I smell propaganda columnist "No fewer than 40,000 members bla bla bla" Who counted them? |
Hmmmm, are they sure? Some Nigerians just hoarded and sold subsidized fuel to fellow Nigerians at N400 per litres and the regulating bodies looked away. That to me is the Height of corruption at various levels. |
Lube is your friend...tnk me later |
TAILAS01:That does not technically qualify as masturbation, and his punishment was because he was trying to be wise in his small mind, he had a fraudulent motive. |
ksam:And what does vs 3, 4, 5 till end say?? Once you are Born Again you are dead to sin, you shouldn't be sin concious anymore, you might fall atimes and comit one sin or the other, you shouldn't let guilt push you away from God, You are dead to sin, it's no longer your Righteousness, it's the righteousness of Christ, Abraham's righteousness was not in his works but rather in His belief, the word repent is not about change of actions and deeds but a change of mind...what u believe. that is why the Bible said in Rom 12:2 be ye transformed through the renewing of your mind. As a Christian, spend less time on checking what the law says you should do or not do, cause trust me there are more than ten commandments, they are in fact 613 laws, n you know if u break one you have broken all, that's why we have Grace. Don't get me wrong, grace is not a Licence to continue in sin, it is the exact opposite, it is the divine ability to live a sinless life relying on the finished work on the cross, the sins you were held accountable for was not as a result of what you did or didn't do, but as a result of Adam's disobedience, and our Justification is not also in our works but in the obedience of Christ on the cross Rom 5:19....ps take time to check this few passages I quoted before you reply, n I will be glad to receive your reply... |

If you have ever had a problem with a police man and witnessed how they cook up allegations against citizens then you won't swallow this story at all. Wonder why the reporter didn't include the defendants part of the story. I fear this is another case of a low citizen having issues with a power figure, I can imagine how the investigating officer in charge of this case went the extra mile to ensure the defendant is hooked! |
So I listened to Omawumi's version and I must confess it's dope and I'm probably going to be playing it more than the Adele's bersion, but the sad truth bout her cover like other covers is that it lacks the soul, the feeling, emotions Adele had in hers....only Adele can sing it that way for me for now....good job tho! |

Pls how does this amount to better life us, this public show of ignorance and mediocrity makes me want to puke. It's because this kind of myopic mindset we won't move forward in this country. If all the ministers are from south west how does that make south west better than corth east? Or will the ministers abandon other states and concentrate on thei zones only? How does Fashola being minister of power amount to a yoruba man in osun having more electricity? Will the ministers from south west sgare their salary with you ? Pls stop this. Dance of ignorance and let's be ready to hold these guys accountable for their actions. FYI, I dnt like PDP, I'm just a concerned Nigeria hoping for a brighter tommorrow |
Hello nairalanders, is it not funny and somewhat annoying how we can give good relationship advices to other people and we seem to be confused when faced with our own issues. Well I'm in that situation now and I need your help. I am currently engaged to this lady and we have even done an introduction, we've been through the various phases of relationship together, the happy days, sad days, break up periods, make up times etc. I love her, but I'm having doubts as to whether I want to spend the rest of my life with her. We are age mates but she looks older than I am already even before having kids. She has had to change her religion just to make the relationship work and I think I'm going through with these relationship out of pity for her sacrifices, I fear this pity would one day wear out and i'll start resenting her and myself. Should I be worried about these feelings or is it just the normal cold feets guys get before finally saying the "I Do". Pls help me out guys. Will really appreciate if this can make front page, this is my first ever NL post. Thanks! |

logica:Here we go again, for the past 16 yrs of democracy rule, who were the governors, the ministers, senators, local government chairmen etc Military men? Yes but few, infact very few compared to the overflowing agbada donning, pot bellied flaunting civilians who made up a very large percentage of the men who have controlled the affairs of this country for the past 16 yrs of democratic rule. The last administration headed by a civilian had the opportunity of turning the reproach of this country to a thing of the past and make this country a glittering diamond emerged from the harsh and unfriendly process of refining, there was oil price boom in the world, other oil producing countries stepped up dia game, made life better for their people. What did our big round hat wearing government do......er....nothing....except if u want to consider the looting, stashing and carting away of money meant to make lives better for the populace, provide help to those in need of it and give this country it so desperately longs and thirsts for.....how many years does it take to build the complex bridges of apapa, the seemingly unending third mainland bridge in Lagos, the breathtaking national art theatre in surulere and the list is endless. how many of these were built under military rule and how many a structure to be compared to the aforementioned were built by civi administeration.....lemme see...2nd Niger bridge, if u will consider a proposal as something substantial. ponder on these my friend and I will be here waiting for ur reply...I love Nigeria! |
One would normally think that the law is suppose to be a fortress for the victim, a succour for the hurt, a defence for the helpless and hope for those searching for one where there is none, all these suddenly disappears once highly paid fat bellied, running mouthed corrupted lawyers start interpreting, rigmarolling and panel beating the law and then you'll see the guilty living and working freely in the society...... |
These laws are not meant for Christians, Observing them letter to letter negates the essence of Christ's death and ressurection. If you read your bible well you should know that. |
oluamid:I no go mind dat beer ooo.....Heineken will be appropriate walahi! |
Most of the infrastructure we enjoy in this country today where done during the military Era. Check the bridges, the road networks, dams, refineries all where constructed under military rule and politicians will have us believe that the military did more harm than good.....what is most disheartening is the level of mediocrity among the populace and politicians are seriously cashing in on it. That's why they share bags of rice, garri etc with their faces on it, we hail them. They construct a 5km road that won't even last 6 months before pot holes start springing up and you'll see heavy road launching ceremony with women wearing political "Aso Ebi" dancing under the sun and they go home with the 5k thank you for coming envelope at d end of the day for songs rendered in honour of thieving politicians. Wonder what the way forward is for my dear country.... |

? Pls stop this. Dance of ignorance and let's be ready to hold these guys accountable for their actions. FYI, I dnt like PDP, I'm just a concerned Nigeria hoping for a brighter tommorrow
