Ibrahim said that Buhari has destroyed the remaining image of Nigeria by creating another terrorist group, he wondered how foreign investors will invest in a country with 3 deadly terrorist groups but when he said that Buhari should not be allowed to go for 2nd term, this young, man became angry and called him a mad man.

I noticed something you will never see a Muslim in his right senses insulting Jesus but same cannot be said with Christians and their desire to insult Prophet Muhammad (s. a. w) at every chance they get.
Every Muslim must believe in all the Prophets of God(Allah) and respect them too before he becomes a true muslim.

Christianity did not begin as a religion, but was actually a sophisticated government propaganda exercise used to pacify the subjects of the Roman Empire.

Nnamdi Kanu Gave Me a Reason to Say This: Thank You, President Buhari:
BY AKINTUNDE ADEYEMO—Monday, September 11, 2017 (11: 26a.m).

You can't send police officers to quench a quasi-military camp, which is maintained by Nnamdi Kanu, who has aggressively vowed to tear apart a sovereign nation, Nigeria.
Kanu made a serious mistake by parading a ragtag army; especially when you have a former General as the president, that was disrespectful.

I lived in Nigeria for more than two (2) decades, Nigerian soldiers don't like to be disrespected; in fact, from working with soldiers in the United States (Michigan National Guard, Joint Forces Headquarters), I can tell you that, generally, soldiers don't like to be disrespected.

If someone, a civilian for that matter, maintains and parades militants (wearing a military uniform), he should not expect the government to roll in with police officers and patrol vans; he should reasonably expect army tanks.

Pursuant to the 1949 Geneva Conventions Article 3, your status changes once you start wearing an army uniform, for you become an enemy combatant: A recognized army (the Nigerian Army, in this case) can use force to neutralize you and your fellow militants.

Let’s gaze into history here: When the 1791 "Whiskey Rebellion" happened in the United States, spearheaded by some civilians, President George Washington did not send in police officers, he brought in military tanks to quench the rebellion.

In the United States, when violence escalates, a governor, pursuant to Title 32 of the United States Code, can summon the army and their tanks to the street (didn’t you watch CNN at the height of the “Black Lives Matter movement;” didn’t you see numerous armoured personnel carrier (APC) on the street)?

Let's stop pretentiously invoking the violation of the rule of law, especially if you don't understand the rule of law and the rule of engagement.

A military incursion, or rolling of tanks, into a street, in order to clear the illusion of outlaws, like Nnamdi and his cohorts, is not a violation of the rule of law, but an enforcement of the rule of law.

If Kanu is scared of a small deployment of soldiers, will he chicken out when battalions are deployed? To his supporters, we told you this: secession is not won on Facebook. Continue arguing about the violation of the rule. Listen, when hostility begins, the rule of law is suspended or amended. I hope we won't get there. Start listening.

Suspicion Sparks Stampede at
Kano Mosque

A suspected terrorist triggered
panic and stampede at a Friday
mosque in Kano while the imam
was delivering his sermon.

The incident occurred on Friday at
Ahalul Sunna mosque opposite
Rijiyar Zaki mosque along New
Site road of Bayero University,
Kano, when the mosque was full
with worshippers for Juma’at
prayer.

The panic and stampede broke out
in the premises of the mosque at
the peak of the sermon by the
imam as people began running
and scaling the big wall of the
mosque for their safety.

One of those injured, Umar Farouk
Dandawaki, said: "I sustained
injuries on my legs and shoulders
because I jumped over the wall of
the mosque for my life.

"The suspect who looked like a
mad man attempted to be close to
the Imam but was stopped by the
mosque security."

Farouk added that the quick
intervention of Good Samaritans
and policemen deployed at the
mosque quelled the tension.

It was learnt that the suspect was
also taken away by the policemen
for questioning.

Letter to Mark Zuckerberg

Dear Sir,

I write to register my complaint over your company's failure to identify with Nigerians in times of tragedy, but rather chose to identify with other nations.

Sir, I don't want to believe your bias was informed by the superiority the races you often identify with.

In any of our recurring tragedies, either when we were bombed in our sanctuaries or social gatherings, Facebook never identified with Nigeria.

While my heart goes to the French over last night's terrorist attacks that led to the death of at least 120 people, I couldn't but lash at the folly of Facebook for failure to identify with Nigeria when an estimated 15,000 Nigerians were killed by terrorists in round-the-clock attacks in eight years.

I notice a smashing theme you created for your 1 billion users to use in order to identify with a particular people. You are even more effusive when you pin the banner on our doorstep for easy use.

When Boko Haram terrorists attacked Baga town in January this year, the death toll was estimated at 2,000. This never melted your company's heart to create an instant theme for your 1 billion consumers to identify with Nigeria.

Let me remind you that in a single attack on Kano city in January 2012, at least 185 lives perished, and in Bama town in February 2014, at least 120 Nigerians were massacred.

