5thElement: Lol. You are not unveiling factories and industries, you are unveiling mega auditoriums where some conmen can continue deceiving the "sheeple".
I think you have "Goatle" movement too. As many and formidable as you ALL are , the ONLY thing you do is to criticize those who do something.
Bjainy: His (Osibanjo) job was to investigate the case and report to the appropriate channel which he did. Mr. President swept the report under the carpet not the Vice President
Bitterness deadens one's sense of judgement that is why you see him talking illogically.
I like the fact that there is a new revolutionary thinking mindset of young Nigerians. We have seen that God will not come down from heaven to build infrastructure assets, make structured capital available to small business in form of moderate interest loans but rather, these things are initiatives that we are to make happen.
Religion is very important to us as Nigerians and it is the way we are brought up and I hope people will realise one day that yes, God is good[all the time] but we need to go on a journey of nation-building in order to rival developed countries of the world.
Rather than praying against accidents, why don’t we build standard and quality roads with good signs. We can solve joblessness among our graduates by encouraging investments from the private sector to manufacturing, petrochemicals, mining, pharmaceutical and construction. All these can be encouraged by effective government policies, provision of enabling infrastructures such as electricity [etc] and reduction of red-tapes. We’ll realise that a lot of the things we pray about are just simple steps we need to take to turn around our plight as a nation.
How have you landed your voice to the ones who have done something (remarkable) in the area you are complaining of?
You went dumb and numb. Deeper life, like other churches have been doing their bit and you cannot hide behind your differed philosophy to castigate the church of God.
Let me ask, what has your own done vis a vis what you complain about.
Soreza: The youths need jobs, every street in Nigeria have more than 5 churches, still we opening more,no factory, nothing, tomorrow one will wonder why black people are cursed.
Where were you when the church single-handedly built s bridge that the Lagos governor came to commission, dead? Because we didn't read your comments then
9japrof: What about convenience, buying through banks or VTU offers me convenience cos I don't need to hit the road every time I want my phone recharged.
Every business survives through innovation and adaption to changing times but not self pity.
Agreed the convenience is there, you can't always look at your convenience and continuing to enrich the fat banks at the expense of those who are trying just to make a paltry sum to make an end meet.
Social effects of our 'comfort and convenience' is important. I hope you will not like some guys pointing some weapon at you while driving through a dark and rough area because they must survive
Going to churches looking for healing but never God. Your fibroid may be as a result of much ingesting of Contraceptives. You can't have the best of two worlds at the same time.
wakaman: Snakes, What happened to good old prescribed prayers, why protest against killing Christians alone and not condemning the killing of other non Christian victims or is it some sort of team play league to you people.
You should be preaching peace practically and prayerfully.
CAN - Con christians Ass ol s of Nigeria.
Earlier today, Osinbajo proposed that Christians should pray, you were not there to lend your voice or defend him again the online marauders . Now CAN has proposed another approach, you are here lambasting the CAN.
It clear you are neither here nor there and your true colour is exposed. Stop citing Bible to stand against anything that's Church in Nigeria.
So it's prayers that will stop killer Herdsmen from killing, create employment, revive the economy or stop boko haram from bombing people?
This man and his oga I don't know who is more empty
These Antichrists will stop at nothing to downgrade anything in the Word of God. Can you imagine he quoted a portion of the scriptures and despite what followed after, he still went ahead to play down everything. If Osinbajo has said we should take up arms, this these wolves in sheep's clothing, will still look for the Word of God to nail him. This admonition is so free and does not require money (tithes) and yet it's tormenting to their father-Satan
You are calling Osinbajo empty? All the 'successful' people in your generation are still going a long way to meet up with him. If you disprove it, roll them out for us to see them
PointZerom: I learnt that Bishop Mike Okonkwo is in attendance, if Pst. Kumuiyi didn't invite Pastor Lazarus Muoka of The Lord's Chosen to this great event...he has fallen my hand.
obonujoker: Ode man... buh your wife and the list of sofola etc, have spent more than 8 years in senate, yet they continue to seek more elections......
See the political illiterate talking politics! So what do you say of the likes of David Mark that has been in the Senate for about 19 years.
