I saw Saheed osupa perform at a show, met his band boys who are my favorite band too. He's probably the only man I'd willingly want to meet because of his vast knowledge and deep music. I've also met couple of nollywood actors in abeokuta where I live, I've also seen some top hip hop musicians but I usually don't give a f. |
illitrate:Most people receive this gesture because of the way we dress and talk. |
Most people think I'm proud because I don't know many people and some of my class mates thinks I Sabi book which is definitely a lie.. I just take education seriously. My friends think I'm stingy even when I can't cater for myself they expect me to cater for them too because they believe I'm from a well to do family which is false and I try to dress well within my means.I can go on and on but they are all misconceptions. ![]() |
toprealman:Ogun state doesn't have a governor yet, GNI was the perfect candidate at the time but My people chose a photo governor.. He can snap Ehn. |
toprealman:God bless you ooo. On Axis where construction is ongoing for shoprite, it's only right if he fixes the road. |

kayzat:Ifo and òtá in ogun state, that's the only SA I can vouch for tbh because he's someone I know. If you want to know how close I am to the person, I'll drop my contact. |
sholaniyi:Well over here it's the other way round. Because bet9ja is paying instantly and they are nailing it. |
I've read the whole thread and I can people suggesting Betshops.. It's by far the greatest option with that price range. Dear Op, please don't consider Betking for now because I've seen a man who invented 1 million in Betking in one good location in Lagos but the business died a awful death because of bet9ja proximity. If you want to go in to betting, go for bet9ja.. and if you're around Lagos or Ogun state. I know Super Agents of Bet9ja that guide you through and make sure you don't regret your investment and I know if you're in a good location, you'll make minimum of 40-60k per week. |
generationz:There are 1001 monikers you could have gone with Sis.. Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house. |
generationz:If this were to be twitter.... Says someone that spells generations as generationz. ![]() |
smartolala:I'm sorry, this is not a state of art building.. If this is an iconic building, then I need to quit architecture school. |
First, you decide not to involve an architect by plagiarism (downloading plans). Now you want us to help you further your act by not involving a QS.. this is how you guys go about building soon-to-collapse houses. |
That's actually a matriculation gown in Mapoly. |
Only architects or architecture students can relate to this, did traditional Architecture in my second year and I can tell you it was an unforgettable experience. Nice one guys, keep the train moving and keep making Architects proud. A brother in the struggle wishes all of us success. |
I see nothing wrong in the video.. I watched it all.. Ghanians took it too far. |
With an option of 2 million naira? That's enough for him to leverage on and not go to jail. |
The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has constituted a committee to look into the operational modalities of Moshood Abiola University of Science and Technology, Abeokuta and Ogun State Polytechnic, Ipokia. In a statement released in Abeokuta on Sunday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Kunle Somorin, Governor Abiodun stated that this has become necessary because the State-owned Moshood Abiola Polytechic, MAPOLY, has been comatose since the Moshood Abiola University of Science and Technology, Abeokuta and Ogun State Polytechnic. Ipokia were created. He noted that as a result of the unresolved issues, the fate of candidates and students of MAPOLY and their lecturers now hangs in a balance. "We cherish human capital development. This committee is therefore set up to holistically review the status, viability and sustainability of these newly established institutions. Ogun state governor, Dapo Abiodun shared pictures he took with the states' 9th lawmakers with the caption After the inauguration of the members of the 9th Ogun State House of Assembly and the subsequent election of Principal Officers of the House in a rancour free process, the Honourable members paid me a familiarization visit in my office this afternoon. While introducing his colleagues, the newly elected Speaker, Rt. Hon Taiwo Olakunle Oluomo expressed the House readiness to support our administration by enacting laws and putting up legislations that will assist us to achieve our agenda to build a better future for our dear state. In my response, I commended their level of maturity and ability to make the process a participatory one. To me, there was nothing more heartwarming than the fact that I was privileged to receive one of the arms of government that had achieved such feat in a peaceful and well coordinated manner. I charged the newly elected officers not to see the opportunity as their right, but appreciate the fact that they were given additional responsibilities to serve, demonstrate leadership and character, while urging them to carry other members along in their legislative activities. While rounding up my address, I seized the opportunity to reiterate our administration's commitment towards providing good, focused and qualitative governance and to create the enabling environment for a public private sector partnership, which is fundamental to the creation of an enduring economic development and individual prosperity of the people of Ogun.

I'm a Stan of Osupa, I practically know all of his album... I'm a youth, I'm educated, I'm not a thug, and I rather listen to fuji than most of these Hip Hop musics. |

Lemme not say anything, Nairalanders be making people like me who eat on the dining table every time I am at home feel guilty. Anyways I use the dining almost every time, likewise everyone in my family because it allows us bond and talk about how the day went or plans for the day. |
There was mild drama as the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of the Moshood Abiola University of Science and Technology, Prof. Akinwale Coker and the Rector, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Dr Samson Odedina on Monday clashed over the ownership of the office been occupied by the rector within the campus in Abeokuta, the state capital. It would be recalled that the facility being fought over by the duo is currently been occupied by the rector a temporary arrangement pending when he moves to the newly established polytechnic in Ipokia. It should also be recalled that the Ogun state government has upgraded MAPOLY into a degree awarding institution while creating a polytechnic in Ipokia area of the state. Barely two weeks ago, after the purported inauguration and swearing in of the OgunPoly, Ipokia Governing Council a few days to the expiration of his administration, the governor has taken the rector to the new polytechnic even when the structures are not completely ready for use. The government in its bid to the take off of the polytechnic has also instructed that the management and staff of MAPOLY should move to the new polytechnic for the take-off of academic activities, an arrangement that seems contrary to the provisions of the signed bill that establish the institution. A week after, the governor also announced the name of the Vice-chancellor of the University among other governing council members who are expected to start work immediately to pioneer the commencement of the University of which the defunct Moshood Abiola Polytechnic transited to. In compliance to the governor’s directive, the VC moved to the defunct polytechnic which has now been pronounced as the campus for the new university, to assume office as the substantive and first VC of the institution seven days after his appointment but was refused access since the rector still operates from the office. Trouble started when the VC met fierce resistance as the rector insisted that there was no directive from above to vacate the office, claiming that he is still in charge of the office. A source in the polytechnic hinted PLATFORM TIMES that, the VC sat in his car for almost two hours after which he called the governor to report the issue at hand. The VC who however called the governor to report the refusal of the rector to vacate the office for him was said to have also complained that the rector should take his car from the point where it was parked, claiming that he is the rightful Chief executive Officer of the institution as it is not the campus of OgunPoly, Ipokia where the rector belong. On reporting to the governor, the source also added that the rector was however compelled by the governor to get the new VC an office or move his belongings to the new polytechnic in Ipokia where his office legally is. The issue was however tactically and temporarily laid to rest as information revealed that efforts are in top gear to provide a more befitting office for the VC after the governor interfered. http://platformtimes.com.ng/2019/04/11/drama-as-maustech-vc-mapoly-rector-clash-over-office-ownership/