In one fell swoop in November 2014, Boko Haram bombed 220 Nigerians at a mosque in Kano city, 50 worshippers bombed at Madalla church in 2011, and in February 2014, at least 60 students were slain at a Yobe school. Your company didn't identify with us despite our loyalty to your network.

Let me also remind you that at a weekend in January 2014, terrorists' attacks on eight Borno villages left 150 dead. Facebook blinked over it – perhaps because we are not the same as the French.

On May 20, 2014, car bombs left a gory sight at Jos bus terminal and a market. 118 people were declared dead. We posted the pictures on Facebook, but you turned your eyes away.

Even #BringBackOurGirls movement, agitating for the release of 224 school girls abducted by terrorists, failed to prick the conscience of your company to identify with Nigeria. We posted every activity, every sit-out and every march on your network, but you blinked over it.

As a company to gives equal opportunity and discourages racism, I urge you to identify with not only Nigerians but Africans in their trying times.

Attached herewith are two copies of Nigerian flags for your perusal and consideration.

Best regards,

Jaafar Jaafar

Did anyone miss this yesterday: The Supreme Court of the United States of America has finally legalized homosexual marriage round the entire 50 states of the country.

The repugnant news, coming from the representatives of the Dajjal, felt so much like a desecration of the Holy month of Ramadhan. Allah is really a Patient God. The evil people of Sodom and Gomorrah did not do as much as this before Allah annihilated them with a destruction that was previously unheard of. Our world is sick. At no time in the history of humanity has moral perversion and degradation reached this insane level that would make even the devil shudder. In case you don't appreciate the seriousness of this, it is a level that is far below that of the animals. I've never seen a male monkey mating (having sexual intercourse) with another male monkey. Neither have I seen such despicable act among goats. So who's higher in moral rectitude: a homosexual or an animal?

I pity those people who send their children and wards to school in the US and UK. Chances are that they will return as homosexuals or drug addicts. I would rather have them as illiterates than take such costly risk.

This declaration by the US Supreme Court is evil in its entirety and condemnable in the strongest of terms. It is an afront against God and humanity. It is capable of incuring the wrath of God on the entire earth and its inhabitants.

May Allah absolve us of this shameful malady and not hold us responsible for it by virtue of the fact that it's happening in our life time.

Those who have ears, let them hear

AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI
(COMMANDER IN CHIEF OF THE ARMED FORCES OF NIGERIA)

Dear Sir,

Let me start by Congratulation on the success recorded by APC even though it is not just a victory to APC but a victory to the masses, because now we know our votes counts.

It came to our notice that alot of People in the cabinet of Mr Jonathan are preparing to leave the country, Nigerian masses feel cheated if these People are allowed to go like that, we feel molested in the system where "the rich is getting richer and the poor is becoming poorer", our economy is only booming in the pockets of few individuals whom considered our wealth as there fathers belonging. On this note we call on the APC lead Government to issue statement on 1st June 2015 directing Security personnel to close Nigerian Boarders, confiscate, withdraw passport and other travel documents of Mr President, his wife, ministers and all that served under the corrupt PDP Government until there handover notes are proven properly, until our record in the treasury are intact. The priority should not be limited to the following People:

Goodluck Jonathan (Former President)
Patience Ebele
Dokubo Asari
Femi Fani Kayode
Doyin Okupe
Clueless Nuhu Ribadu
Ruebin Abati
Adamu Muazu
Diezani Alison
Ikonja eweala
Edwin Clark

We also urge People's General to prove alot of financial scandal that took place during the clueless regime and brought to justice whom so ever found guilty.

The action is not aim to victimize or revenge but ensure accountability of Public Fund after cruising in the ocean of corruption for 16yrs, the action will serve as deterrent to the next generation.

This is Government of the Masses, by the Masses, and for the Masses, we do hope you will consider what the Masses needs and direct your attentions, emotions, and consideration there. May Almighty God direct, guide, and protect you. Ameen.

Thank You.

Yours Sincerely,

ALI UMAR FARAGAI

A frnd of My Dad who is a Religion Philosopher was arguing with my Dad n some of their frnds that being an Atheist does not mean"anything goes"- infact, quite the opposite. What do you think? Can Morality be Independent of GOD? Can people who don't believe in GOD still be as"Good" as those who do? What govern your own decision about whether and how to act Ethically?

I personally gather that many people believe that Atheism implies Nihilism- that rejecting GOD means rejecting Morality. A person who denies GOD, they reason must be, if not actively Evil, at least indifferent to considerations of Right n Wrong.

Now to my questions Nairalander's.
(1) Where does Morality come from?
(2) What guides your thinking about how to act?
(3) Do you choose to act Morally mostly because of the promise of Reward or the threat of Punishment- from GOD or from some other Authority. Do you agree contrary to what some believe, living your life ethically is even more important if you are an Atheist, since if you do something Morally Reprehensible there is no God to forgive you, and the only value your life has is the Choices you make?
