U just can't help but like this guy if you listen to him during interviews, he is cool calm and collected, and his appearance is that of a humble person who understands the privilege given to him. Wish other footballers can learn from him

First of all, I must commend the Brains behind the creation of this wonderful forum, no doubt Nairaland has become an important part of the Nigerian online community, a place where people of different classes, races, culture, languages and location can deliberate on topical issues as it affects our day to day living, keeping us aware of the various happenings within the country and in other parts of the world at large. It has afforded members of this forum the opportunity to see the various reactions of people to different issues and further widening the awareness range of its readers. For the aforementioned reasons and more I say kudos to the operators of Nairaland, great job guyz!
I will like to use this post as an appeal to the Operators for the creation of a new Category in addition to the present ones. I propose the category to be Titled :Motivation. It will be a category where topics and write up relating to motivational issues, goal achievements and life tips will be posted.
It will no doubt be an avenue to better the Lives of the teeming followers of this forum. I have formed the habit of checking Nairaland every now and then for something new, it will be an advantage if I can read various life impacting topics here.
I will be glad if this appeal can be considered and granted speedy approval.
I am also appealing to fellow Nairalanders to support this request by commenting positively. Sorry for posting this under this forum. Thanks. Happy 2016

But the hatred Sunnis express towards Shiites even in Nigeria is unquantifiable, I have a sunni friend who enters a blood rage mode once u mention anything Shia.

Redeem Christian Church does not have any doctrine prohibiting you from marrying outside the church, if it is true he wants to ne a born again christian, your relationship might not work again especially if he is not ready to settle down in a long time,he might be trying to avoid temptations for now......i'll advice you just be calm, don't sweat it, if you are meant to be together he'll definitely come back to you, and in d process of reading replies some people might say some crazy things on this forum, I advice you take the positive comments and ignore the negatives....cheers!

Politics / Re: ‘How I Lost 5 Family Members In Army/Shiites Clash’ by fammo: 10:21am On Dec 27, 2015
Those of you supporting these shiites need your brains checked, let's stop being sentimental for once and call a spade a spade, imagine if a group of peopl will deny the COAS access to a road cos of some silly procession, what would they have done to an ordinary citizen? Imagine your wife was in labour, or a sick family member needs urgent medical attention and some rascals block the road, a Federal Govt road and you loose that life I'm sure you won't be spewing trash, ask people living in zaria, they go through all these hardship and even more because of some shiite movement and you have the audacity to blame NA, abeg make una rest jare!

Phones / Re: The Good The Bad & The "WorWor": The InnJoo 2 Review by fammo: 12:40pm On Dec 15, 2015
Nice Review, might not have gotten through the third line had it been a written review, cos I didn't see myself getting an android fone apart from Samsung, buh thanks to ur smile I waited till d end and I'm better informed bout d Injoo 2. So if doing both the written and d video review won't be too much for you, I think you should do both.
This review however as in other reviews does not talk much bout the durability of the fone as well as its longevity. Experience has tot me that low cost fones wiv high performance don't usually last long. Don't know if that's a misconception on my part
And lastly good work! Keep it up!

Some African culture are just appalling..
Nevertheless, they are our culture angry
I choose not to go by those cultures, someone came up with those cultures due to his understanding of times and seasons, we can also come up with ours, a culture that is pro-life, healthy, respects one another, morally rich and has all the needed elements of Humanity, we can adopt that and call it culture not some laws consulted by some greedy old folk to benefit his family line in the name of cleansing team!

Imagine tradition abeg??
Later someone will say let's be proud of our African culture, yet this is a culture that ridicules d corpse of a woman who went thru d stress and pain of carrying a child for 9 months and who probably due to some careless midwifery technique or lack of proper health care dies during childbirth. I can just imagine all the items that will be required by the so-called cleansing. Feeding them for seven days in your house after just loosing a wife and child. People benefitting from such tradition can go as far as killing a pregnant woman so that their business can move and I bet you they'll do anything to justify this insane act and prevent it's abolition by all cost.
The most apalling part of the whole thing for me is when the chief said they'll do everything to avoid the re-incarnation of the woman, how about doing everything to ensure she doesn't die, that way you won't have to bother about re-incarnation...nah dat'll be bad business for the cleansing team, no more seven days lounging and feasting at the expense of a bereaved family.
Rubbish!