"They believe that the only way they can get Igbo votes is to make this kind of promise that is not based on logic or any political thinking..." -Okorie
Any tribe or people that rely on this kind of above 'promise'cl can NEVER make it politically anywhere not to talk of Nigeria.
I bet anyone even PDP, if elected in 2019, won't hand over to Igbos in 2027 UNLESS it is politically expedient.
HigherEd: Putting this story out there is in no attempt to embarrass anyone or any church. As i always walk a very careful lane when reporting issues regarding the church. I have barely laid the facts as I remembered them.
The bible tells the story of how Lucifer rebelled in God's own perfect territory and was cast out with his entire team. So if rebellion and secession can happen in Heaven then it surely can happen in church. If Paul and Barnabas(both anointed) could part ways over differences then it can happen between Oyedepo and Adjeman while we agree both of them are still anointed. Therefore let no atheists nor unbeliever jump on this as reason to villify or misrepresent the church.
The church is Christ bride but it is not perfect, but it is still Christ bride nonetheless. Issue like this are common in Christianity, even from the early days. It then takes wisdom and maturity to handle these challenges as they come. This is not peculiar to Nigerian churches either. Unfortunately, we Christians might continue hearing stories like this till Jesus comes back. So let it not shake your faith in the mandate of the church. It is just one of those things.
I do not agree with Adjeman but I kind of understand him. I know in his heart he regards the church leadership and even respects Oyedepo. But somewhere there he feels he is being cheated and that would be where he might have erred. The prosperity character of a church like winners chapel flows from the top and trickles down. Whether the branch is in somalia or ogbomoso it would prosper. Same way the multiplication anointing in RCCG flows from top to bottom. I'm sure the Ghanian church was even astounded that they could contribute a whole $60,000 a month(back in 2004). Adjeman should have just learnt the principle and left. Men like Enenche, Adeyemi, Poju and Ibeyiomie learnt under Oyedepo and today have equally financially strong ministries irrespective of poor economy.
When the succession plan was allegedly closed to Abioye via church constitution people told him to leave and create his own church. Considering Abioye could cart away thousands of Winners members yet wisdom was present and Abioye refused to leave Oyedepo. And today, even the apparent successor sees Abioye as his Spiritual father and mentor(as I was told).
I also salute Oyedepo's wisdom in not going on a pulpit sponsored tirade against Adjeman. It is better recreational bloggers like me report these things than for it to be heard bitterly on the pulpit.
Lastly there is nothing necessarily wrong with remitting money to headquarters. The early gentile churches also remitted money back to jerusalem. Whatever process has been set up by the leadership of the church should be followed. If you can't, just leave!
FortifiedCity: Adjeman successfully hijacked a billion dollar corporation. That's ingenious
It's good to process information before you open your mouth in reply
Taking time to read diligently can and will better your life.
WHAT YOU TRASHED ABOVE IS THE DIRECT OPPOSITE OF HOW IT ALL ENDED but you will never read because: 1. You think commenting first attracts generational blessing 2. You also think you have found a 'worthy' news with your colleagues to revel in mockery. See ya life!
hardworking18: I started this account with $3000 and now it is $33000+ and running
When I first opened this thread, I was moved to hear from one who is passionate and ambitious BUT on the second look, with what you quoted above, WHY ARE YOU SOUNDING ABEGGING IF YOU HAVE MADE SO MUCH?
It's clearly stated that... " Hon Ben Nwankwo, a house member representing Orumba Federal constituency has led a delegaon to the presidential villa," But your small mindedness will never allow you to see.
CodeTemplar: The crab mentality goes beyond Christianedom it is a black man thing. It also manifest in form of crowd mentality and has a blend of Stockholm syndrome.
Many of these church miss road members don't care if the name, work of Christ is downgraded and trampled upon as long as its not their own GO or denomination. These are the ones Antichrist is banking on to use as supporters as long as he carries their own church along.
Baby freeze, with one breath, you deceive your mumu followers saying certain things belong to old Testament and in another breath you quote Old Testament to justify recklessness
So you would have wished the Janjoaweed invade the camp? The clause is very proactive If Nigerian leaders have been that proactive, we will not be in this mess today. Why will someone be willing to take free land to build in a place and be thinking of leaving? Dem bury your placenta for there?
