I don't think this info is correct. My Bsc cert is bearing my maiden name. I registered with my new name and included my marriage cert and affidavit of name change. My ECA report came in my new name. But WES always indicates somewhere on the report that one of the certificate has a different name from the other in which case is my MBA cert. You can register in whatever name you want. The total cost of evaluation + delivery+ harmonised sales tax is what you will pay for (I think it's about $233). Click the credit card option and input your debit card details.

God bless u real good @Glistering star for trying to lift up a brother/sister. I had tears in my eyes by d time I finished reading thru ur msg to @Ladon7. U ve said it all and yes, u can achieve it. All d best @Ladon7.
GlitteringStar:

Hello Ladon7,

First, I admire your persistence. However, for you to have written the test four times without getting your desired score means you need to change your strategies. You need to relax. Take a deep breath. Don't rush to book another test. You need to analyse the part(s) where you are weak. How can you do this?

The Listening Module: You said your practice test is okay but the real test is the main issue. Does that means your mind do wander away when the tape is playing? Or could it be that you are not practising under exam conditions? Exam conditions such as being strict when marking, not pausing the tape and the like. Or are you always practising with easy questions that is nothing when compared to the real test?

The essence of what I'm trying to say is that you should identify what you are doing that is wrong. Definitely, something is wrong somewhere. It could either be the strategies you are using, or lack of concentration or even exam anxiety. You can look for an exam centre that do provide Bluetooth headphones if your centre doesn't provide one.

The Reading Module: One important thing to note about this module is that timing is very important. You need to learn to time yourself when doing your practice tests and adhere to it strictly. For instance, you can learn to spend 50 minutes in answering all the questions instead of the normal 60 minutes when doing your practice tests. This will help you to manage your time when you are under exam conditions. Learn other ways to manage your time. It is also important to learn your own strategies before doing the real test. For example, Mr A's strategy for answering TFNG questions will definitely be different from Mr B's strategy. Learn all these before doing the real test. Improve your vocabulary and learn their synonyms too. Check google for tips to score a '9' in the reading module.

Also, do not focus solely on the listening and reading modules. Don't let it be the case that you will focus on those two and neglect the other two modules when practising. There are many websites and materials to aid you in your preparations. Also note that it is not just about reading this and that. Make sure you use the RIGHT materials/websites.

Finally, Don't be mad at yourself. Just like what @Einsteino said yesterday, each person's path is different. The fact that someone made it at first attempt does not make that person a genius. And the fact that you didn't make it at the first attempt doesn't make you a failure. Thomas Edison's teachers said he was "too stupid to learn anything". He was fired from his first two jobs for being "non-productive". As an inventor, Edison made 1,000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb. When a reporter asked, "How did it feel to fail 1,000 times?" Edison replied, "I didn’t fail 1,000 times. The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps".

Tell yourself you can do it. Yes, YOU CAN. It is important that you identify your weak points and work on them before booking another test. During your next (final) test, relax before and during the exam. Don't be anxious and scared. Always remind yourself that YOU CAN DO IT.

May you get your desired score in your next (final) attempt. Amen.

[Aint u a gracious and wonderful fellow? Taking so much joy and time to itemize answers to an epistle of questions! U ve got a beautiful heart i must commend. Keep it up and congrats to d Nova Scotia fellow. quote author=Kontagious post=63307374]
Congratulations on your nomination.

1.) You can use address below for all documents;
Central Intake Office (CIO)
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
Sydney, Nova Scotia
Canada.

2.) A bank was recently mentioned to have increased monthly limit to USD5,000. Not sure of the bank at the moment but i'd be guessing total App fee + RPRF for family of 4 should come to CAD2,480 (depending on age of the children). A Naira card aside that of the mentioned bank might not go through if you'd be paying App fee and RPRF at once.

3.) All members of family is to upload passport, some allowance in body posture is given to toddlers though but not too far off the accepted standard. A professional photographer will know how to handle your toddlers. Six months is the time-frame given for passport photographs, so, you may explore option of using same passport for e-Apr and on PPR. If you intend doing this, tell the photographer you want the PPR dimension (50mm * 70mm), s/he knows other specifications to follow. You can try any Studio 24 outlet. You should tell them to stamp and sign at least one each of you all. Soft copy of the passport is not necessary since you'd still be scanning other documents, you can scan the hardcopy passport just as well, but if you feel you want the soft copy, please collect it. Might still come in handy for some other stuffs.

2 copies of passport is required, one to have name of photo studio, date taken and subject's name at the back while the other should be left blank. Applies to everybody in your application

4.) A gift deed is not necessary when spouse transfers. A letter authorizing the use for immigration purpose will suffice. Frankly, I'd say N2m out of what is needed for family of 4 should not necessitate that authorization letter but for peace of mind, you can include it. Gift deed is however not needed.

5.) Who should do PCC: PA, Spouse and children above 18. Take along passport photograph (2 to be safe), copies of your international passport biopage, and of course money grin. Average of 4k per person if you go through Inspector Moshood. You'd get all the PCCs in about 30-45mins, shouldn't exceed 1 hour.

6.) Take same thing for PCC but your original international passport at hand. You'd be given a sheet which is what you'd upload in placeholder for medicals. You should as a fact eat before leaving home, you don't know when you'd be attended to.

7.) Just three hospitals in Lagos, prices defers though;
A. Q-Life Family Clinic,
Plot 155a Prince Ade Odedina Street,
off Sinari Daranijo, Victoria Island Annexe.

B. IOM Migration Health Assessment Centre
No. 1 Isaac John Street,,
GRA Ikeja.

C. The Childrens Practice and the Consultants Practice,
25 Raymond Njoku Street,
Ikoyi,

8.) Hospital, depends on your choice and where you coming from but Alagbon is just after Passport Office (NIS) going from Obalende but before if coming through Kingsway Road.

Hope all questions are covered, and congratulations again on your nomination.
You should evaluate both degrees to get maximum points. It's usually those with master's or PHD that are advised to evaluate their masters or PHD alone..

No. 1. I am not sure. Let the gurus answer that.
No. 2. You can apply with two kids without their dad. You can either declare their dad but include him as non accompanying. Or you can decide not to include him. That way your indicating you're divorced. You'll show divorce documents. But you won't need any other document from him.

On the fees. It will be cheaper only to the extent that you will not pay application fee and rprf but you'll still show pof for four people if you're not divorced and even if he's not accompanying.

With regards to medicals. If you put him as non accompanying you'll still need his medicals and PCC. But if I you're filling divorced then you won't need any document.

Gurus in the house am I right. Because I'm kind of in the same situation so I've been doing a lot of reading and research. In my case we are still married but he's not applying and he give his full support to us.

Am happy to be here. Have been gaining a lot from dis thread and ur contributions. God bless u all and make our dreams come through. I will really appreciate ur prompt comments on my questions.

1. I ve a B. SC. and PGDE. can dez be regarded as two or more certs? Which do I do ECA on?

2. I ve two kids and is planning to leave with them. Their dad is not coming along, at least not for now. I was hoping it wld be cheaper, cld I be mistaken? Will my husband's application fee as well as PR fee be paid even dow he isnt going? What about his medicals?

I also read dat parental permission will be required from d spouse not travelling. Does anyone know what dis requirement is all about?

I ve other issues but will leave that for later. Tx all in anticipation.
