-states-owing-workers-salaries-trade-union-president

So why are you only singling out Ekiti and Fayose? Stop telling part of the truth and tell all of it.
PoliticsRe: 'Ekiti Election Fell Short Of Global Standards' - Say US Observer Group, Others by fallout87: 7:03am On Jul 18, 2018
Ihateyoumod:
This man u r not making sense at all...so of all the monies fayose has received, d bailout specifically given to offset salaries, d Paris club refund, d monthly allocation all these monies were not used to pay salary.

Fayose only wants to use d debt for fed govt projects n his state to pay salary. This makes sense to u.

Now is he the only gov owed money by d FG for fed govt projects?...if he is not r others who r been owed paying salaries??....my friend wake up u r sleeping
Do you understand how governance works?

Do you think governments especially those in Nigeria which live day-to-day on FG allocation and are in heavy debt have the ability to store money or do you think they use the money as quickly as it comes to pay workers, build and grow the state?

It's funny because SW has four others states struggling like Ekiti, one of which is severely worse then the others and yet you make it seem like Ekiti is a special case.

If these are Nigeria's youth an bright minds it's no wonder Buhari's and Atiku's will rule forever.
PoliticsRe: 'Ekiti Election Fell Short Of Global Standards' - Say US Observer Group, Others by fallout87: 6:56am On Jul 18, 2018
Mynd44:
Even as at when the bailouts were owed, the state government was owing. What are you talking of?
Again, say all the truth not only the parts that fit your narrative.

Is Ekiti the only state which has been owing? In SW only Lagos hasn't owed. Ondo, Oyo and Ogun (Ogun situation hasn't been severe) have owed.

Osun state is the absolute worse and Aregbesola doesn't have an excuse of being withheld monies for political purposes!

How can the FG refund the Ekiti state government for a bridge? Is the bridge a federal bridge?

It belongs to the state and the FG has no business with it. It is not on a federal road and so why is he expecting payback according to you?
Lol, this isn't a discussion of how, what or why.

It is very simple. The federal government owed Ekiti N12 billion. The federal government attempted to reimburse Ekiti, but it was blocked by court actions initiated by Fayemi.

Why did Fayemi block it?

You can avoid the facts all you want but no lies or falsehoods can distort this.

So I will ask you again, if Fayemi means well for Ekiti why would he block money being reimbursed to the state?

What purpose? What benefit was it for Fayemi to collude and go to court to stop this money from being distributed?

Oh, the money Fayose is crying that he wants back was not for roads constructed by his government but by Fayemi's government which GEJ's admin did not payback. If you want to debate it, please show me the projects he built, the FG roads he fixed that the funds should be refunded
You have no proof of this. Provide a source which proves this statement.

We supposedly lost the election in Ekiti according to official results but we will do well to approach the tribunal to seek redress since we feel aggrieved.

N/B: By "we" I mean PDP members.
To be honest I don't even know what evidence they can use. The voting public were manipulated with a great plan; starve Ekiti of the last reimbursement to impede the governor from paying wages before the election.

Then flood Ekiti with AbachaDollars and watch the people sell their birthright for a kobo.

PDP tried to buy them to but they couldn't match the federal buying power.

Biggest liar ever!

Ekiti was paid several bail out funds. All went into fayose pocket
You have no proof of this. Just more uneducated accusations without actual merit.

I am no fan of Fayose. I don't think he is a bad guy, but he like every other politician in that country are agenda driven.

My point is to make Fayemi a hero when it was that same Faymei who delayed FG reimbursement monies which would have paid for wages is pathetic and laughable.

He sabotaged and now will benefit from his well thought out plan. That is the Nigerian way.

It's why leadership is recycled. That country is failing under an ancient Buhari.... now a near ancient Atiku wants to replace him and no one sees problems with it.
